To lose fat: count calories
On days that you do not work out have a net zero calorie intake, on days that you exercise for one hour: end the day in a 500 calorie deficit. That means leave 500 calories at the end of the day that are not consumed. Work out 3 days a week.

I’ve lost 5 pounds this month from doing so.
