JakeLogan
Hello everybody. Hope you're all well and had a Happy Easter. I'm Jake and turned 22 a couple of weeks ago. I'm going through a difficult time at the moment (I won't bore you with the details ) I'm seeing a therapist once a week and a nurse visits me at home weekly to see how things are going. I've been curious about nappies for a long time - years. Never had the guts to actually go buy any before. I am considering buying a pacifier. Just to see what they're like, I guess. Like I say things are a bit distressing at the moment, and it might help me relax at night time. I have a lot of trouble sleeping and am keen to give it a go. I'm not sure I would feel comfortable wearing nappies in public, but when I'm living alone would consider sleeping in them, or at least trying it. NOT using them - just for reasurrance I guess. Is there a connection between traumatic events in younger life and feeling a fondness and safety towards things like pacifiers? My main concern is - will this sort of thing get me into any trouble? I know they say what you do behind closed doors is your own business so long as nobody else is effected. Forgive me for referring to this, but is pornography involving WOMEN (people aged over 18) wearing diapers legal? I hope it's okay to ask. I didn't really want to ask my parents and don't really have any friends. Thank you for your time. Have a nice week Jake* *Please note that Jake is not my real name Link to comment

toon
sounds like you are uptight and insecure. If you dont have friends you should ask yourself....."why dont I have any friends?" or perhaps "why would I tell a large group of people I dont have any friends?" relax man....if your gonna buy a paci buy a NUK 5 they are meant for adult mouths. Why does a nurse visit you?! What is the reason for your therapy? You left too many gaping holes and I'm wondering why you dont just do the damn thing and be happy?! People make too many excuses these days to torment and hate themselves. You should be happy. Live your life man and stop being such a damn scaredy cat! Link to comment
Mommy and Daddy
Hi Jake and Welcome! I don't think you need to worry too much - however, some places have some pretty severe laws regarding child pornography. In Manitoba (a province of Canada) "zero tolerance" legistlation allows them to go after people for the "suggestion or implication of sex with a minor" - technically it is not legal for strippers (who are clearly adults) to wear their hair in pig tails or to appear on stage holding a teddy bear, though I have not heard of this being used to prosecute people over videos of women in diapers - which may be argued as not being pornographic because merely wearing diapers is not considered a sexual act. If you are concerned you can often ask a lawyer for a half hour consultation free of charge where you can get lagal advice specific to your region. Link to comment

Honu
Welcome Cross-the-ponder, As you've already seen, there are a lot of great people here who are accepting and ready to offer suggested answers to your questions. As your hired guns (therapist and nurse) are telling you, the real answers are up to you. A lot of comfort and security is available through regression, pacifiers (dummies) and diapers (nappies). The trade-off is that a lot of women don't want a relationship with a guy that age regresses. It is possible to balance a relationship that includes age regression on occassions where there is a fair sense of give-and-take. My point is, you can have what you want and be happy if you consider what others want as well. Once again, welcome "Jake" and I hope you enjoy the community. Aloha, Honu Link to comment
Daddy's-Girl2
Hi Jake, I fully understand how you feel, i had the same problem, you can find my story in the newbie nursery on page 2 i have two posts under Daddy's-Girl2, i hope they help you, there you will also find some pics of different adult pacifiers for size comparisons, that might help you also. I found that my urge for nappies and dum dums(pacifiers) just never went away, and i honestly dont think it ever will. It doesnt hurt anyone, but i sometimes still have the feeling that im some sort of freak or a weirdo, but as my husband says its not weird its what makes you feel comforted, so who cares no-one has to know, put a lock on ur door at night so no-one can just walk in, now i have all my things im so glad i have, i sleep so much better with them, and i still have the contented feeling of "at last i have my things" life is too short, order some things, look around, you will find as i did its more popular than i thought heaps of ppl are just like you :-) accepting it is the hardest 1st step. It's all legal if your a consented adult, its just something thats not accepted/understood by everyone so it's something thats kept fairly hidden i guess.Trying to fight it wont help you, maybe it will help you emotionally, if you accept yourself. Snugglebug
Welcome! I think a number of people wear diapers as a means of self-nurturing. I know I get a bit of that when I do so. Link to comment

Knuxie Fawks
Hey! We're all diaperbutts here! Feel free to relax in whatever way makes you comfortable. I was scared to death of buying my first diapers, but I'm glad I did, and I do use them. You wouldn't believe how good wetting a diaper feels...it's mind-blowing. I have a paci, too. I've had my Nuk 5 for about a month, and I don't sleep without it. I had a toddler paci before, but after getting the Nuk 5, I couldn't imagine ever going back. The new one looks exactly like my old one only with a bigger nipple. It's a Gerber Nuk orange paci like this: (the one on bottom). I also have a footed sleeper which is fleece and feels really soft and nice. And of course, I have Rufus (see other posts). Link to comment
