Catheters

Thinking about using them to aid. What size does everyone use? Also, if I end up going to the doc due to significant other, will they be able to tell if a catheter has been used?

if you do not nick yourself i do not think thay would be able to tell. when starting out most use a 12 or 14 fr i have moved on to home made stints.

I just started using catheters but I used a 14 fr first and found myself peeing past the balloon.  Today I'm using a 16fr and it has been a lot more comfortable with no by pass of urine.

Don’t lie to a doctor, if you end up in the ER just be honest, otherwise they are going to expect ether problems with you or an STD.

 

i know it’s embarrassing but you’d be shocked how often rather embarrassing things show up to doctors that can’t be hidden... IE stuck toys
