Delays at the border?

Finally got my Rearz order today that I ordered the end of December.  I didn't expect them to ship until after the new year,  that was a given.  But then,  the order sat at the border for several days on the Canadian side.  Once they finally made it across,  the order sat in Buffalo a few more days. 

I really don't go through a lot of diapers and don't order that often.  The last few times I ordered from Rearz,  it seemed like the order came right across the border in a very timely manner. 

Is it normal for orders to take a long time coming through customs? Did I just get lucky the first few times,  or just unlucky this time?

They could still be backed up from holiday shipping at the border, Maybe short staffed currently, or maybe your package was temporarily misplaced.

Next time, have them shipped across the southern border... Everything can come thru there, no questions asked.  😂🤣😆😁

Whenever I order something, I expect the package to sit 1-2 weeks at the customs. 
I think they prioritize businesses.

I ordered around first week of December and got in like 10 days...Once it got to Buffalo, it took 2 days.  Pretty good speed for the holidays.
