I haven't had any pinhole or tape issues with my Abenas and I wear them the most (sizes small and medium). I order them exclusively from XPMedical.

For what it's worth, I frequently wear both the small Abena S4s and the M4s and to me, they seem to be the exact same product, just one is smaller. It used to be back in the day that the smaller Abenas were shoddier but now, to me they appear to be of the same quality/thickness. etc. Anwyays!! On the top of Bambinos - I ordered a couple bags of the classicos which I haven't in quite a long time. I was very disappointed to find that the plastic backing is the same rough, almost clothlike plastic that the Bellissimos originally were. Someone had told me that the plastic had changed to a more plastic-y, smoother feeling plastic like the Bellissimos had, but either they were wrong or I got an older product? Anyone know. I'm so bummed. I HATE the plastic!!

I know that the second version of the Bellissimo had MUCH improved plastic. It reverted from the really terrible (imo) rough plastic to a really slick soft plastic again. Does anyone know if the rest of the Bambino line is going to undergo the same change? I really hope so. That change made me a huge Bambino fan again lol.

I think it's funny though that you revealed the name of your school. Any of the students in your class who decide to come here will see that post likely and know someone in their class is an ABDL. hope you never posted anything personally identifying on here...

Ehh that is pretty on par course with psych classes. It seems like every single one I've been in, fetishes are brought up at some point and ABDL has definitely been discussed more than once.

I'm sad to hear that about the smalls although fans of the smalls should try EuroBriefs because they're basically the exact same diaper (as the blue dry 24/7 "smalls").

The size difference didn't seem that significant until I actually tried wore them to be honest. Wore a regular teddy Bambino the other day that's the same size as the old Bellissimos and was surprised by how much smaller it seemed. However, they are still low riding and I doubt they would work out for someone who has a gut. No offense.

I doubt it. They didn't even have plastic backed diapers back in 08 when I used to buy that brand. All cloth.

I'm a fan of the redesigned Bellisimos. Compared to the other ones, the plastic backing is WAY better, it's no longer weirdly textured and they do feel thicker? Fluffier? It's hard to explain but I compared one to the other and there was a difference. I will say that if there's a size difference, it's a minimal change. I compared the sizes and it's not that different, maybe an inch or two. They are still "low rise", lol. But I love the fit. I will definitely be buying these again, I just wish they weren't so expensive. :'( Does anyone know if they plan to change the plastic backing on the other bambinos back to something better too?

Are mediums the same color? I bought some last month and they were a light blue color.

Agreed. Most ABDLs I know are into plastic backed diapers exclusively. Even if the up and coming generation of DLs like the cloth backed stuff, I don't think that generation is old enough to even buy these anyways for the most parts. I don't understand why an ABDL company would make a product that most ABDLs actively hate. It just does not make sense.

Ewww I freakin hate the plastic of the Bellissimos.

I prefer the sizing of the new ones also cause I'm borderline small/medium (my waist is 26" and my hips are 33"ish). I just didn't really like the texture of the plastic. at all. >.< and the tapes were pretty shitty as well. I miss the really soft plastic of the generation 1 bambinos. That stuff was amazing.
