Thiazides - Will They Help?

I was prescribed a thiazide yesterday for high BP. I am surprised at the amount of urine so far… any chance taking these will help give me a little assist with untraining? When I’m wearing I’m kinda in constant dribble mode as is.

Just make sure someone is tracking your kidney function because in the USA it will be a five year wait for a donor if one fails.  That's the scariest thing about those medicines.

I take 12 mg HCTZ as needed for lower leg swelling and fluid retention.. on days that I do take them I usually overflow a diaper. I did yesterday because I didn't put on a thick one, my NS Supreme Lite didn't hold it all! I didn't knowingly pee that much I didn't think so I guess it must have just dribbled out.

yes i take hctz daily,i have developed the habit of takeing it at bedtime for i know i'm diapered thickly then.

Thanks for the thoughts guys! I’m really enjoying the medication so far. It’s not crazy but it does seem like it’s giving me a slight bump. 
 

Also, to make clear: please, if you don’t need this medicine, don’t take it. Not a silver bullet for me so far and the potential downsides probably outweigh peeing slightly more frequently.
