  1. Back in 1995 my husband and I were inspired by articles in DPF to organize a Sunday brunch for the Los Angeles Area ABDL community. Tommy let me mention the idea for a couple of months in my reqular column. Since all who wrote to us knew me by sight, but none knew one another, that first time we just told them when and where, the huge Sizzler Restaurant in Norwalk. I had a chair near the cashier, with a clipboard. When anyone recognized me, I handed him or her a small piece of yellow paper with "DPF" printed on it and room for them to add their name. That was held on their top with a blue or pink diaper pin. The Sizzler manager never asked why we were meeting there, he was glad for the business during the Sunday afternoon slack time. The feeling was the selection of yellow was sexually neutral. By 1995 what are the odds anyone not ABDL would recognize a diaper pin? No outsider said anything, or asked about DPF. Perhaps ABDL could be turned into a logo?
  2. Like you, I enjoyed Baby Kim. She came along at just the right time and thus was able to continue making photos and videos about a real woman with a major inner big baby girl. Unfortunately I never got to meet her, or even communicate with her. She really is missed.
  3. Excuse me, I am not making any of this up. Following the success of "Quiz Kids" produced in the Mid West, a rival show titled "Whiz Kids" was created in NYC. Perhaps you have better inside information than an active child actor agent and a leading costume designer?
  4. Here is attached the original Rolling Stone cover photo of Alicia Silverstone. Also, here is a screen capture from the series "Unhappily Ever After" that made a star of Nikki Cox, which ran from 1995 until 1999. I believe this episode was from one of the last two seasons. Nikki's character had pledged a sorority, and as hazing she had to wear an infantilist costume. Although by then my sister Missy was the costume designer on a hit series on a different network, Missy was hired to design all the sorority big baby girl costumes worn by Nikki and some other attractive actresses.
  5. Yes, after watching this clip, I am sure the actress playing Michelle was wearing what was then a state of the art toddler large disposable. Going back to the early days of the movie business circa 1910, continuing from the early days of network radio circa 1932 and so on into live TV, then filmed TV and current feature movies, it is standard practice to diaper all young performers when the character or costume will allow this. Even in early silent films it cost a relative fortune to delay filming while a child went potty. Into the era of sound movies, costumes for children were loose, so even a pinned cloth diaper could be easily hidden. when the first molded latex stretchy Playtex Baby Pants reached the market late in 1937 diapering young performers became even more common. In live stage shows, especially on Broadway in the late 1930's when there were child actors extra costumers were part of the crew to deal with diapers. In radio from NYC and Hollywood prior to and during WWII, even kids as old as 12 often were diapered. Many professionals in Hollywood have told me all about this. My husband Don Davis was 4yo when he broke into NYC network radio in 1936. He had been toilet trained since he was 2 and never wet in school, yet the condition of hiring hm as a child actor was that he be diapered. His granny went with him on jobs and she did the diapering. All the other kid actors also were diapered. Early in 1936 Don appeared in the first industrial sales film made to introduce the PlayTex stretchy Baby Pants. Although don played the older prother, and appeared to be wearing shorts, in fact under those he wore a single pinned Curity gauze diaper and PlayTex panties. Two moms were shown discussing the benefits of waterproof coverings that could ventilate, while one changed a young baby. Funny, the Hayes/Breen Production Code would not let a mainstream show a scene of a baby being changed in a realistic way then or until it was reworked after 1972. When Don got too old to play little kids on radio, he joined the regular cast of "Whiz Kids" a sort of early quizz show. The kids ranged from 8 to 14. All, except the oldest 14yo boy, were diapered. Radio was live, no do-overs for potty breaks! One of my current best gal pals is also an active big baby girl. Now she is a financial planner, but as a little kid she broke into acting on TV series. Her dad was a major producer and her mom was and still is a leading agent for child actors. That agent/mom can discuss the fine points of disposable diapers as effectively as an ABDL I have met. My pal was featured, regular or recurring on several hit series until she was 19. Even then the only times she was on set withou a diaper was if she was supposed to be in a bikini. My youngest sister Missy started out after a year of community college as a costumer for TV series, then became a costume designer. She has designed many of the AB scenes on TV, getting called in special. She also designed for a series that ran 7 years. The first season the young cast was supposed to be 16, but one actress was actually only 14 and had a wetting problem. All her costumes were designed to hide her diaper, and they avoided showing her in bikinis, allowing extra time so she could use the toilet and having several dry identical binikis on hand just in case. Will we ever know if the character of "Michelle" was supposed to have delayed toilet learning or bedwetting? Maybe someone can tell us? It is a very safe bet the actress did wear a diaper. In this clip the director, script supervisor, director of photography and editor either did not notice the diaper was revealed, or just liked the take and did not care, assuming at the time the public could not easily do a freeze frame. They did not anticipate DVD and streaming to hard drive. Does anyone remember the photo of Alicia Silverstone on the cover of "Rolling Stone"? She looks glum wearing a pink romper and top hat. Inside the interview continues with more infantilist photos. It is possible she had a hidden diaper. Yes, there were some versions PhotoShopped adding an obvious diaper. Shortly after Alicia made many talks at fund raisers for childhood incontinence charities in which she admitted being a bedwetter until she was in her mid 20's. She might seldom smile, but she has guts! Happy New Year, Angela
