  1. As a man keeping a diaper in the car is probably the only way while going about daily activities. However changing a diaper is going to need to be done in a bathroom. So if I'm out in my car I have to find a store or if I'm already in one I have to go out to the car and that presents the first problem. How to get it in the store. If I have it in a bag they most likely would want to check the bag and if I stuff it in my cloths someone might suspect shoplifting. Also the inconvenience of changing a diaper while dropping you pants and lifting a shirt plus trying keep this kind of quite is tough. I often wished I had a van, imagine just going in the back of your van lying down or on your knees and getting to change your diaper anytime! Plus you could keep all of your supplies in there. Sure would beat having to use plastic pants as a backup in the summer. One thing I've been doing for years. Under my car seat I have a waterproof cloth seat protector. Just in case my diaper leaks the seat itself will be protected. Today I was wearing an Assurance with a Depends booster. After going to a few stores and getting gas I really soaked it. So since I was expecting a leak I took the protector over the seat covers, but the diaper didn't leak! Phil
  2. I'll check about the Sween Cream. I went to Wal-Mart looking for the bag balm, I found something that was similar called Utter... I didn't get it because I was then wondering if there are any oils in it that will rot my plastic pants! I wear disposables at night and when I get up I put on plastic pants to prevent leaks. Phil
  3. Curious to know what you use to prevent and treat diaper rash. At night I always add baby powder. But the other morning when I woke up my testicles were burning. So I'm back to adding a barrier, extra step since I'm diapering in bed I need to use a glove to apply the barrier. I use zinc oxide, A&D and Provon's barrier. There was one that I love {RashMist} and use to get from Wal-Mart. I can't get it there anymore and it's expensive for a 2.5 oz. bottle. It's great since you spray it on and it feels so cool going on. Is anyone familiar with bag balm, I hear good things about it. Phil
  4. Yeah I guess sealing them and holding them to sell for cash might make sense at this point. Gathering them and putting them some where other than my diaper cabinet would help to give me more room. If I were to use them I would photograph them and video tape them to remember. Either way, sell or special weekend makes them sound like a special bottle of wine, I guess for AB/DL's it's exactly the same. Ah, Attends vintage 1996, a very good year for Attends! Phil
  5. I had a hard time coming up with a topic title to describe what I want to discuss. This is what I've been doing for years. As most of us do, we get samples and try many different types of disposable diapers. We have our standards that we use and replace. I've found that I tend not to finish up a bag of diapers or finish samples because I then won't have that diaper anymore. I have a diaper that is still in it's bag and is the last one that was purchased in 1993! I also have a couple left of the Attendto diaper, this was a bag that was sent to me in 1996 or 97 from the makers of Attends to evaluate a new version, {it never made it to the market}. I have a few more examples like this along with a stash of samples. I hate to use them up because as with some they don't make them anymore and some brands change their styles. Mostly I find this annoying and I would like to use them up so maybe it really is hoarding. Phil
  6. Wow, I'm happy for you! Wish I had an experience like that. The nearest I came to that type of experience is in my dreams. Maybe they can get that cashier to train the ones in my local store! Phil
  7. Are there any other AB/DL's in TN? More specific, middle TN. I am a male and I'm straight. I'm interested in meeting any sexual preference or gender over 18. Currently there is a void in my lifestyle as a DL, the internet is great but it lacks human intervention, which causes me to miss out on fully enjoying not my fetish but my lifestyle. When I first came to TN in the mid 90's the AB/DL community was active. Right now there are only a handful left or no one wants to go beyond their computers in reaching out. Back in the 90's there were many who were hesitant to meeting in person. If you feel this way, you'll be surprised and relieved to find out how much we have in common about our fetish/lifestyle/kink and our similarity of our formative years that led to this. I'm hoping to create a local support group. That would encompass as mention to support our desires and to meet in person, phone conversations and chatting online. So not only would this help in the AB/DL role but also help in making new friends. Imagine having a friend that even when you are doing other things you can freely talk about diapers and not have to worry about hiding your stuff! I miss the days when two more could get together and talk freely face to face about diapers. I also found common interest in other lifestyles and kinks when meeting in person. If we can find at least a handful we could also plan activities. Hopefully this gets out to others here in TN! Phil
  8. The only thing lately has been adding a lot of cornstarch at night to the point where it's very clumpy in the morning. Phil
  9. Thanks, That's the interesting thing about the medical field. He mentions the prostate but doesn't bother to check the prostate or for testing. In at least the last 5 to 8 years Doctors don't want to do much. They don't even want to do physicals! It's scary, I do know with this Doctor and the past recent few I need to manage my health care and get my info from online. Thanks again Angela. Bye, Phil
  10. Thinking about it now I'm surprised the Doctor didn't ask me if I was having sex or to restrain from it without a condom. Phil
  11. After a horrible weekend I went to my Doctor this morning to find out I have a severe urinary tract infection. He said there was lots of blood in my urine and typical when men get it the first time it's severe. He mentioned it could be caused by the prostate. But here's my question, could it be diapers? A number of years ago I trained myself to wet at night so I must wear diapers to bed. During the day I'll wear diapers when I can and I need to wear pull-ups' or at least a Depend Guard for small leaks after urinating. So can anyone help me? I need to know if this might be the cause and since I need absorbent padding what should I do, change more often, get up in the middle of the night to change my diaper? Thanks, Phil
