Are plastic back molicares gone for good?

So I used to love the purple molicares (super plus) then the discontinued them. Then they came out with a blue version (slip maxi) that was all plastic backed to and that seems to be gone. When I wanted a medical looking diaper that was the one. I’m not to thrilled with just white. Abena m4s work though. So are they gone or also any suggestions for anything similar?

The plastic-backed Slip Maxi is still available here in the UK.  Suggest you try contacting Hartmann by email to see whether they still sell them in your part of the world.  Last time I checked (a year or so back)  they were no longer on the UK Hartmann Direct website, but they still sold them if you contacted them by email.  Dorset Nursing here in the UK still sell them too, & that's where I get mine from.

Here in Australia I can still get the blue plastic backed I get them from Hartmann also I found them in the pharmacy.

As per Newbee, I find them (the blue coloured Molicare Slip Maxi) freely available here in Australia.  I order them from Independence Australia on-line.  The only thing is that the price difference between them and the more absorbent, Molicare premium plus is minuscule, only $A1.50 per packet (about US$0.0005 the way things are headed with our exchange rate!).  Although not plastic-backed,  the Maxi Plus is more absorbent and more robust.  I find myself drifting slowly toward the Maxi Plus these days.  My monthly order is now 3 x packs of each (I have a BetterDry for day use).

Seems to me they are available.  All I did was a Google search and XP-Medical has them listed.  Maybe these are not what you are looking for, but they do say Molicare Slip Maxi and are blue with white side panels.  The description on these sites isn't as detailed as it could be, but at least the photo from XP-Medical seems to show the diaper is plastic backed.

The blue molicare slip maxi, plastic backed, are still available here in Germany.

I hope they keep on producing them, because they are also my favorite "normal" diapers.

Yea me to but I wouldn’t count on it. Seems every supplier in the USA and Canada has discontinued them for some reason.

I got some samples from I believe it was parent giving and they were plastic backed.  According to their website they have bags and cases. I wasn't impressed with them, I think I'd rather have abena m-4s . They hold more in my opinion.

M4s arnt bad at all. Just not really big on white diapers. Think I’m gonna try out some northshore supremes. Got a sample a while back but don’t remember what it was like.

He’s talking about the Secure Plus, which was purple.  I can’t find them either.  Super soft and comfy.  They’d clump up if worn a long time, but otherwise one of my faves.

No the molicare super plus was purple. That was the one they had before the blue one they came out with(slip maxi I believe was the blue). But both have seem to dropped off the face of the earth.

But they haven't - read the rest of the thread.  The blue ones are still readily available in Europe and Australia, for instance.  Unless you're just talking about one face of the earth...