  6. It stands to reason the diaper in Photo 1 is European, since that electrical outlet behind the model is from there.
  7. Oh yes, we have several decorated real baby diaper pails. I am sure those could work for adult diapers. My husband/"Daddy Don" and I are so fortunate to have a decent home here in the Los Angeles area. When we built it in 1996, the master bedroom suite included an alcove we told the builder would be a home gym. At one end it has both a dishwasher and a compactor under the counter, along with a sink and refrigerator. Beside the compactor is room for a conventional plastic 13 gal trash container. Both of those units have a vent to the outside. Soild or wet disposables go into the compactor, which I think of as a powerful adult "Diadee Genie" The conventional trash container holds accumulated cloth diapers. Damp worn vinyl panties get washed in a plastic tub in the sink, and dried in this nursery alcove. Running along the adjacent wall is a counter with cabinets under, to store bulk diaper supplies. Above the counter are some cabinets and a custom-built diaper stacker system, to keep a selection of cloth and disposables very handy. My changing table appears to outsiders to be a massage table, with safety side rails that can lower. A drawer with wipes, lotion, powder and pins pulls out convenient to either me or when I am lucky Daddy Don.
  8. Remember "Rubber Duckies" made in Santa Barbara, CA USA? Their first product was a pull-on panty made of a polyester fabric that stretched slightly and was rendered waterproof by a coating on the inside. By 1987 the R. Duck Company started making adult Rubber Duckies. About the same time they came out with a wrap, with a mesk liner so a standard cloth prefold would stay in place. The Duckie Wrap was waterproof and fastened with Velcro. By the time I got super active in AB, there was a major re-organization of R. Duck, with the infant products, including the Duckie Wrap, staying in Santa Barbara, and the adult panties, but never a wrap, moving to the Mid West. The R. Duck marketing folks told us the Wraps were perfected at the request of the diaper service industry. My kid sister Missy is a costume designer. She seriously looked into making adult wraps, at least for us, if not for mass production. A major difficulty was locating a waterproof fabric that would stretch and that could be sewn. With vinyl pull-on, the part that leaks the most is the side-seam. In production you can heat seal vinyl to itself. However, even thin vinyl does not stretch enough to be an ideal wrap. By 1991 even R. Duck was having a major quality-control problem with their coated fabric. The coating came off.
  9. From 1990 until 2005 I was in frequent contact with the marketing departments of P&G, Kimberly Clark and PaperPak Corp. Since 1981 I have purchased a whole lot of Attends, Depend, Pampers, Huggies and GoodNites. For many years I was pleading for tape-on diapers to fit toddlers/kids over 40 pounds. Children grow larger at younger ages today than years back, and toilet learning also seems to be slower. First they did produce Size 5 and then Size 6 for most toddler brands and styles. Long after all those companies stopped contacting me, P&G did bring out the Size 7 Pampers Cruisers. Nobody will tell me the sales volume of Size 7, but I do notice the supermarkets do not give them much shelf space. That strongly suggests Size 6 are generally big enough. What I kept trying to explain from a parenting standpoint is when a child is still diapered, you need more than one style, something really stretchy like Cruisers when the kids is active, and something more absorbent for sleeping, like Huggies OverNites. Excuse me, but as much as I love KCC for marketing GoodNites as discreet for older kids, the problem is they leak so much. I am not sure sleep-overs are a major problem. Most of the time the older kids is sleeping at home. You would think a smaller version of Depend Adjustable would be available, although I know a lot of kids who learn to put on their own tape-on diapers by age 5. In bed tape-on almost always leak less than pull-up. When a kid can work the tabs, they are equal to pull-ups. Bambino seems to be the answer for adults wanting a babyish disposable. No way can manufacturers stop and start a production line for custom orders. As a gal who really liked Attends the first time I needed them back when they were a P&G brand, I was really sad that the brand was sold to PaperPak. They are wonderful people, but had no way to retain supermarket shelf space. We will never know why P&G got out of the adult diaper business. Their timing was bad, because they got out just as that segment took off. At least PaperPak made good use of the Attends inventions, vastly improving their entire line of institutional and generic disposables. Attends seem to be slowly getting some shelf space, and each year more firms sell them on-line. When Depend gave up keeping their slip-in and belted pads stocked in supermarkets, several women wetters I know in person took drastic action. Some moms noticed that Size 3 and 4 of many toddler disposables were very similar to the better slip-in pads. All we needed to do was cut off the back tabs. There are many benefits. Toddler diapers cost way less and tend to absorb more. I find a Size 4 Cruiser significantly more comfy than the best adult slip-in. While I have never worried who cares when I buy diapers, younger women, even older teen gals who wet, say that nobody pays attention when they but toddler diapers. They could be the babysitter or mommy. You do not need to plan so far in advance, since most places there are 24/7 supermarkets selling some selection of toddler disposables.
