  1. @DiaperboyEddie12 I appreciate you checking in with me! I am doing well, it's been a crazy couple of years but I am good overall. I also appreciate the recommendations! I have been getting notifications about activity on this post and it's had me thinking about getting active again. You succeeded in this, thank you :)
  2. I am trying to figure out what is the thickest disposable diaper on the market. I am not looking for thickest when wet but the thickest fresh out of the package. I appreciate any help I can get.

I would love to meet some other AB/DL's, I think we could have an active AB/DL community in NM if we tried.

Hey Puppy paw, No need to be embarrassed around here we are all happy to talk to you. Private message me if you would like.
  5. Let's keep comment on topic, he didn't ask for opinions on his engagement.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that she is criticizing you for wearing diapers, hearing that from a friend or family member can be very hurtful. Don't let her criticism ruin what makes you happy, like everyone else said there are way worse things that you could be doing. I suggest finding your own place when possible so that you are free to live your life how you choose. In the meantime I recommend that you keep a small diaper stash around, this way you still have diapers but will be less likey to have difficulties created by the attitudes of others. Hang in there things will get better.

That's a shame, I wish our state had a more active community. Do you know if southern Colorado has much of a community?

Are they many AB/DL's up around Santa Fe?

Hey just wanted to see how many people in New Mexico are still active on this site. Maybe we can get a bunch of us together sometime for a munch or something. Please leave a comment with what part of the state you are in. I'm in the Roswell, area.
  10. I'm 60% AB and 40% DL. Both side come out at different times.
  11. I live in a rural area, my town and surrounding towns probably have 100,000 people if that living in them. Including myself there are roughly 3 to 5 AB/DL's living in my city at the moment, and possibly 2 or 3 living in the towns near by. Assuming all of these people still live here that's about 8 per 100,000 people, which translates to 1 per 12,500 people. This doesn't account for closeted AB/DL people and for possible population changes so I have no way of being 100% accurate. But based of my results from living in a conservative part of rural New Mexico, I am inclined to agree with the estimate of 1 in 1000 people in Western cultures may have some AB/DL tendencies.
  12. Hi Behr, I can very much relate to your situation in a lot of ways. I too have struggled with self acceptance and with worries over my wife's acceptance. Being AB/DL or any variation of our community is hard, especially when it comes to relationships. I have good and bad news to share with you. First the good, you have made it past what is probably going to be the hardest part which is telling her that you are AB/DL. The bad news is that you may have a long road ahead of you. It may take months or possibly a couple of years for your girlfriend to fully come to terms with this but that's alright. The worst thing you can do is make her feel pressured or rushed into thos, give her space but be open with her. Self acceptance is a gratual process and sadly is not an over night thing. I listened to a AB/DL postcast https://www.thelittlelounge.com , Lo's podcast has helped me in a major way for self acceptance. Most episodes are around 20 minutes long and are very helpful. I suggest looking through the episodes and finding some the pertain to you and your situation.
  13. I'm sorry for the loss of your relationship, it is never easy to lose someone you love. I suggest take a break from diapers for a little while so that way they are able to be a positive thing for you rather than just something you shared with your ex. If I were you I would wait a month or two and then wait for a cold evening at home, put one on to be comfortable and do something you enjoy. It will make it into a positive experience and may be cathartic. My next bit of advice is give yourself time to recover from the loss of your relationship. Trying to rush to recovery will only cause you more pain, just like with a physical injury you need rest for it to heal. Give yourself time to be you and to experience life again, it may not feel like it at the moment but life will start to feel good again in time. It took me 6 months to recover from the break up I experienced before my current relationship. Things will get better and you will be able to wear again. Until then be kind to yourself.
  14. I am currently a college student so I only work part time. I work retail at a small business when the owner needs help and I do odd jobs such as landscaping and light handyman work. I have been doing this for about a year now, prior to this I spent a couple of years working at one of the corporate offices of a fortune 500 company.
