ItchyTasty
Just recieved my order of diapers and other things from save express and my mum's bf had to come over the minute it was coming to my door. Fucking hell, a really close encounter. It's in a huge box as well, luckily nothing written on it. But then he wanted to know what I'd ordered. So said I'd have to open it and see. So quickly went up to my room and opened the box and hid everything inside it in my cupboard. If he asks me later what was inside it, hmmmmm I dunno what to say. I CANNOT say diapers as would think I was mentally ill or just extremely weird/sick, as he's close minded like that. And he was taking the piss out of people with a foot fetish with mum the other day. So if he thinks that is bad, I dread to think what he'd think of adults wearing diapers. I could lie and say I bought a load of porn dvds, lmfao. But I'm fucked if he wants to see the contents, could always find all my porn dvds and show him them, lol. Think he'd probably hate the www.baby-doll.com dvd the most, following by the homo-emo gay porn, lol. Also I'm a bit pissed off at saveexpress, they sent me the WRONG plastic pants. Ones completely without side poppers and in a different colour. I asked and order a pair of high quality pink plastic pants with poppers, got sent some really cheapy looking seamless silver coloured plastic pants. So will have to contact the bastards for them to send me the correct ones. Also the misleading picture of the ID Slip super night nappies, still plastic covered, but MUCH thinner and completely white except for the wetness indicator. Look cheaply made now as well. Are the right ones though, as say ID Slip super in very faint writing along the wetness indicator. I wish sites would update their bloody pics. That site has REALLY out of date pics of the attends range as well, still showing the old type of attends if bought in singles, lol. Link to comment
timmyc
As an adult, I don't think you owe your mum's BF any explanation whatsoever. Link to comment
SoCalAB
Let me get this straight... You are 27 and still living at home with your mum? 1 Link to comment
AutieAB
Back in my university days, a similar situation arose with one of my housemates - she came into the kitchen just as I was signing for the package. I told her in a fluster I'd bought a box of cushions for my mother. I have no idea if she believed me but I doubt it Link to comment

sarah_ab
also... you can always go to goodwill, or wal mart or anything like that, pick up some rediculous sweaters or shirts you know 'costume' clothes, and keep em in your closet, if it ever happens say you were buying some used clothing online for an 80's party.. or whatever, and then you have the clothes to show em.... this works with new clothes too.. buy some sweatshirts, or jeans, or tee shirts you know for cheap and hold em for just such occasions.... then you don't have to stress because you have a cover story, an a product to produce! See Sarah's post. And also I got a SERIOUS medical issues which ain't controlled at the moment (epilepsy) and I got aspergers syndrome (a form a high functioning autism). And even to rent a flat in london, uk is like one of most expensive prices in the world. When my epilepsy gets fully controlled and I more get help with the aspergers syndrome. Then I'm going to apply for a council flat. Won't be entirely free, as gas, electricity, water bills, telephone and internet I'll still have to pay for but that's what I'm aiming for when I get the epilepsy controlled at least. I don't fancy living in supported living, as they would have very strict rules, and would be like living in care, no fucking way. So I live at home until the above problems are sorted. dl_ashlee
Yup, everyone's situation is different. I am very apperciative that my Mom has done so much for me to allow me to go to college without having to worry at all while I am in school about having food and a place to live. I spent 4 years really finding myself and taking classes at a Junior (Community) College deciding on what I want to major in. Along with that all I worried about at that point was school work and having the rest of the time to just be young and play. The other thing is school really is not my strong point and have taken several courses over again. Also been on probation several semesters, but I am finally making i through and will be graduation next spring 2012. Lets just hope that it won't take me forever to actually find a job after graduating, damn shitty economy, even though it seems tech companies are starting to hire again. Hoping by this time next year the job market outlook is even better. Probably should start sending out lots of resumes and see if I can get an internship before graduating, which would really help in getting a job after as I then have a leg up on other grads that don't have any field experience.