  10. There could be many reasons why adult diaper sites are familiar with female attorneys. I have been contributing to the incontinence and ABDL communities since 1991. It is no secret that I needed diapers long before I started pre-law and have needed diapers constantly since then. Several other lawyers read my posts and shared that they also have bladder control issues. Going back to when I was a teenager who wet her bed and wore diapers, my folks went out of their way to introduce me to successful women who wet. Mom and her sisters not only took care of their families, they had full-time jobs as secretaries, bookkeepers and bankers. Before I started writing for DPF there was a high-profile big baby named Jenny, who shared that she was a nurse. One of the first fan letters I received from my Montel Williams episode was from a female emergency room surgeon who always wears diapers. Diapers are familiar to nearly all women. Unfortunately for reasons I sure do not understand, many diapered women do not discuss this on-line. Just by way of example, my youngest sister, Missy, wets more than I do. Missy is a movie and TV costume designer, so she has a much larger selection of adorable AB outfits then me. Missy has looked over my shoulder when I have written about relaxing as an AB, yet Missy will not go on-line herself to share about this. Our Mom still works as an office manager, so is fully computer savy. Mom wears Attends to work. She does not ever play as an AB herself, but has indulged Missy and me when she is around as we play big baby. Mom does not want to discuss this with outsiders, although she knows nothing bad has ever happened to me because I am openly AB. To me it is sad that such a high percentage of really marvelous diaper women are not willing to be supportive of other incontinent, AB and DL people. At an AB party recently a big baby boy said he dreams about women lawyers wearing diapers because to him that makes them less terrifying. Do I look mean?
  11. Thanks to all of you for the generous welcome. This is a happy place.
  12. There used to be a popular saying about kids who were slow to toilet train: "Nobody ever started college in diapers!" All I can say is that when I left home for an East Coast university the fall of 1981, I wore a disposable brief under my skirt on the plane. My bladder had always been small even compared to other girls, but I had been considered dry since before I could remember. Then when I was 12 and reached puberty, I started wetting when sleeping. In our family that was expected, given my granny, mom, some aunts and older sister all wet. Actually I considered myself lucky that during middle and high school I did not need to wear for classes. My family did not use disposables. We were taught there was nothing shamefull about needing diapers, yet it is polite to shield outsiders from wetting to the extent possible. Mom's suggestion was to invite even casual friends to the house, where it was no secret that many of us needed to wear at least at night. Girls sleeping over always saw me in pinned cloth diapers. Some even asked to try diapers for themselves. I never asked these friends to keep my diapers a secret. Maybe that was why I hardly ever was teased. For college my folks realized it would not be practical for me to store, wash and dry cloth diapers. It was a huge deal in the family when I was allowed to buy my first disposables and practice changing them my last 2 weeks at home. College for me was something super serious. I had been accepted and granted a full scholarship at a well-respected university in Upstate New York as a pre-law major. At first I thought it wonderful my roommate did not object. Within a few days she had borrowed a diaper after her second kegger, having wet following her first. By the end of our first month she begged for a diaper while dressing for parties. Soon she realized disposables cost money. She willingly paid for so many diapers I started saving some cash. Most classes were less than an hour, so I did not need to wear. When I started taking classes lasting longer, I simply wore under my full skirt. Other gals must have seen me changing in ladies rooms. For graduation I wore under my gown. Another law school accepted me, so I moved East some more. Lectures were long, so I broke down and planned on wearing every week day. My roommate at law school hardly ever went to parties, and did not wear to bed, but always to class. Neither of us made an effort to hide our bags of diapers in our dorm room. Today law school seems like a lifetime ago. I have been happily married since 1991 and a partner in my law firm since 1993. Clients do not ask, and I do not tell. The fact is I have worn 24/7 over 20 years. Personally I think it would be far more embarrassing to be caught in wet stained clothing than to be seen discreetly wearing a diaper.
