If you can make it a bit south, Lifestyles Emporium does allow people into its showroom by appointment, if I recall correctly, and if they're still open. That's the only reasonable AB/DL friendly place that I really found in the years that I lived in the Bay Area. On the upside, there are several stores that carry off-brands of diapers, at least. There are also leather shops in pretty much every major city in the area. Not sure if that's what you're looking for.

*nods* That's pretty much what I was curious about. Even the Bambino/Secure smalls might be way too big for you. A youth (such as the Attends Youth) or cloth diaper might really be your only choice.

I'm going to throw my chips behind Repaid's, here. Secure X-plus and Bambino have been the way for me to go, thus far. It would help in giving advice, perhaps, if you were to tell us how large you are, Pollyanna.

It doesn't particularly matter to me, at the moment. As long as they aren't selling smalls, I cannot purchase from them. *sigh*

So... I tracked down the series... and that is... really, really disturbing to me. Cannibalism. Various penetration. Golden showers. People using other peoples'... discharge for sustenance... Surgically attached genitalia, and a lot of even more disturbing stuff. The diapers are in episode 2.

Well I used to buy from Lifestyles Emporium, which made some of my favorite American cloth diapers. That's all I can offer.

Too bad, really. I'd like to find a reliable way of seeing what they have to offer. There's only one American diaper maker that I've ever seen that has anything close to the reputed quality that I've seen in some of the products, in my eyes.

Gee. That was -really- sensible. You haven't actually spent any time in CA, have you? The cities are either apathetic or liberal. The countryside, which, in California, is massive, is actually quite conservative. Berkeley, actually, as a good example, is almost half very, very conservative and that very, very conservative half is absolutely fed up with the antics (and that's a scarily accurate word, due to the disgusting trendiness of their dittoheaded protests) of the college and surrounding community. Frankly, those of us native Californians who are levelheaded know more about it than you do. And, yes, that was a stab at your credibility, unlike the person who you told to drop it and wasn't pointing out your lack of credibility but instead the lack of credibility of the current regime. Thing is that there is debate and argument (positive), and then there is this (as in this thread). This is not debate any more than watching some angry person scream at a wall and berate it for twenty minutes is debate.

Meh. I've had level-headed political debates aplenty. I was just surprised to find that the one here was anything but. You'd think that folks would realize that discussing things like that just breeds bad blood.

It's mostly the blatant insults and complete disregard and contempt for any opinion which is in the least disagreement. It's also the rumor-mongering, the vehement slurs, and the general ignorant hatred. Take your pick. Pretty much every post for the last six pages (with a few exceptions. Very few) is full of both.
