ChrisKnight Posted November 28, 2006 Share Posted November 28, 2006 I keep getting the following error whenever I try to look at a thread or search of the newest posts: IPB WARNING [2] mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections (Line: 131 of /ips_kernel/class_db_mysql.php) There appears to be an error with the database. You can try to refresh the page by clicking here. DailyDi Posted November 29, 2006 Share Posted November 29, 2006 "Too many connections" That means too many people are trying to access the database at one time. We have to put limits on the number of simultanious connections to prevent server crashes. Link to comment

Because our databases serve more than just the chatroom. It serves the message board, the personal ads, the coppermine gallery and other features all being access at the same time. Link to comment
