feeling a little depressed/frustrated recently

Im not sure how many of you can directly relate to this

But, ive had a really bad smile for basically half my life; the worst thing is that I basically have a completely open bite

I had braces to correct my teeth and I hated it.

My sisters got braces and hated them. I needed them too but by the time is was to have happened my drunken Dad got booted out of the military and we couldn't afford them. Ditto for my own life, no dental insurance and not rich. My overbite isn't terrible but I hate it

I got braces in Sixth Form (college) and just like it was a bad cliche from a film it happened to be picture day! Still it straightened my teeth so it was worth a little bit of pain or annoyance for that.

I still have issues with my teeth, probably because of the food I eat and poor brushing habits in the past but its not terrible.

Thanks everyone, they are still annoying at times, but im seeing some progress so that makes me feel like im getting a fair trade (all the annoyance and pain for a better smile), still 23 months to go