  13. Ever since I started to lose my bladder control, I have found my diaper is more comfy when slightly damp, so long as my waterproof layer keep it warm. In really hot weather my own sweat irritates me and causes rash. I find fresh urine neutralizes sweat. The limiting factor is that at some point urine gets stale, forms ammonia and that can really cause rash. So, for me only so much capacity is more than enough. I rarely need an emergency change because my diaper is soaked. Certainly I enjoy pinned gauze diapers the most, worn with soft, stretchy vinyl panties. Colorful diapers and panties can be adorable. I often have worn decorated diapers, but I must admit it is so much easier to wash plain white gauze diapers. Unless I look in a mirror I cn't see my diapers and panties, so once I am wearing them the color means less to me.
  14. Let us all have a Happy 2008! Since I am bladder incontinent, I already wear some kind of diaper 24/7. Days when I must function like a responsible adult, most often I use slip-in disposable pads. For special events, such as a long car or airplane ride, I do use conventional disposable diapers. At home I almost always wear pinned gauze diapers to bed, and as much as possible before and after bed. So, my 2008 goal is to find ways to wear gause diapers a larger percentage of the time. Treating people with increased kindness and empathy is my real goal for 2008.
  15. Good eye, Jenny & Gary! Minutes ago I figured out how to show some of my interests in my profile and use a picture of me as my avatar. Just in case anyone wants to see this picture (212#15) larger and in better resolution, I am attaching it here. Also here is a larger copy of my profile picture (207#20) Anticipating questions, here are some details about the pictures: I am napping while cuddling my long-time companion, a koala named Eukie. He was a gift from my family when I was 11. Eukie has been with me constantly since then. Although you can't see it in this photo Eukie wears a pale blue knit sweater my youngest sister Missy made for him shortly before I moved to pre-law college back East in 1981. Missy did not want Eukie catching cold. The weekend before this picture was taken Missy made me the baby top I am wearing, with the puffy sleeves. That is a 1991 vintage MAM pacifier with a clear silicon orthodontic nipple. Those sturdy vinyl panties were classic Pro-Health I received shortly before a fire melted all their inventory. I needed a nurser of milk as soon as I got home from the office, before taking off my big girl suit or even changing my damp didee. That is a classic 8oz clear polycarbonate plastic straight bottle with a white ring and a 1991 vintage PUR clear silicon nipple. The milk was lo-fat. The blouse and jacket were from Nordstrom. My husband "Daddy" Don claims inside I have not changed since we fell in love in May 1991. Perhaps today I appear the same as back in the period from the summer of 1991 until June of 1993 when the majority of my big baby girl photos were taken. By then a whole lot of nice people had seen me talking about adult baby play on The Montel Williams Show and demonstrating my ways of relaxing after work in two videos Don and I produced, which were distributed by DPF. When we met Don still owned a large studio building in Hollywood. One of our first projects as a couple was clearing out one large room so we could decorate it was my personal PlaySpace. For a couple of years a set of Norman strobes were permanently hung in PlaySpace, so Don could take my pictures when I was in the mood. By the summer of 1993 we moved to a new home, so driving to PlaySpace was not very convenient. Many of the larger toys did move to our new house, but we also donated all the new toys to children's charities. Our interests changed and we stopped taking new photos. What have we been doing since 1993? Oh, many, many things. Eventually I did give up my monthly DPF column, in 2000 I think. Don was retired when we met, but days after we appeared on Montel he received a generous offer to unretire. At last this February Don retired again for the last time! We have managed to do a lot of traveling. Generally my health has been fine. None of the doctors has figured out a way to help me regain bladder control. Don needed prostate surgery this June to deal with cancer. That went much better than we hoped. Almost all his bladder control is back.
  16. Let me add a huge Welcome. I am also new here. This seems a fun place with lots of nice friends.
  17. Merry Christmas everyone, AB, DL and Incontinent. What we have in common, namely wetting, is more important than any differences in the way we think of diapers and role playing. A few minutes ago in the Just Diapers section, on the "What I wear to bed?" topic I posted a message explaining how I fold and pin my gauze diapers for bed. To make my concept easier to understand, I attached three photos. Please let me know if this helps you. Also, I fixed my profile to include a photo of me suckling a bottle. There was no place for my main e-mail, but the system let me show that as my website URL. Maybe the administrator would even let me show my e-mail in messages. Also, many thanks not only to my long time buddies who have welcomed me on the site, but to others who have remembered my e-mail and sent me messages this weekend. LUVs to you all, along with Huggies. Be Pampered and happy in 2008!
