  1. Yes it is, I was younger in this pic. I was on the beach.
  2. can't wait to see what you post, I would like some of my own
  3. Hoping to see what they look like, I might want some of my own.
  4. Hello, I have my thoughts I'll share. I have threaded armor and I love the fit and comfy they provide. It's a layering system and that is great for having how much you need for what you are doing. I find that microfiber 1st needs to be wet to be effective. AIO aren't effective, they are great for getting the feel of everything at once, but in use, not that protective for me. Flannel was grandma's go to, but in actual use, they just aren't absorbent as today's materials. Birdseye/gauze are spendy, but allow fluid transference very quickly for cloth. Pins are the winner for me to hold into place...plus they are cutie like when we were toddlers, if you go for fun colors. For covers, I prefer today's plastic pants, snug legs and waist are my go to. 2nd up is PU, which is different than PUL. PU is most current, PUL is older school and can delaminate over time. Best to read up on PUL. I'm a few years behind you, and this is my input. I really hope I've helped you. I like to combine the best of cloth and SAP products, and my option of covers listed above, for the most absorbency and comfy, for me.
  5. I'm middle age and have been diagnosed with secondary nocturnal enuresis, so I may or may not wet the bed on any given night. I have a PEVA mattress cover on the bed. I wear a plastic backed diaper, inside it I layer in dual soakers with the plastic backing cut mostly out. Over that I wear a cloth pull-up Threaded Armor night time 'diaper' which is really a brief that has padding with a full cut stretchy woman's brief for compression. This gives me a super soaking diaper just in case. I use a DryBuddy alarm system with 2 wireless alarms, 1 on the headboard and 1 across the room. I attach the magnetic sensor to a cotton cloth folded over the dual soakers. Placement is very important, so the sensor is 1" below where I would naturally wet. Finally I wear a pair of high waisted plastic pants that go higher above my waist and a little lower on my legs than standard plastic pants. This is all pretty thick, but also comfy. If I begin to wet I wouldn't typically be waken up, so the headboard alarm does wake me, and getting out of bed to turn off the 2nd alarm across the room gets me on my feet, from there I go to the bathroom and empty my bladder. I only wet a couple table spoons at most, that is all it takes to set the alarm off. So why the double soakers? I've gotten up and turned both alarms off, sleep walking, and went back to bed instead of walking to the bathroom, so it's my attempt at having a fail safe.
  6. Hello, I'm from PDX and I've been a diaper lover most of my life. I was a bedwetter as a young teen so I made my own soakers and I could fit into Gerber toddler plastic pants, I was keeping my bed dry. When I was 19 I bought a pair of adult plastic pants out of curiosity, that's when I learned I really enjoyed wearing them. I then bought Depends and wore 3 pair at once, for the bulk, and I loved the feeling of diapers on me, I was hooked. I like wearing snug diapers, they are like a comfy hug! That security and comfort is really important to me now, it's for the comfort and emotional security so I'm very often padded and plastic pants just make me feel totally protected. Fast forward to middle age and I'm incontinent at night, secondary nocturnal enuresis, so it's great that I already knew how to keep the bed dry at night. When I'm not at work, I'm almost always diapered. When I'm out shopping I'm always padded with plastic pants on over the diaper, I'm often wet, sometimes on accident because I can't always make it to the rest room, sometimes on purpose because I like the feeling of the swelled super absorbent polymers of the diaper, it's a comfort thing and the warmth takes me back to when I was 5 years old and still wearing diapers at night that my mom put me into, till I was in 1st grade. I was a bed wetter till I was 12 so I was secretly wearing a cloth soaker in my underwear at night. I found that I could still pull on a pair of toddler Gerber plastic pants, I was small enough and they stretched a lot, but still very snug, and I was happy that I found a way to keep the bed dry! I really enjoy hiking wearing a diaper and plastic pants, a t-shirt and a skirt or shorts over the diaper when in the forest. I've spent a lot of time hiking on the beach up by the grass line wearing just a diaper and shoes, or a diaper and t-shirt and shoes. People never say anything, I think because people are usually down at the water line and honestly, I've always thought that they couldn't see what I was wearing from that distance and just didn't care, they were having their own fun in the water. I'm sure the plain white diaper just looks like white shorts from the distance away.
  7. Hello Twinkle, I like that you found how to be your genuine 'you' and be happy! I'm similar to you in many ways. My wife also knows, just doesn't want to be included. My little self is a young girl and I enjoy off the rack girls skirts, panties, fun tops that I wear on the outside and of course diapers and plastic pants under them. Most enjoyable when camping alone, that's when I can be me and wear what I want in camp and on hikes in the forests. Thanks for sharing openly. I'm happy someone else is so very similar to myself. PPO
  8. Weather doesn't determine where I wear a diaper. I seem to be not affected by the heat and not by being wet all day. I don't think I've ever had diaper rash, guess I'm just so conditioned to be wearing that things don't bother me. Diapering myself is when I'm most comfy, and diapers are a security blanket as well.
  9. Very cute, I like your snug diaper!
  10. Today I put on youth girls size 16 cotton panties. They are only slightly snug but there's a little room in them so I have on a thin disposable diaper with a soaker inside of it and gently & slowly leaking into them so they swell up slowly. This way I get the diaper much closer fitting to me and I get to have both my panties and diaper on at the same time. Best of both worlds for me.
  11. really cutie diaper, love the colors!
