  1. I wondered that very same thing myself at its inception, but knowing that DailyDi started this subforum, I never questioned him. *kneels and bows* "We're not worthy. We're not worthy."
  2. This is me!! I sometimes feel that I'm turning into the girl that I would have ultimately married. For me: Yes. Most definitely.
  3. There should be a separate club for those who are flying AND fucking!!! ps Excuse the language. The alliteration was too alluring.
  4. A box of bubble wrap and packing peanuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. Whoa! I didn't know that. Anywho, my first online purchase. Mother's Day gift: a porcelain flower. Never even saw a pic. Found out after she received it that it was even scented. Best online purchase ever! 1994! Prodigy. IBM compatible PC Intel 8086 10MHz in turbo mode. 2400 baud Hayes compatible modem. Oh. Nostalgia. Why, DailyDi, do you have to do this to me?
  6. "There's no place like home. There's no place like home." Of course, we can always stop and pick up others to divide the cost. The airplane can take 4 people.
  7. Her tree's deflated already? So sad. Nice snowman, though.
  8. More than the two of us can afford together. At 110 knots and $120/hr From Beaufort to Princeton: 353nm ~3.3hrs $385.10 Princeton to Williamsport: 115nm ~1.1hrs $125.46 Total round trip - $1021.12 If someone could offer that as a Christmas present (I've been a real good girl) I would be there in a heart beat.
  9. *pouty face* I wanna underground tunnel with a lightening fast train heading straight for PA!
  10. Try this out - http://www.archive.org/
  11. Do you know how much fun it's going to be to "take the tree down?" Do you have any darts, Sophie?
  12. Well, what are you waiting for?
  13. This site destroys the plot for Toy Story 3!
  14. *edited to add content* I haven't thought about it yet. Standby.... [This is me thinking aloud. It's an excellent opportunity to look at what I'm really thankful for and what I feel needs to be righted in the world.] And the second question needs a "not applicable." The poll won't accept answering just the first question. [Well, it would be nice to finish things that I started. As a flight instructor, I have some students that need to complete their training, but being realistic, I know that Make-a-wish won't be able to get that done in a day. Not so with the shed that I was building for my dad. It's was mostly complete before I moved four states away. That can be finished in a day with the materials and girlpower. I'm not going to be greedy by asking for money for myself; I won't be able to use it. Same goes for meeting people. Dead or alive. I'll eventually be able to in Heaven (if you believe that sort of thing). I've come to terms with God and my life. At this point in my life, I'm ready if it happens. So if I have that advance knowledge of death, I would really wish for something that would give back to my parents. There are some things that I'd like to take back: some things that I've done that I shouldn't, but actually taking them back will have repercussions that have already been explored in "Back to the Future." It might also ruin the lives of others that may benefit from my wrongdoing. Hmmm...Guess I'll have to think about this more.]
  15. I used to daydream about being in the hospital and recovering from a drug overdose. While I was there, everyone finds out that I have a drug problem and my classmates come to visit me, including the girl of my dreams who cared for and fell in love with me. But of course, I knew that wasn't going to happen and that drugs are no good.

But of course, I knew that wasn't going to happen and that drugs are no good. I think that most kids don't have too much difficulty in their lives and are just yearning for God to give out hardship so they don't feel guilty about life being too easy.
  17. That's absolutely incredible! You're so creative. I wish I had those abilities. So how big is it? Will everyone be able to see it through the window? Maybe next year, you can get a few with helium so that it floats just a little. When you're finished with Puddin's tree, you can stop here in NC to make mine. Please and Thank You! I'm also poor. That's why I made a wreath out of clippings from the trees outside. Although I did get a 7' set of lights for $3 at Kmart.
  18. at the last two posts. Hey, 2 more years and we'll be teenagers!!
  19. I learned one thing: toilet can be used as a verb!