  18. Let me explain that I was born in 1964, so I started off in cloth diapers with separate vinyl panties. My family did not believe in disposables. I do not remember before I was toilet trained, but did get to see my three younger siblings. Mom tells me she always diapered the same way, so I am sure she bought the traditional Curity flat gauze 21x40 diapers in bulk. Mom also bought Gerber vinyl pants, for infants to toddler in local stores, and for bigger kids from the factory direct. From age 2 to reaching puberty, I was dry. Shortly after puberty I started to lose bladder control, especially when sleeping. Mom taught me how to combine enough of the flat gauze diapers to fit me, and pin the diaper myself. To make the process easier, Mom did sew 2 of the diapers side to side, to make a 40" square, that reduced to about 36" after shrinking. To soaked enough, I folded 1 or 2 more gauze diapers, positioned in my crotch area. Today I buy 36" square flat 2 ply gauze diapers from ADC, which shrink to 32" square, big enough for me. I fold some back to make the length correct, then fold the sides to taper, so the back is wide. For years I have used Gerber infant Birdseye pre-folds as the soakers, 1 or 2 or even 3. For the photos I moved a plastic changing pad down near the floor, but normally I put it on a changing table like an over-wide massage table. Photo One (213#22) shows me setting up the combined diaper, with me kneeling on the far left side. I hope you can see the soaker set sort of in the middle. Photo Two (213#34) shows me starting to get in the correct position. I am holding a pair of diaper pins in my mouth, so I am careful to wash and rinse those very well. I find it easier if I start off sort of sitting. The plastic changing pad allows the gauze diaper to slide under me easier. As shown it still needs to slide to my right side somewhat. Then I lay down to hold everything positioned until I can pin it snug. Photo Three (214#12a) shows the left side already pinned. I am tugging the right side snug and am pinning it. As I pull my Kins soft V1300 vinyl panties in place, I grip them at the back of the leg holes. This reduces strain on the panties, and also ensures the cloth on the back of my thighs is tucked inside the panties. The final step is to tuck the top of the panties beyond the diaper into the diaper at the waist.
  19. Wow, so many long-time friends. My Hotmail e-mail addy has not changed since 1998. Don and I still have the same PO Box. In November Don tried to place an order with DPF, although there is a message on that site saying they were no longer taking orders. What happened was that Don phoned DPF and got Tommy on the line. Tommy spoke about the old days and asked don to place the order on-line. By the time Don placed the order he got a call from Mark, explaing that Tommy was not healthy and did not always remember they had no way to fill orders. Since I read all these replies, I have tried to think back to the last time I wrote my monthly column for DPF. It must have been after 2000, but I am not sure. That was a spell when I had no spare time. Now I will have to look around the house for copies of the 2 videos we made for DPF. Who would have guessed anyone would remember. We appeared on the Montel Williams Show on January 23, 1992. One of the junior producers had worked for Don years before. She phoned us on a Friday evening, saying Montel really wanted to devote an episode to adult babies. Dee and Gene Smith wanted to fly in from the Mid-West, but would not appear in costume. She begged me to be there. We really wanted to spend some time with Dee and Gene. By coincidence they wanted to tape the following Monday, February 10, when both Don and I had scheduled a vacation day. To maximize our visit with Dee and Gene we decided to check into the hotel at our own expense. Then things got very complicated, because Feb 10, 1992 was the start of such heavy rain it was called the LA Flood. Freeways closed, as did the airport for several hours. We only discovered that when we reached the hotel. Montel's staff had left us a message they were forced to cancel the other 4 episodes scheduled to tape that day because buses could not bring any audience. However, because Montel had already paid to fly in Dee & Gene, plus 2 male AB from Seattle, they were going to find a way to tape us even if it took all night. Eventually Dee and Gene did reach the hotel, 3 hours late, so our visit was short. Montel wanted to send the limo for us early, since nobody knew how long it would take to get around flooded streets. The CBS TV City Studios were mostly dark when the limo got there. What a mess, the main electricity had failed. All of us had to walk up several flights to the dressing rooms, then from there to hair and makeup. Dee and Gene wanted wigs. Don did not ask for even any makeup. They gave me a silly black wig. Everyone said how much they liked my blue cowgirl dress. Either they did not notice or were in denial that I was wearing an obvious cloth diaper and lace panties over my vinyl panties. Word from the second limo was that the two guys from Seattle still had not landed. The crew took a long meal break. In the hall between our dressing room and Dee & Gene Montel provided a tray of snacks. They wanted me to go to another set so they could pre-tape me. Apparently the psychologist they had booked could not get past a flood, which was a problem. Lucky for them Dr. Jim Gordon was doing a news show and agreed to hang around. So we all talked for hours, waiting, and waiting. I drank enough milk and water I needed a change, which totally surprised the staff. They assumed I was kidding about being incontinent. At last the Seattle guys arrived. We were led to the set, a couple of flights below the dressing rooms, with the elevators still out of action. Emergency power provided some studio lights and let the technical equipment run. They were told real electricity would be back in 30 minutes, but so far the audience consisted of three homeless folks. Our alert junior producer formed a cunning plan. She rounded up every CBS employee to pretend to be our audience! It should have worked. Unfortunately some of the "audience" were part of the Montel crew. They needed to stop tape every commercial, so for example, makeup could be refreshed. Then there would be confusion since the crew could never remember where they had been sitting. Got that solved when one of the homeless went completely nuts. She was marched out back to the rain, but 15 minutes had to be taped again. Normally it takes an hour to tape an episode, plus about 15 minutes before to get everyone into the correct chair. We sat down at 8PM and they did not finish taping until 11:55PM, to the delight of the crew. They got golden time. No, not golden shower. It is extra pay after so many hours. Originally our episode was to show in late March, but since they lost almost a week of shows they had to rush us ahead. Still, Montel was thrilled with the ratings and positive reaction from the handfull of stations broadcasting the show that early in its history. We were repeated several times. They used clips for years doing specials. One reason I searched for Daily Diapers was that last week I got a handful of fan mail from Montel's staff, after all those years. Someone mentioned this site with the URL. In the weeks after the show was broadcast, I got a ton of mail. The result was we made several friends we still see frequently, including former Montel staff members. Not long after we taped Montel moved to another city.
