I'm not dyslexic but there are many words I will never fail to misspell or leave letters out of, usually only on keyboard. On paper I spell OK, but no one can read it.... Also, Firefox has a built in spell checker for web forms (not sure if IE/Safari/Opera/Etc does, I just know that IE6- doesn't), which may be useful to some people who have difficulty spelling.

I think the big issue for most doctors would be the lawsuits if it turned out that it wasn't nearly as fun for the amputee/new incontinent person/etc as it was in their mind before the operation... Silicone horns can be removed, the tongues could be restitched, but it is difficult to sew back on an arm. It probably isn't that different to sex change surgery however as that would probably be difficult to reverse. However, it is possible to essentially live as the opposite gender, as most differences are hard to see (unless you were a girl who wanted to be a boy and happened to have enormous breasts...). it is less possible to live as an amputee while still actually having the appendage.

Some such devices exist, however, you do need to extract the energy eventually, otherwise you would violate the fundamental laws of physics. P=VI, not just I.

I don't think education has gotten worse, I just think priorities have changed. In the past, if you didn't know how long a rod was, you were screwed, Unless you happened to live near a library and have a couple of spare hours. Nowadays It is easy to find it from pretty much any computer, which are rather more common than libraries - and quicker too. I believe that knowing things is unimportant, but knowing how to find things out is exceedingly important. It is impossible to teach children everything they need to know to be successful in life, but you can teach them how to work it out for themselves.

You have more balls than I 'tis unfortunate that television shows are about ratings rather than reality - it just wouldn't do if you appeared as a normal sane adult. I would hazard to guess that most scholarly sources would conclude that unless your fetish starts affecting your normal life, it is harmless.

The thing they never asked was "is her hurting anyone?". He never really got the change to answer the 'normal' peoples' questions properly. Especially to things like that "why don't you go to the pub" remark, a good reply could have been: "Yes, I could go to the pub, get pissed and vomit into your mail slot at 1AM, or I could sit at home quietly and wear nappies, what hurts you more?

Electrical Power Engineer

I don't wear 24/7 in fact I don't wear very often My wife does know about it and she has no problem with me wearing - even around her, but I choose not to wear when my wife and daughter are around. I know this is my thing, and it's not fair to force my family to be part of it. Additionally, my daughter is quite young, but I realise that when she gets to school age things being 'normal' are quite important, I don't want to be responsible for her being ostracised. So my wearing remains my special thing. Such is life.

What sort of Electrical Engineering did you specialise in? I primarily do power systems studies myself (simulations and the like) but also High Voltage testing.
