How To Do I Weaken My Bowels

Recommended Posts

I can't speak for the bowels part but I can for full bladder incontinence. I came into this wanting to become fully incontinent some 20 years ago. Everyone said I was crazy so I took their advice and sought means to avoid the incontinence I wanted (and diapers too at the time). 15 years ago I got into a car wreck and bruised & twisted my spine. That made me urge incontinent beyond medical "curing". Not satisfied with the painful urges I used catheters on my own to achieve a full function incontinence (since no doctors wanted to do good by helping me). I've been fully incontinent for a year now and I have a much better quality of life. The funny thing is that everyone said I would eventually change my mind but that never happened, if anything it strengthened my resolve. All I can really say is don't listen to anyone here except your self. If you really want it enough to pursue bowel incontinence then go for it!

Along with all the words of caution from those speaking about regretting it or saying it is a bad idea physically, it may also be bad in other ways. With any major decision make sure that you would be able to sustain such a lifestyle should you go through with it. Don't go buying a $500,000 house when you can only afford a $250,000 for example. Just some rough numbers for a common diaper, Depends Briefs, priced from NorthShore Care Supply (http://www.northshorecare.com/briefs-depend.html). Since I'm not incontinent I'm going to use Bettypooh's time frame for changing frequency mentioned earlier in this thread.

Assuming you're changing every 3-4 hours that will be 6-8 diapers a day.

For a months worth of diapers that will be 180-240 diapers a month, which (depending on your size) would be $175.10 - $196.30 for Sm/Med diapers and $196.30 - $273.25 for Lg (thats assuming you rounded up when purchasing and bought by the case, which would give you 192-256 diapers a month.)

Keeping with the same amount of diapers a day as an average, this spread over a year for the Sm/Med daipers would be $2154.60 - $2847.15 to get 2240 - 2960 diapers. For Lg it would be $2693.25 - $3539.70 for 2240 - 2944 diapers.

Now this is only for diapers alone, not including any of the wipes, ointments, powders or other items used for personal care when dealing with incontinence.

Now I'm not an investment specialist or anything anywhere close to one but $2100 - $3500 are year can add up quickly in something like an IRA or 401k. If you can afford to do it and can deal with it personally then all the power to you. I know if I could afford it I would.

Hiphopcoy87's calculations are not really exaggerated. I usually change 4-5 times a day (every 6-8 hours) with Abena L4's, spending around $150 every 3 weeks. Say $175 a month, on average for an entire year. So about the same overall.

I also put aside $3000+ per year in my 401K. I drift with my car which burns rubber 2x-3x faster than my suv tires are rated for. Probably around $1500 to replace them every year. I sometimes eat out at restaurants for lunch... Go to the movies at twice a month... etc. etc. etc.

My spending habits haven't really changed since I was going to college making less than $20k/year, you just have to budget for what ever your needs are and prioritize (mortgage first, diapers second, car third, 401k fourth, food fifth, and so on). If it makes you happy, then don't worry about investments, just go for it.

It never fails to amaze me how newbies, especially, seem to have this thought they need to be, or the need to actually be incon to legitimize their desires for and use of diapers. Diapers are a legitimate product, produced for all ages of human beings. They are neither illegal, immoral or fattening. And, they are affordable. Walk in an incon's shoes before you decide you want to be one. But, then, I'm old, and think I know a thing or two once in a while...

Wait, You're drifting in an SUV?!?!? And they said Akhenaton was mentally ill, thats crazy dude.

It's a Jeep Grand Cherokee. You'd be surprised how well build its suspension is. Now if I was trying to drift in a Ford Explorer then yes I would be crazy.

Taco Bell bean burrito, cheap effective and the effects are temporary. I have offered up this advice a few times, but so far I guess people aren't taking me up on it.

It's been a long while, but I've eaten Taco bell before. You're right timmyc; those bean burritos will hit you so fast and hard you might as well be bowel incontinent (turns out it's the sand they add). Luckily I'm always diapered. I don't usually use them for bowel movements but taco bell diarrhea is one of those exceptions. I'd rather walk to the bathroom with a change in hand than drop what I'm doing and try to run for the (gasp) toilet any day of the week.

Well, not EVERYONE responds to Taco Bell the same way. I have to go generally 1-2 times a day, and it doesn't matter whether I'm eating Taco Bell three meals a day, or good homemade meals, it's always the same.

For the price, I love their 5-layer burritos. Two bucks and I'm stuffed. :)
