ForbiddenFruit
Yesterday we were doing an experiment in biology. Extracting DNA. From, um, a kiwi. It involved salt. When the teacher wasn't looking I poured some salt into my hand, snatched a chunk of kiwi and threw them into my mouth. It was rather strong. my lips were sucked so far back into my mouth I was afraid I would swallow them, and I felt a very slight, warm, 'tightening' sensation in my chest afterwards. Link to comment
wetman
I would advise for the next time: Take a handful (5 or 6 buds will do) of brussels sprouts, raw, and eat them, cleaned of course. Then take a good swig from a fridge-cold bottle of sparkling mineral water. That will make you forget your taste sensations together with the chest tightness. Fast recovery wishes wetman Link to comment
Entropy
Dude, NEVER eat in the lab. You trying to poison yourself? Link to comment
hidden
In micro bio lab, we passed around a candy bar, swabbed our hands, and grew cultures. Why are there always signs for "No mouth pipetting"? I would have never thought of that if it wasn't for those signs. I also like how our hood is broken but we still use it... Never ever eat anything in a lab! Link to comment
