  1. Hi Mia, I’m a big fan of Academy I. You’ve created a really cool world, a bit scary to imagine this happening to you though. One thing I’ve been wondering about is what are the symbols on the blocks? I thought they could have been letters and numbers and Ai had just lost her ability to read, but it turns out she can read fine at the end of the story.
  2. Makes me happy that Sidney got the help he needed, that the therapy helped him make progress and he made it past his fears about commitment to Kris. A lovely feel good story. Thanks
  3. Sidney's Dad seems not as harsh in this chapter. Isn't it funny how Sidney got sent to camp because his parents wanted him to make friends and get over his conditions and he made some progress in that direction but Kris' parents sent him there to stop him having a relationship with a boy and that totally backfired. ... Sophie are you a writer? ?
  4. I'm going to guess that the data Mary managed to copy might reveal that Katherine didn't give her the whole story when she signed her up for this project. Looking forward to finding out what's on it. I'm liking the rewrite of this story, it's fleshed everything out more.
  5. I think Lily has survived due to more than luck, she is observant and quick thinking to avoid any suspicion. It'll be interesting to see what Charlie and Daphne decide to do next, their job was to get Vicky back, nothing about Lily. Hopefully they aren't completely heartless and don't decide to leave her to fend for herself.
  6. Wait, has no one ever said anything about OCD to Sidney? I was going to say something more about how Kris' White Knightyness is making me slightly uncomfortable (and I know he is probably just doing what he thinks is best but the last chapter could have ended worse and this chapter begun less perfectly) but the fact that no one has tried to give him an accurate diagnosis or take things beyond his normal doctor to a specialist has slightly blown my mind. He really has been failed by quite a few people.
  7. Ok, fine! I've been guilted out of lurking! When I first read it I just thought they were just hiking boots as in this quote I like: "You need special shoes for hiking — and a bit of a special soul as well. ~Terri Guillemets" but I much prefer knife shoes. Perhaps this is why Sid is always looking at his feet while walking, he doesn't want them to accidentally deploy and then he'll trip over them. Yep, that's the only plausible explanation! It's going to be an interesting start to the next chapter, perhaps it will surprise Sid into conversation. Overall I'm interested, looking forward to seeing where the story goes.
  8. Thank you everyone for the warm welcome. Luckily I have still been in work which has kept me busy because otherwise I think I would be going stir crazy. I've been keeping my ABDL accounts quite separate from my normal life which makes logging in to reply a bit of a challenge. I'll have to make sure to regularly log in when I can.
  9. So many twists and turns to this story, it keeps developing and growing. Love it.
  10. Long time (multi year) lurker, first time poster, I’ve been following since the beginning. These last comments sparked an idea in me that I don’t think I’ve seen mentioned yet and I thought I would add to the discussion. I wonder if the whole point of the fight your own battles system that Kinsley encourages is to help the Dolls move on from their rough patch and do better after they leave. We know there are two Dolls who have left, Emmie and Jo and Kinsley says “we’ve helped a lot of people over the years” in chapter two. I wonder how many Dolls have passed through over the years. Maybe the whole point of the Doll House is a kind of messed up therapy for the marginalised community of the area? Perhaps that’s what happened to Lila, maybe she was Kinsley’s first “project” but didn’t progress to the stage of being independent? Anyway, all I know for certain is that I'm really looking forward to seeing how it turns out.
  11. Hello World, or at least DD. I'm a mid 20's mostly DL from the UK. I've lurked for many years, have been thinking of participating more actively in the community and since I've not got too much else going on during the current lockdown I decided to actually do it. Looking forward to interacting with people!
