😂 I was thinking something similar when I was reading it. I was like, this probably has no bearing on the plot, at least what the topic of the meeting is, or even who the people are. And other than some interactions and things, no one would ever know and the author doesn’t even have to make something up 😂

Mmm I still wonder what that meeting was really about. However it does sound like some sort of criminal organization. One that’s originated from the neighboring country. Since it’s reasonably assumed that it’s a criminal organization and that the Tweener was a delivery man for them. Then I am curious what this inventor would want from those groups that she couldn’t legally get her hands on. Is it drugs because she’s an addicted? Could it be special drugs to help her with a rare condition that she’s either keeping on the down low or the drugs that help the most are illegal. Or it could be different things needed for her inventions. Could also be a combination of everything. Fine, there’s too many possibilities and variables to really predict what’s going to happen 😂

Im going to pretend that this was the reason she failed the first maturosis test. I’m going to pretend that she always enjoyed messy diapers and didn’t discover it till she was being punished at the daycare before being adopted. Though Nana could also have either used hypnosis or other methods to get her to like messy diapers like that. But it would be a reason for her to have failed the maturosis test. She checked on Lilly just like she did the nest? I wonder if Carly just missed her going to Lilly’s room earlier to give her the promised “talk” and then “helped” her get dressed for bed before tucking her in? At least what Carly says implies she wasn’t in Lilly’s room long enough even for the talk Nana said she would have with Lilly before bed. What on earth is Carly up to and it sounds like she’s going to try and recruit Charlotte and Sebastian to help her. What evidence? Oh come on.

Very interesting. I am enjoying the bits of lore that’s been sprinkled in every chapter. Now let’s discuss my inner thoughts on where this might be heading. Let’s say for arguments sake that this Tweener is on the up and up. My feeling says things will not go as planned during the meeting the Tweener is going to. My guess is that it’s discovered that his Little isn’t even his and is actually a free Little. I feel that even an Amazon attempting this kind of farce would at least spend a few months in diapers and a very sore bottom. This kind of farce is lying, doing so for status and money, I could see this country viewing it as very dishonorable and would bring shame upon your family sort of way. My gut tells me that the Tweener isn’t on the up and up. Not that he’s a bad guy, but he’s not being completely honest about something. He’s either holding something back about the meeting or who Adam is looking for. My bet is on the meeting as his anxiety appears to stem from that. Another likely possibility is that the Tweener was paid to bring Adam (or more likely anyone asking about the inventor) to that house or to this meeting, using the knowledge about this so called house as bait. To what ends I do not know. But I could see someone as influential as the inventor (or whoever is controlling them) to have paid people in several key locations to keep an eye out for people asking too many questions. In any case, just like in a horror film. “ADAM, DON’T GO!” I never thought of that. And she probably is in diapers, regardless of size. But I already predicted she’d be in diapers regardless of anything else 😂

Okay, did not see this coming. Now, technically this could refer to Joomi having a mommy/daddy, no matter what her actual size is. Something is smelling and it’s not my diapers this time.

Omg I never even thought the lady was there waiting for an opportunity to kidnap a Little. Does that mean there is a reason she couldn’t adopt one legally? Or did she just not want to wait through all the red tape and months of waiting her turn? That lady is cooked. Unless she pleads guilty, there’ll be a trial. While I doubt it’ll be thought through in the story. I do find the judicial process in DD stories fascinating and thought provoking. Like in this instance let’s say she plead innocent and was found guilty of Kidnapping in the first degree, in this dimension, and country that’s probably a felony crime with a long prison sentence. How would the female inmates view kidnapping in this universe? Irl anything dealing with kids would put your life at risk on the inside. I imagine the same in this universe and that would extend to Littles. With that knowledge I wonder how many kidnappers would beg for a plea deal that involved alternative punishments with a guilty plea instead of going to trial?

That’s a wonderful chapter. And having this other race and stuff. It’s amazing world building.

Very interesting start. I’m almost as excited as he is, except I have the perspective of an outsider of the universe itself and understand that things will go wrong in a bad way. Now for my prediction. I have two theories. First one is that woman is an adopted Little, uses a pen name either because they don’t want someone to discover who they are or also because their mommy/daddy doesn’t know what she’s been up to. My second theory is that she’s an Amazon, but lives the life of an adopted Little and probably uses a version of Nanny Bot as a caretaker, either one similar to the one Greg and Charlie use in Different or similar to other DD stories where it’s an android/robot in human shape.

😂 yes I did. Thank you for the reaction. I’m very stingy with my reactions. They’re precious to me. Sometimes it’s my only way I can truly express my appreciation without feeling like my words might somehow be misunderstood (which does happen often)

Poor Charlie. While I wish Greg could take him home and cuddle him in private. I think it’s best they stay in case something pops up. Also congrats to Charlie for remembering to have Greg call Saki for help. If they didn’t say anything, the news would get wind of this and “Greg Vankor, Unfit Parent.” “The Apple has fallen far from the tree, Greg Vankor has brought Shame to the Vankor name.” And other headlines will be seen by morning. Especially if Lauren realizes she can sell her side of the story. Maybe even try and say how much danger Mr Vankor put her daughter in. Maybe even lying about Lexi getting hurt. Going as far implying that she now believes Greg was trying to kidnap Lexi when she first met him. Press would be everywhere and some would even break into their house to get dirt on the family. This could blow up quickly if Greg doesn’t get ahead of it. It might’ve already gone too far to avoid the spotlight all together. So now it’s all about mitigating damages.

I agree, while how his parents got that power and influence is questionable, he has the opportunity to use it to help others and, in this case, protect his family. I actually forgot that she was holding Lexi when I was writing that comment 😅 She definitely would have done anything if she believed it would aide her in getting in Greg’s good graces and possibly gain some of her own power or money from it. She might even be trying to get in Greg’s bed in order to get a higher status in society. Little does she know that Greg’s bed is a crib. 😁

I hope Lilly reacts to what Nana did. Then the talk later will be a bit longer. 😁 Also I noticed that even the “Mommies” call DR Chester Nana. I’m guessing that’s not just when in front of the Littles either.
