I am incontinent, but also enjoy being a lil once in a while. Last week we had a couple of cold rainy days and i was in my lil mood so I was wearing my pull ups and white leggings around the house. My pull ups are definitely visible through the white leggings but it was just me and my dog around the house so I didn't care. After getting my big girl chores done I needed to run to the store. I put a over sized sweatshirt on that I though covered my diaper and headed out. I went to the grocery store, Walmart, home depot, the medical supply store where i get my big girl diapers, and then decided to stop at Starbucks to get a big girl coffee. As I was getting my coffee I felt the urge to go #2. I am not one that enjoys that in my diaper, so I went to the car and grabbed my diaper bag and slipped into the restroom. As I walked in I noticed in the mirror, much to my horror, my diaper was on full display, my sweatshirt was not covering me. I had been all over town waddling around displaying my diaper to the world. I undressed, removed my diaper, did my thing and realized all I had was big girl diapers and no black leggings in my bag (I had leaked the day before and hand forgotten to add a new back up pair.) So, on goes the big bulky big girl diaper, up goes the white leggings, I pull the sweatshirt down as much as I can but it t do any good. I cleaned up and scampered out to my car and home. Lesson learned, always always check my look before going out and about I snapped the pics in the mirror before I changed

I will add my 2 cents here as well: I fly 1-2 times a month. First off I am incontinent so I have to wear all the time. Second I learned a long time ago to always, and I mean always go change my diaper just before getting in the security line. Any time my diaper has much in it, I get pulled from line, pat down, carry on gone through. When this happens, they usually will ask me to change my diaper and go through security again with the dry diaper Third, I always fly with 1 change of cloths and 1 pair of leggings and over sized sweat shirt in my carry on so in case I leak, I have something to change into. Talk about a PITA to change in an air plane restroom. 4th, no powder, even if its under the three ounces. sometimes they let it go, usually they wont. Not worth the hastle. 5th, anti rash cream/ointment (a must for me) find travel size ones (amazon)

Thx for sharing, I so wish there were reviews like this when I first became incont. I tried so many different diapers before I found what worked best for me.

I have been incontinent and in diapers for a few years. I had laser done and now I go in for touch up treatments every 6 months or so. When I first had to start wearing i shaved, and I would rash something terrible in my diaper area. The laser has worked for me very well

As a former ABDL that is now incontinent, i will say the fun has worn off. I remember the days of wondering what it would be like to be diapered 24/7, going a few weeks sometimes and then stopping and putting panties back on. But as others have mentioned in this thread, once you loose all control over it, it takes you in a new direction. My incontinence was due to a car crash and I am lucky to be alive and not have a colostomy bag as well. I wear McKesson Briefs Ultras for my everyday diaper, at night I add a booster to help lesson the chance of leaks. However I still keep a rubber sheet under my fitted one because sometimes accidents happen. Sometimes if I want to wear something more form fitting i will go with a goodnights pull up (thankfully I can still fit in the XL size), but then I have to change even more frequently. Due to the events, my coworkers know about my situation and no one bats an eye at work anymore. However i can relate to some of the comments here about having to lug a diaper bag around, changing in public restrooms, walking out with a wet diaper in hand past a crowd of other women....or like last week at target, I was in the handicap stall when a little girl poked her head under just as I finished taping back up, I smiled at her and she scampered back to her mother and loudly announced to the entire room that they is a lady in there that wears diapers. You could hear a pin drop (i hide in the stall for another 10 min hoping no one was still there). But I also have had to give up some activities I use to enjoy, long hikes, and running are out as I chaff easily and it looses its fun. I have to be careful sometimes with my wardrobe. At home, where it is just me, I wear leggings all the time, but in public? No. Ok, now occasionally I will wear leggings with a pull up on wearing a sweater skirt in the fall or winter. Now to 2 other things I have experienced that I don't think have been mentioned here. One is flying and TSA. I mentioned an experience on this board before about it before. In short, never go though TSA with a wet diaper. Every time I do, and have to go through the body scanner, I get flagged, pulled to the side, patted down, asked to change and then re scanned (guess they are looking for diaper bombs, but I digress......) I add an additional 30-40min just for this situation when arriving at the airport The second is dating and having a love life as a middle aged woman that is incontinent. I have met many a person in my Vanilla life that even when I am upfront about my situation, and they say they are fine with it, it turns out that they really are not when the relationship gets physical. (imagine a nice romantic evening, things are going well and you end up in the bedroom, the crinkle of the rubber sheet....the fact that I leak/trickle at any moment.....I get it, its a lot to process) With that said, when dating (either a man or woman, I am bi), I want someone that loves me for who I am, not because I wear diapers. I have a hard line between the fact I wear diapers, and looking for love and I don't want the 2 to cross. I don't want the fetish lifestyle to dictate the relationship. Yes there are plenty of people that are into the fetish side of diapers, and I use to be one of them. I don't see anything wrong with that. I just want someone to love all of me. It is tough, I have even broken a heart or 2 because of my hard stance on this. So all that to say, I totally get the idea/fantasy of wanting to be diapered 24/7, but there are costs? Barbie

i have worn Goodnights for a few years for when I want to wear tighter clothing. I love them and how they fit, but as I am incontinent. I do have to change them more frequently. For the rest of the time I wear McKeeson Briefs as that is what my insurance will pay. But I love the Goodnights and would suggest them to anyone needing a more discreet diaper. Barbie

for under tight clothing I usually wear Huggies goodnights and change frequently, for overnight and bulkier clothing I wear McKeesion Brief Ultra, as that is what my insurance will pay for Barbie

about a year ago I was flying out of Phoenix AZ. I am diapered 24/7. Usually I change into a dry diaper before security, but this time i was running late and went through with a very wet one. I had to go throught the full body scanner and TSA apparently didn't know what to do. I was pulled aside (to a private room), and had to explain what i was wearing and why, they went through my diaper bag, pulling out my spare diapers, wipes, rash cream, and clean cloths (incase of leaks) after a while they finally asked me to go change into a dry diaper and go back through security. Again they patted me down, then handed me my bag and let me go on my way. I will never try to go through security there again with a wet diaper.
