On a watching brief a couple of years ago i was that bored I actually counted, I think I have now been on 70+

Only "archeology" here is when I'm digging through boxes long hidden in a closet and finding "treasures" I had forgotten about!  😄

When the word is in quotes, "treasures" can have more than one meaning!  I recently found a stash of old Comco vinyl pants in a downstairs closet.   Tattered and torn, all had hardened to stand on their own.  I attacked them with a sledge hammer.

I use to spend a lot of time on my family farm looking for arrowheads and pottery. I have a fairly big collection now.  The highway that borders the farm was widened from 2 lanes to fours lanes a few years ago and a burial ground was discovered right across from my grandparents house. I got to watch them recover the bodies and other artifacts. Turns out the remains were carbon dated to be 8000 years old.
