  1. Today I ordered an EcoAble, Happy Endings and a pocket diaper from www.biggerdiapers.com with a wide variety of inserts to test as well. I figured I would try one of each to see if I have a strong preference before I ordered a bunch more. I will let you know my thoughts when they get here. Oh i also ordered a yard of zorb 2 to make some of my own inserts.
  2. I really like the bulk too. I want cloth due to sensitive skin and also a little better for the earth. Have you tried the ones from biggerdiapers.com? I dont have to worry about pp positioning as I have a vagina lol.
  3. I have seen mixed reviews on these but want to try them. If you use them or have used them, how many inserts do you use for overnight, heavy wetting?
  4. I know this is an old post, but there are some newer responses, so I am going to answer. I am a nurse, and I am SO sorry this happened to you. It obviously needs to change. But I am also going to play a little bit of devils advocate. Diapers SHOULD be available for those who need them. The reason they ARENT available is actually to prevent abuse and neglect of patients, and to keep nurses and CNAs from diapering people who don't need them because staff is overworked and may not get to you fast enough. Its a difficult and fine line to walk. Hospitals banned diapers in many instances because of abuse and neglect. What they SHOULD have done is increased staff to allow nurses and cnas to properly care for their patients and eliminate bad staff. They were trying to protect the many, without thinking of those who are truly incontinent. Its crap and as with so many other things its almost always about saving money.
  5. I have oab and some minimal bladder leaking. Endometriosis causes my OAB. Not fully incontinent but tired of the pain from trying to hold it, and tired of wet underwear. Plus always wanted to wear diapers honestly, so I gave in.
  6. We DO specifically foster and adopt lgbt kids. The need is HUGE but having a supportive county who acknowledges that isn't always there. We are lucky to live in a county that demands lgbt kids be placed in accepting homes. We have fostered 2 transgender girls, and are adopting one of them. Neither of our kids like diapers (not that we have asked but you get my drift). We have had to turn down 4 more placements this year alone because we are full, and also emotionally at capacity for the time being.
  7. Youre prices are amazing, I keep going back and looking. SO afraid to order them because I still haven't told my wife. But cloth just seems so much more affordable and i think they'd be more comfortable too.
  8. Thoroughly soaked in a very comfy teena super plus that I received as a sample today.
  9. No i dont live with my parents. Not sure how my wife would take it.
  10. I actually literally sat on the toilet a few times. It helped alot.
  11. I can only wear at work right now (backwards I know but I do homecare and my patient sleeps all night). The first night I really had a hard time releasing my bladder, still an issue at times, but I also find myself holding it in for a long time until I can get to work and get the diaper on. I don't want to pee in the toilet if I can help it. Wish I could wear 24/7.
  12. I'm from Grand Rapids but no longer live there
