What are everyone's thoughts with being in the "friend zone" with someone of the opposite sex?

There is no such thing as the "friendzone". If you want to go out with someone just ask them, if they say they want to be friends then their answer is no. If you don't want to be friends with them then just cut contact.

Though if you don't want to be friends with someone a more intimate relationship might be difficult!

I wouldn't want to screw up my friendships by putting sex into the mix where it doesn't belong, even if that was my first attraction ( which hasn't always been the case ) Sex can be bought (well at last rented) but friends are neither sold or rented- they are priceless so you treat them accordingly
