  1. Over a years time my mixed incontinence symptoms are sometimes very bad and other times mild.
  2. For the longest time I've used goodnights, but they lack any protection in the back. This is a problem because recently I've had issues with pooling and leaking. So I've been wanting to try fitted briefs. I'm having trouble finding out what's really good since every supplier says that there product is "the highest quality for iccontinece." I know the general rules like briefs are better than pull-ups, as general rule depends suck, and form can decide if it will leak or not. I think the best ones I can get my hands on locally are tenna or attends, but I don't know much beyond that. Any help?
  3. Hi, I am looking for answers/suggestions about an issue I have started to experience, I may know the answer but need to hear from others with a similar problem to confirm my thoughts.
  4. Does anyone else find it a huge pain when you are so tired that you can barely stand up and you plop down on your bed only to realize you haven't changed for the night. Now I have to make sure I have cleaned up and put a fresh diaper on before bed. I am sorry but this is another part of my incontinence that really gets me down. I just needed to vent. Thanks for reading. Peace, C P.S. The thing I find worse is getting all cleaned up and ready for bed and yup, time for another clean and change. That happened tonight.
  5. I've read Doctors advice on incontinence on the internet and think it could be best to do the opposite of what they say to become incontinent or just have a very weak bladder. They suggest strengthening the bladder by holding for longer, and say going too often just in case can make the bladder smaller. How about going for a wee every half an hour and forcing out what ever you can. At night don't drink anything before bed so the bladder won't fill during the night. When you do wake have a wee straight away and go back to sleep. You'll need a nappy for bed. If you do this for a few weeks the bladder should shrink and you could try going for a wee every quarter of an hour to make it even worse. Once the bladder is very small you won't be able to hold it for long and risk wetting yourself. Now you need to weaken the pelvic floor muscles. When these are weak you can suffer from stress incontinence which means any stress on your pelvic floor makes you wet yourself. Laughing, coughing, sneezing will cause a leak. As soon as you feel the urge to wee relax your bladder and let it flow out. Don't force it out as you want to weaken the muscles and don't clench like you would to stop the flow. You don't want to exercise the pelvic floor. Over time I think you'll have a tiny bladder that can't hold much and muscles that aren't strong enough to stop the flow so you'll be constantly dribbling wee into your nappy. What does everyone think, would this work?

  7. A little about me...in the past I was a diaper lover, then due to age and a botched surgery to "fix me", I became nearly completely bladder incontinent.
  8. Ok, not many can make the rapid shift from having control to not having any control of your bladder / sphincters anymore.
  9. Hey everyone, I know it's been a while since I've posted anything, but I have a question. How often are you finding your self having to wakeup or get up to go pee during the night. For my self I have to go pee about every two hours, talk about tiring. So that usually equals out to five times a night I'm getting up ton go pee. I am on a diuretic so thats one cause and the second cause is I've always had a small bladder. The Diuretic I'm on I have to take two times a day one in the morning and one in the evening so changing the time when I take that medication isn't going to help. I look forward to your guys respond on how often you go during the night. Thanks -Paige
