DiapermanAl
Hello wondering if there is any creams that do not shorten the life of plastic pants. Thanks Al Link to comment
turtlepins
I use Destin, but then I also wear cotton gauze pre fold diapers, so my diaper area is probably larger than yours. Link to comment
oleman72
I've got some Balmax on hand, but haven't used any in over six months. All I've been using is J&J cornstarch with Aloe or Lavender. I only use my plastic pants with my cloth diapers and haven't had any problems with my plastic pants. Although I think I put my thumb nail through them a time or two. Link to comment
DiapermanAl
Yes balmax and desiten is great stuff. I been careful not to get any on my pps. Just in-case i get a rash out side of the diaper area like along my thighs id like a cream that is Link to comment

PeeDeePants
The only "plastic pants" that I know of that are not affected by oils or diaper creams are ones made of Polyurethane. Link to comment
Nia
I use a natural product from Dimpleskins that is cloth diaper and plastic pants safe and it works well. http://www.dimpleskinsnaturals.com/bbb.htm Link to comment
Baby Dee
Yep, I use only the Fetware polyurethane pants, some have lasted over a year with daily wear both over night and daytime. Link to comment
Baby Brian
I second (or is it third) only using PUL pants. They are way more durable, quieter, more comfortable, and leak less often than pvc with nylon covered elastic (which still wicks pee by the way), plus they are much more comfortable to wear for long periods of time. DiapermanAl
Ok awesome sounds like pul is the way to go. Link to comment
John Davis
I'm bowel incontinent and use a lot of rash creams as a barrier. Link to comment
oleman72
I concur with the PUL pants. I've got two pair now and have two more coming. My first two come from Dependeco @ $31.00 a pair. The ones I have coming are from Changing Times Diaper Co. @ 21.00 a pair. Robert has these made by Baby Kins from PUL material he sends them. I want to compare the two suppliers and see which ones I'll go with. I'm phasing out my plastic pants altogether. Link to comment
