One way to fix the broken party system is to set term limits. And cut social programs only help the actual sick, elderly, and truly disabled. I've seen people in wheelchairs working at department stores. Get rid of public unions and have the lazy welfare abusers sweep our streets instead of paying city workers $30 per hour to do it.

Because I care about people's rights worldwide? For the same reason I want to see the bona fide oppressive theocracies of the middle east collapse? Because I enjoy seeing that humanity isn't as much as a servile cesspool as some make it out to be? Because rational, reality-based belief systems enacted into law is a good thing? And most importantly, because it has a knock-on effect on attitudes the world over (at least, the western world)? Is that enough?

Edit: Put it this way, do you care about the social issues several states away from you?

Alright, I'll be honest, I think Romney is losing because he is wrong and many of you are probably all wrong about him. The truth is, the people basing their votes on hearsay are tools, and that goes for both sides. I remember what Mitt Romney said from day 1 of his campaign, and I only know on a basic level, what he will do. He has not really said anything specific. That is what I mean when I said he panders so much, it costs him votes. That said, I know enough to tell he is lying about the budget. No matter how you do the numbers, balancing the budget will be next to impossible as long as you decide to significantly increase the military budget while never increasing taxes, which Romney has repeatedly said he would do. Romney also talks about Iran, China, and Russia as potential sources of conflict. Definitely, if we start a war with any of those countries, we will be in much greater debt then we are now and balancing the budget will never in be talked about.

On Iran, I do not consider Netanyahu to be a true ally. He is crazier then Ahmadinejad and the recent U.N. convention is good evidence of how antagonistic and stupid he is. That is why I feel if anyone is going to start a war with Iran, it will probably be Israel and I would not be surprised if we wake up tomorrow morning and hear the start of this war all over the news. It can happen any day now.

The thing about Obama is, well, I do not give him that good of a grade either. The surge in Afghanistan did not actually work. It is really too early to give a good judgement on the efficacy of Obamacare. The stimulus helped, but it could have been much better if the money actually made it to the projects. I also have a long list of things that I wish we got done, but with lame duck congress, I can't really place that much blame on the president. One thing we should have now is a national strategic energy plan for the future. Oil is a temporary fix. Natural gas will likely replace oil for energy very soon. After that, hopefully we would have made the right investments now to have our next source of energy that is ideally cleaner and cheaper. For example, the price per watt of solar energy is quickly approaching that of coal. Another cool thing is solar fuels. Imagine using solar energy to directly convert carbon dioxide back into methane after it was burned so it can be burned again. While Obama has put some money towards these alternative forms of energies, he has not really committed that much money to research since 97% of it has gone to manufacturing subsidies. If we are serious, we need research centers for developing these technologies and we need to rebuild our power grid.

I guess I do not really have an organization to this post, but it is some of what I know.

Really, you are going to make that conclusion. That's the problem with tools and narrow thinkers. They will read what they want to believe. They will make a conclusion, then make the evidence fit that conclusion taking only what they want into account. I am afraid it does not work that way and you can say all the bombastic rhetoric you want, it won't change the fact you are wrong and you are a political tool.