  20. Perhaps I should have started posting here, but I found the Polls Forum first, and shared while answering the questions. I was born in July 1964 near Los Angeles, California. My original toilet training was perhaps faster than average, but certainly gentle. I do not remember diapers as a toddler. However, early on I learned that there is a genetic defect in my family causing the women to lose some or all bladder control after puberty. Granny and Mom made no secret they needed diapers, as did Mom's sisters. sure enough my oldest sister started wetting her bed when she was 12. A few years later it happened to me. My family is loving and there was no shame to diapers. When we went on car trips of exciting adventures, Mom diapered us, even when we were 10 and 11. After I graduated from law school, passed the Calif Bar and started working as an attorney, I learned Adult Baby games was a nice way to cope with being in diapers 24/7 from my incontinence. Supsequently I met an older man who totally facilitates my needs and loves me unconditionally. We have been married since late summer of 1991. When home I really prefer pinned cotton gauze diapers with soft vinyl panties. Days and when we have outsiders as visitors I wear more discreet disposable diapers or slip-in pads. In addition to my diapers, we have an adult changing table as well as my play-pen with a reinforced floor. My collection of big baby outfits is extensive. Almost always I sleep in a big baby outfit. My favorite pacifier is the UltiMAM Orthodontic with clear silicon nipple. For nursing bottles I love clear silicon nipples, the firmer the better. Most of my bottles are clear plastic, some angled. My sexual turn-on is being spanked.
  21. How delightful reading all the previous answers to this poll. Up to now I did not realize it was okay for me to mention the specific styles and brands I wear. Okay, now I can get specific. Early in 1991, a couple of weeks after my kid sister told me she was using adult baby play to cope with her incontinence, suggesting I consider doing the same, I discovered an article in Fetish Times about Diaper Pail Friends (DPF) The same issue had a story about a big baby girl reprinted from "The Play Pen" published by Infantae Press. Right away I wrote to both those organizations. I might not have been the first born-that-way gal to join DPF, but I soon became super active, writing a column for several years. When I was growing up my Mom only bought Curity 21x40" flat gauze diapers. Those could be folded in many ways to accomodate growing children. Mom would sew 2 or 3 of those together to make gauze diapers big enough to fit teens and adults. At the time Gerber still owned the vinyl pants factor in Three Oaks that makes adult pants, now called VIP. That is where Mom ordered our many sizes of panties. In 1981 when I left home for a university dorm Mom still bought from those firms, but once I returned to Los Angeles in 1989 Curity was in the process of selling out to Gerber, who wanted out of the adult vinyl pants business. No worries for me because DPF sold a really great gauze prefold they called the baby heaven style 101. I still have a few left, but unfortunately in 2006 Tommy who started DPF had enough old-age issues they stopped taking orders. Back in 1991 I had a long period when I adored Rubber Ducky panties, until they had severe quality control issues. I also loved Pro-Health colorfull vinyl panties, until the fire late in 1991 that melted the Pro-Health factory. Lucky for me I live in Los angeles and Gary Manufacturing is in San Diego. A gal I knew who lived a couple of miles from Gary designed a wonderful style of plastic panties, with seriously forward-facing leg holes. Gary custom made them for her, which she sold as Crissy's Creations. Bummer she divorced her husband in June 1994, thus ending that venture. Then Jensen in Whittier became a Gary dealer, selling the Crissy-style panties, until they gave up the business. For years I knew about the super reputation of Babykins in Canada, who have their adult Kins department. I am not a fan of flannel diapers, so I have only tried their Velcro-fastening ones a few times. When Jensen went out of business I started buying Kins style V1300 soft thin vinyl pull-on panties. Those leg holes do not face forward, but as you wear them they stretch so that soon they fit like they are custom made. Take decent sensible care of Kins vinyl panties and they last a long time. For years I have used off-the-shelf Gerber Birdseye toddler pre-folds as soakers and utility towels in my own adult nursery. With my stash of DPF prefolds wearing out, I discovered none of the cloth diapers are