Thanks for the info on the Ziron OS. I may give this a go on an older laptop. This older PC was originally running win 10 but I pushed win 11 on it when MS reduced the OS hardware requirements. Ziron sound like a good solution to a slow machine.
Two days later, I installed Linux Zorin, the free version on an older laptop.
WOW, it has brought new life to an eight year old laptop. After completing the installation I spent some time learning my way around. All in All its a lot like windows but without all the bloatware that strangles an OS. I loaded Firefox and added all my favorites. To sum it up, an I5 quad core processor with 16MB of ram running Linux Zorin when browsing the web is preforming about equal to twelve core I7 with 32MB of ram. Very impressed.
