  4. I'm pretty sure we have all had accidents in public before. Whether we are incontinent, in special ed, or have any sorts of issues. Even the kids who are "normal" have accidents. So, I kinda have to read that and laugh. What does the principal plan to do? Arrest every kid who has an accident, a urinary tract infection, nervous condition...IS JUST A PLAIN KID?! If she's had this reaction before to this Mr.Duck (or whatever his name is) then I definitely think its an involuntary action. What a very silly lawsuit...only in America can these sorts of things even be CONSIDERED in a court of law. I do believe it is a mockery of our judicial system to be wasting time on a case like this when there are CRIMINALS and SEX OFFENDERS who should be given some harsher punishments.
  5. Ruling out any psychological problems and/or physical problems...I'd say if you are a healthy person it is probably just stress. I bet those professors with all their homework and dumb exams have got you all worked up. Maybe buying a mattress pad for that futon might be a good idea in case of any future accidents so that the pee doesn't get into the fluff of the mattress. If the futon has a cover, definitely wash that. If its an ongoing problem you might wanna visit the doctor or the student health center make sure it isn't any internal issues Good Luck!

  12. Wow I like your writing style edokat! Very entertaining and I can totally see the events happening right before my eyes you're a good writer I'm glad you got the courage to get those diapers and I hope you enjoy them to the max! Don't worry too much about when you gotta buy new ones...if anyone asks (which they won't) you could always say "wow yeah my grandma is totally picky about the disposable diapers she wears she didn't like those poise ones" But I really think people could care less about what you're buying. I'm sure it'll get easier as time goes on. Welcome and I hope you meet a lot of nice and interesting people here. I hope to see you around the boards and maybe in the chatroom.
  13. Wow, male breastfeeding. I mean, I knew they had the right equipment for it and stuff...I've read about that before. However, I personally do find it a bit of an odd thing to think of a man breastfeeding. I wouldn't discriminate against a man that wanted to breastfeed, but I don't think I would be passing him on the street saying "oh look he's breastfeeding I remember when Johnny breastfed his son..." Furthermore, I don't know if society is exactly ready to handle such a thing. We have always had this image of a man as playing a certain role...and breastfeeder isn't exactly on the list. That was an action kind of reserved for a woman. I commend the brave men who undertake this for the right reasons of bonding with their child. If I were a man I don't think I'd be quite so brave. But you know, pretty soon their won't be many boundaries between what a man can do and a woman can do...I say some things should be done the old fashioned way. Breastfeeding is one of them. If it doesn't occur naturally in a man without pumping him full of stuff can it be said that it is a very normal thing to be undertaking? not to mention that it might have its medical drawbacks for both child and father. Not enough research on this topic thats for sure. As far as the topic of female breastfeeding, Babyfay...I do believe there was a topic about that on these boards not too long ago. I think breastfeeding a child and/or partner in an ANR relationship can be very beneficial to both parties. Breastfeeding is more than just the action of suckling on the breasts...it is an intense bonding experience that I don't think could be matched by anything else. Its a simple but intense action I don't know if there are really words to describe it. I think adult nursing relationships (ANR) are quite cool.
