Grouply Warning

Last night I got a message on my non-ABLG yahoo groups from one of my groups hubs. It offered a website for which hou were to register. I opened the registration list and the form asked for my Yahoo ID and Password., Looking furhter, I found it was a Grouply page.

Fro those not in the know, Grouply was a parasite entity that had attached itself to Yahoo several years back. What it does is use your ID and pasword to get into your account and grab up what you have and pulbish that material on its own site. It is either blacklisted or greylisted

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD YOU GIVE ANYONE ANY OF YOUR ID's OR PASSWORDS

I keep getting invites to grouply thru some of my yahoo contacts, but I never answered any of there requests, I very glad I didn't respond at all.

Anytime anything or anyone asks for your information when it is not needed should be ignored like a plague.

A friend filled in an update thing for her (I think) Yahoo.com account automatic payment years ago..They got her for a few $100...I don't give any numbers or passwords over the net or phone.
