Little BabyDoll Christine
In the Psychedelic Era (1957-9) I used to use this "toy" with Day-glo colors to stunning effect. Now there is a digital version. Jut think of what you can do with modern grafix (deliberate spelling since it is not just drawn images, but also the code that enables the image reader to show tem) processors (can you say IrfanView, with plugins, Filters Unliminted and Filter Factory? I can) https://nathanfriend.io/inspirograph/ gET YOUR OWN https://www.google.com/search?source=hp&ei=F4osXNeYJ8in5gLm6qkY&q=spirograph+download&oq=SPIRGRAPH+DOWNL&gs_l=psy-ab.1.0.0i13i30l2j0i8i13i30.5173.10950..14154...0.0..0.232.2026.1j14j1......0....1..gws-wiz.......0j35i39j0i67j0i131j0i10j35i304i39j0i13j0i13i5i30.2kJrxu3nJhE Link to comment
rusty pins
I had both the Spirograph and Super Spirograph when I was a kid (and still have them). My big problem with them (other than the holes in the paper from the push pins that you had to pin the gears to the paper with) was you would be as careful as possible doing your design and when half way through something would slip and you would mess it all up! After all that time the image would be ruined and you would have to start over. You had to push tight enough against the main gear that was pinned to the paper in order for the teeth on the smaller gear to not skip or jump that the main gear would come loose from the paper. I would get so discouraged I would just quit. Link to comment