similar, using non-woven Kodafil as the soaker like Gerber does. ACD had been recommended by some friends. I talked to them about gauze diapers. They do make prefolds, but with terry soakers. They do offer 36" square gauze diapers in double and 4x weight. I bought 2 as a sample and washed them several times to be sure they shrunk. With a little experimentation I found a way to fold those with 1, 2 or even 3 Gerber prefolds. Those feel so much like the diapers my Mom made for decades. Lucky for me my husband and I made good friends with sales reps in Los Angeles for both Gerber infant garments and The First Years. This way I know when a shipment of Birdseye prefolds is available. They last a long time but not forever. In 1991 I had become a major fan of The First Years style 3200 diaper pins. These are different from most in that the stainless wire is a bit heavier and the pin is slightly longer, with a generously large head. I find these pins work just fine with adult gauze diapers, causing a lot less damage than bigger blanket pins sold at high prices to the AB world. Getting word the 3200 was to be discontinued, I managed to buy a case of 240 cards or 4 each, which should last me the rest of my life. A big baby needs more than just diapers and water-proof panties. We need outfits. I find it is a lot more comfy to sleep with something covering my vinyl panties. Up to the summer of 1992 a nice lady worked closely with my friends Don and Debbie Stanley designing nice AB garments. In Fenruary 1992 I wore one of her AB cowgirl dresses on an early episode on Montel Williams, with my plastic panties showing under the hem. It took so long to tape the segment I really wet, and only slightly stained the chair. Perhaps the most important garment Debbie designed was what we all call the "Baby Kellie" The top is babydoll length, short enough the lower portion of a diaper and panties shows. A Baby Kellie outfit includes a cloth cover for the plastic panties made to match or at least coordinate with the top. These have really gentle elastic at the waist and legs. The cut is generous enough the plastic panties do not rub against the inside of your upper thighs. The top has either a lap or peasant collar, and puffy sleeves just sort of the elbows. In 1993 another friend from Mountain View designed what I think of as the ultimate big baby Onesies. Technically "Onesies" is a Gerber trademark, so they get pissy when we use the term. We are supposed to call these body suits. The difference to these designs is that the colors are vivid and often mixed up, so the back is a different color than the front. Also the vital thing is that the back crotch flap is long enough it snaps just below the waist, not in the middle of the crotch. That not only is far more comfy, it makes it ever so much easier to change yourself. MY husband/Daddy has less trouble snapping this after a change. I am not sure if these are available for sale. My kid sister makes them for the two of us. Probably dentists do not approve of adults using pacifiers. Having tried many, long ago I decided the UltiMAM with a clear silicon orthodontic nipple is best for me. I loved the PUR clear silicon nipples but they were discontinued in 1996. I find nearly all the other brands of nipples slightly soft or flacid for my taste. I also prefer clear plastic nurser bottles, especially the angled style.

    Who Are You?

I answered yes to many of these questions. Although I sometimes play "Mommy" I do not see any conflict with my relaxing as an adult big baby girl. A whole bunch of urologists, gynecologists and other distinguished medical specialists confirm I am medically bladder incontinent, meaning I am both a pants and bedwetter. It is only my 24/7 wearing of diapers that protects my bed and prevents stains showing on my adult day clothing. Any number of my friends, my kid sister and especially my loving husband will assure you I always need a good spanking. Fair is fair, so when my kid sister comes over to our house, or I go visit her, sooner rather than later we will change the other's diaper. Snacks will include a baby bottle or two, filled with milk, juice or an adult formula (think strawberry shake that is thin and warm). Whichever of us acts like a brat gets her bottom spanked, or at least smacks on the diaper. Perhaps once a week several couples living near us get together for a big baby brunch and afternoon. Stories are read, hissy fits managed, tantrums spanked and wet diapers get changed. Good times for one and all. Today we met at 9:15AM and while I am answering these polls some of our friends are still napping while working pacifiers and wetting their diapers.
