I really enjoy this part of the diaper change.  Especially the smell of some of them.  Especially Desitin, Balmex and Butt Paste.

Others enjoy the smell.

I love the original Dr. Boudreaux's Butt Paste that comes in the jars.   Love slathering it up in my crack and all over.

I don't use it very often,  but I do like the smell of old Desitin. The last tube of Deitin I bought didn't have a smell

I'm using Sudocrem - the jar version. When I was a baby, my mother used a pharmacy made creme from a glass jar, so for me the jar is more authentic than squeezing it out from a tube.

The reason the scent disappeared from Destin is because they caught a lawsuit and lost the lawsuit costing them major money . The case claimed that Destin was destroying diapers due to its ingredients and scent . Thru discovery from the company they got very old internal documents that confirmed the company new when they formulated it that the ingredients and scent was in fact destroying diapers because you couldn’t get the chemicals out of the diaper the diapers were killing plastic pants ( duh petroleum people ) so once the company was found liable ,they started changing the ingredients and removing that scent .

i never had a problem ,probably because if rash cream is used on me i expect to smell like a guy with a liberal coating of diaper rash cream applied . My sick day diapers and plastic pants are washed and stored separately and are easy to tell they are sick day diapers because they are black .

Diapee cream is a crucial to avoid diaper rash, if you’re incontinent.

I love the smell of Penaten baby care lotion after a diaper change. Sometimes I get the lotion on my hands and arms and face too so it all smells like baby lotion🥰

Calmoseptine is my go-to diaper cream! I apply it with gloves since it is so thick and sticky... which is what you want with a diaper cream I think lol. I apply a thin-ish layer of cream and then apply powder until no longer sticky, then I diaper up and enjoy!

Haven't had a rash yet! And I stay in a wet diaper probably for much longer than I probably should!
