New Lingerie Or Diapers?

I'm on a business trip this week and while I brought my panties (I wear everyday), I didn't bring any sleepwear or diapers. Rushed packing and just forgot. I'm finally on my own tonight (no evening plans) and, frankly, it's been a stressful week. So, being alone in a distant town, the question became stop by somewhere and pick up something sexy and frilly to sleep in, or stop by and pick up some non-medical-grade diapers (Walgreens, CVS, etc.). I know, I know, many of you would say both... and both have a similar calming effect on me, but while I enjoy the feel of lingerie it's more a shared experience involving someone else's touch (in my case, my wife... I'm not the cheating kind). Diapers, however, are relaxing. Comforting. You know the spiel.

So, I'm sitting here in a Walgreens Certainty Fitted Brief, Maximum Absorbency. I'm not out to test that claim, but I'm not dry - that was almost a reflex once I got it on and sat down with TV and the laptop. I've been trickling since. I'm not one who "enjoys" the wet feeling - in fact, I'd rather be a "good boy" and stay dry, but I don't actively avoid wetting. I'm looking forward to changing, cleaning, etc. and drifting off to sleep tonight in a dry, snuggly diaper.

These aren't the thickest or snuggest, but they fit well and absorb relatively well if you don't flood... but more importantly they're not underwear! They're bulkier, softer and definitely a diaper... aah! I'm really looking forward to getting home, however, and back into a Arena X-Plus.

So, given the choice of one if you were in my same scenario: new lingerie or diapers?

Easy. Diapers. Especially after getting out of the shower. There is no better feeling than that.

Definitely the right choice so far - I've wet three! Never been through this many in an evening... and I'm not even in bed yet. My body is definitely relaxing!

No offense but being this is a diaper forum, I'm pretty sure most (if not everyone) will say diapers.

well, given that this is DailyDiapers, and not DailyPanties, my answer (along with that of many other a member) will be diapers. Though I would recommend searching for medical supply shops in town (as they always have something better).

I'm going to say it depends on the types of shops you find. If you find something unique, then choose that shop. It could be the products there or the service. But if you're already "out of town" then try to experience something you don't find at home. My guess is that you won't find many shops that carry a diaper you can't find somewhere else or online. That said, there might be a shop where the customer service is great. With the lingerie you may more easily find some sort of boutique shop in which you'll have a positive experience, and maybe find a few items you don't see at your regular stores back home.

Knowing this was DD, I certainly expected the diaper bias (not a bad thing!). Was more curious to see any discussion... but I guess we all know what we're happiest in!
