Just a person
So I don't know if this is chemical or psychological depression. It has been going on for years. Ever since I was in my late teens. It seems to be backed by a lot of negative thoughts. I don't know if I think these thoughts because I don't have the capacity to feel good, so everything feels worse than it actually is, or if I feel bad because I think these negative thoughts. I have tried blocking the thoughts out. Usually when I wake up I feel like I would when I was a child, where I wouldn't feel depressed, and I would go throughout the day without it. Link to comment
AwakenEvil
I wish I had an answer for you. Honestly my best advise is to speak to your doctor or a therapist about these issues and take them day by day and issue by issue until you figure out what triggers you and how to handle them. Just remember you're not alone in those feelings and people are out there that genuine care about you. Sorry I'm not able to seriously offer anything else. Link to comment

Dill_Pickle
The question as to whether depression is chemical or psychological is kind of like asking whether the chicken or the egg came first. Link to comment
