Advantages of Diapers

This is a topic I have been thinking of posting here for a few months. I just didn't know how. Maybe it should be two separate posts, because there are different advantages for a caring mommy or daddy, as opposed to those for one who identifies as a baby. But I'll just start it off and I presume it'll be added to by others as different things occur to people. These might be used as an encouragement to get someone to wear diapers, or a range of different things. I even considered trying to put this into a story form, but the essence of things can be lost in something that isn't in point form. So I'll start with a couple and add to it as necessary.

1) when it's winter and it's cold, wetting a diaper and sitting in a wet diaper for hours keeps you warm.

2) it's a rebellion against the ways of the world to wear diapers, and with all the stuff going on in the world right now, who wouldn't want to make a statement?

3) it's a source of comfort and safety, especially in a world where there is so much going on

4) for me this is a big one, but whatever I did, I never felt accepted by parents, and making myself vulnerable in diapers is subconsciously a way of acknowledgment, to present myself to the world as a vulnerable individual who needs to be cared for and taken seriously.

5) you can literally go to the toilet anywhere.

6) another big one for me, sort of in line with 2) above, was to be able to stand in front of a toilet and wet my diaper, defying it's authority over my life.

7) for a possessive parent, diapers are a way to hold on to a baby.

Feel free to add. I'll probably think of some more later.

1. You are trying to justify it, You are also ignoring what it costs in time, money and labor. THAT is why parents are glad their children are out of diapers. When I am out, I do not have to carry around extra baggage and there are enoough toilets around so that I can use one and be done in 3 minutes. Beyond that, I need not worry about leaks and blowout or oders to which I have gon nose blind

2. a "rebillion against the way of the world" for its own sake is a temper tantrum and of no use to anyone. And the world is many times bigger than you and has more power than you could dream of. Before you can grow down, you must grow up. Besides which a rebel without a cause is an unkhappy person, and that is what he spreads. as Billy Joel put it, an Angry Young Man ends up an Angry Old Man

Owing to the 1) in the reply, it seems I need to clarify what I meant. I did specify "identifies as", thereby implying the AB/DL community.

In my time on here, I have come to realise that there are not only ABs and DLs, but those who may enjoy caring for them. The question could have even been interpreted as hypothetical, as in if one didn't have any limitations, whether they be financial or otherwise. Honestly, I am getting tired of having to justify everything I write on this site, as if people can't read questions with an open mind, as opposed to either having certain preconceived ideas about why a person wold post something, or not having an open enough mind to think that people may come into this community with different reasons for wearing diapers etc. etc. times two

When I go Christmas shopping out of town, I have about an hour drive and stop at a few stores along the way.  I never have to worry about having to stop what I'm doing to find a restroom.  I can be in the check out line wetting my diaper or stopping at each store I want to go in at the mall and not having to run half way down the length of the mall to get to the public restrooms.

Another advantage would be if you were at an amusement or theme park standing in line for a ride and had to pee.

Don't forget the advantage on long car trips and not having to stop at the dirty restrooms when you have to pee, or flying somewhere on an airline when the toilets are usually occupied and very small.  And that is if they don't have the fasten seat belt sign on due to turbulence and won't let you out of your seat.

Likewise if you are stuck in a gridlock on the highway because of an accident or road construction.

And the Casino where I do know some people wear diapers.  If you have a hot slot machine and you are on a winning streak, you don't want to leave to go to the bathroom and come back to find someone else is now at your winning machine.

At the movie theater so you don't miss any of the film because you drank the 64 ounce Coke with your 5 gallon bucket of popcorn and had to run to the restroom.

I didn't mention Times Square New York on New Years Eve because you wouldn't catch me dead there!

I think all the reasons to wear in the opening post are valid. I never liked public restrooms, so I am always diapered when in public places. Aside from light incontinence I get from medication, mostly I wear to keep my stress level low. I have always had a desire to pee and poo in unconventional places, so when at home and happen to be without a diaper on, I often use a chamber pot. In the rare occasions I have to use a toilet (like pooping at work), it feels like a boring, wasted opportunity.

For me, wearing a diaper is a life necessity due to a ruptured disc in my lower back. It it there to keep my pee and pooping accidents contained until I can change into a clean diaper. Wearing a premium diaper gives me the confidence to go about my day as a normal person and not have to worry about what happens when I have an accident in my pants.