  23. Although I was seldom punished growing up, and never spanked, I became hooked on spanking as sexy from reading romance novels. That was before I reached puberty. It is no secret I began to wet my bed after puberty, so I wore cloth diapers when sleeping. Still, I did not discover the joys of big baby games until I was about 27. Instead, I began participating in spanking for pleasure parties when I was still in high school. My timing had to be perfect, since I was attending those parties without a diaper. A few times I dribbled on the lap of my disciplinarian, who just thought I was excited. While I was away at law school my youngest sister, also incontinent, discovered the joys of being a big baby. When she told me I nearly giggled, but after she showed me an adorable ruffled dress she made for herself, I started to see the benefits. Lucky for her the slightly older guy she fell in love with facilitated her big baby side. They have been happily married 21 years. She has an extensive collection of AB outfits, a changing table and adult crib. The guy I married at age 27 also facilitates my own big baby side. We do not have a crib my size, but our changing table gets lots of use, was does my play-pen with a reinforced floor. For sure I agree with my parents that it is not necessary to spank kids. However, big baby play is based on fantasy. So, if I play like a big baby brat, I get spanked. Over my husband's lap is the most fun. The wooden hairbrush to me is anti-erotic, but supple straps and leather paddles really turn me on, even when I am playing big baby. When our scenario is more adult I get turned-on even faster. Swinging and group sex is outside my limits, which could be my loss. However my husband and I often get together with my kid sister, her husband and some other local couples into both spanking for pleasure and big baby games. We hardly consider this sexy, but I suspect outsiders would think it unusual, maybe even perverse. The old saying is what is kinky good fun to me is perverse fetish to someone else with a narrow mind.
  24. After answering the poll questions I read all the posts and especially loved the sharing of Wet Staci. I have absolutely no independent memory of my own toilet training, but I was aware of my next two younger siblings and paid close attention when our youngest sister (almost 6 years younger than me) was growing up. When I asked Mom told me she remembers me being dry at 23 months during the day, and at 26 months in bed. For years I took pride in being dry, although I knew my bladder was small. Mom explained this discreetly to my teachers and I just was carefull to use the toilet often. Growing up I was taught there was a high probability I would have bladder control difficulties after I reached puberty. Granny and Mom never made a secret they needed diapers, as did both of Mom's sisters. Sure enough eventually my oldest sister started wetting her bed and was returned to diapers. Since our family never considered wearing a diaper to be shamefull, and Dad got frustrated because us kids had tiny bladders, it became tradition for car trips over an hour and for exciting adventures, all of us would be diapered. Mom and my aunts did not believe in disposables, so we got used to riding in hot cars wearing pinned gauze Curity diapers, Gerber vinyl panties inside jeans or dresses. Such trips were not frequent enough it was considered necessary to teach us to change ourselves, which explains why I voted that my Mom and oldest sister changed my diaper several times when I was 12. Once I reached puberty and started wetting my bed, I was taught to change myself. Even before that I had changed my two younger sisters during trips. I have been married happily since 1991. Just for fun last night my husband changed me for bed, although generally I do so myself. Then he also changed me again before dawn today when he felt I was soaked. Fortunately when I was in junior high and high school I did not need diapers during the school day. Yet I was not shy going on sleep-overs. Even if Mom knew the hostess I also explained I would bring my own waterproof sheet, plus diapers and vinyl panties. I only got a little kidding. Sometimes other girls were so fascinated they asked to be diapered when sleeping at my house. For college I did start wearing disposables since washing gauze diapers there was not practical. Far from being teased, lots of my college friends would borrow disposable diapers from me. Some of those were guys. We all know what happends after a kegger. Heck, my roomie did like me and wore a disposable to the keggers!
  25. I was born a girl and have always considered myself to be female. For over 9 years I had the same quality bladder control as did any girl in my class. Then with puberty I started losing bladder control. Most of the time I think of myself as a responsible adult woman and dress accordingly. These days slip-in disposable pads are so effective outsiders do not notice. When I relax I baby-out. Of course I prefer the comfort of pinned cotton gauze diapers worn with separate soft vinyl panties. At home most nights I go to bed wearing some type of big baby girl outfit over my diaper. Choice is a function of weather and my mood. If it is really hot I might only wear a babydoll top leaving my vinyl panties uncovered. Morse often I cover my vinyl panties with loose cloth panties that coordinate with my babydoll top to constitute a "Baby Kellie Set" In moderate weather I like Onesies, but in winter this cold I love footed blanket sleepers with a long zipper so changing is easy. When I was a dry actual girl I thought boys had more fun. Now that I am an adult, I am sure I have the best of both worlds. At work I am as successful as the men in my profession, but when it is time to relax as a big baby, clearly I get away with so much more as a girl! Sometimes I do wear short-alls or over-alls, very much like I see real toddlers wearing. I make no attempt to look like a boy.