  12. Years ago I was at a Mistresses house and she ordered me to take out her garbage during the daytime in just my diaper. I always go on job interviews in a disposable diaper and plastic pants. I've gone to the dentist diapered, sometimes the mound in my crotch is hugh and I need to squash it down. Phil
  13. Hey, as long as you use diapers who are one of us and thank you! I agree with DiaperboyKR, I would think at some time you would start using them for their indented use. I also feel the same about being upset and that I wasted a diaper when I only used it a little. If it's not soaked it was a waste. Phil
  14. You're right, I have no idea what others toilet habits are. I'm not one who is suffering from bowel incontinence but when I have an upset gut and or diarrhea it's hard for me to feel comfortable going out without protection, and yes there will be an occasional accident although minor but it's minor because of protection. I guess because I use diapers for wetting I feel that when I'm not 100% I need the security of diapers for my bowels, it must go with the territory of being a DL! Again I just have the curiosity to know what others do, plus I've been always private with bathroom issues. As a kid I would never tell my mother that I had diarrhea, I would just say my stomach hurts to get out of school. I still have to say that there is no way someone who uses dry toilet paper is going to be clean, unless they take a shower. I guess that is one of my pet peeves with society! And the use of wipes unlike diapers isn't a kink, just practical common sense. Now coming down from my soapbox, Phil
  15. Thanks to all for your thoughts. I should say that I don't like to mess in a diaper, too messy. Sometimes at home I'll do it once in awhile for the experience. I'm suggesting though that when having problems when you're not so clean and need ointment the diaper is a must. When I have the runs I'll go to the toilet but it's nice to know that those small accidentally leaks are secured in a diaper. So if I'm out in public such as work I would be devastated if I had a significant accident in my diaper at work because of the smell but if I was just wearing underwear the accident would be coming down my pants and I would have to leave my job! But going back to my thoughts of how the average person deals with this. If you have a small leak at work then what would you do? You know that you can't sit because it will go through the underwear to your pants. Phil
  16. I'm so glad that I'm a diaper lover because I give myself the opportunity to use diapers to help myself. Today is the third day that I'm having bowel problems, my gut is turning and I'm having frequent bowel movements. So my butt is pretty sore from wiping. I can't understand how the others {normal people, vanilla's, toilet slaves or whatever} deal with what to at times like this, for us is a simple solution. I have my wipes, that makes it easier to wipe, I don't have to be to clean and I can add lots of lotion to accelerate the healing because at least during the day I'll wear pull up diapers. I've been using wipes for 25 years, I remember a few years into using wipes in the 80's seeing a commercial where they actually were selling adult wipes. There was a lady talking about her husband needing to be cleaner. But of course that didn't seem to kick some sense into the general population. So what does the general population do when they are having some bowel stress. I've been into diapers almost my whole life so I don't know how they deal with this. Do they save old underwear and maybe put 2 or 3 of them on? This morning after using wipes I applied ample amount of diaper creme, unless there is some water proof seal the ointment would eventually move to my pants. I'm diapered 24/7, at night and most of the times I go shopping or to the movies I'm wearing a regular diaper, other than those times I'm wearing a pull up diapers {Pull-up's}. I firmly believe that every household should have a pack of pull-ups for such occasions but then with the hang-up's this will never be. I sometimes panic to think if all of a sudden I lost the assessable to diapers and wipes, I don't know what I would do. Not to offend anyone but come on, if you just use dry toilet paper, sorry, you aren't clean! People might think wearing diapers is dirty but most people are more dirty simple because they aren't cleaning themselves with toilet paper! I'm hoping others can comment on what the general population does, maybe you know what your spouse does or maybe you remember what you did years ago. Bye, Phil
  17. These are maximum absorbency! BTW, even though the tape can be pulled back and re-applied without any apparent lose, they pop, so one try, that's it. Still as mentioned very nice soft plastic, great to walk around with just a t-shirt. Phil
  18. I just bought a pack of Large Assurance Diapers{16} for $8.47 +tax. Yep, as mentioned still plastic! I last tried them about 2 years ago. I'm looking for an easy to purchase diaper to replace Depends since they have gone down in quality. Got home from Wal-Mart and got my out of my soaking Depend diaper. Opened the package of Assurance and was blown away at how thin they are and the lack of padding on the sides. Anyway I love the extra soft white plastic, very babyish, it feels so good! The 2 tapes on each side seem to be good. I did put a Depends soaker pad in it. I'm sitting here diapered and still dry, hopefully {although not promising since they are thin} they can replace the Depends diapers and save me some money. Phil
  19. Okay you decided not to put your diaper on today before heading out or you're one of those that never re-discovered diapers and you are a prisoner of the toilet! http://www.tena.us/consumer/BathroomFinder.aspx How Sad, Phil
  20. This seems more practical for adult diapers. It might be tough at times to change a babies diaper but no one would be shocked. I would like to go in the bathroom and pull out the pad for a fast discreet change. Phil
  21. I use Tranquility ATN for night time. I always use a Huggies size 5 overnight as a stuffer with 4 slits, combined it a great diaper system! Phil

  24. Hi, I added a post for AB/DL's in Middle TN, I'm 15 minutes north of Downtown Nashville. Let's connect. Phil
  25. It seems that there are no AB/DL's in middle Tennessee or that they are too shy! Oh well, sad and lonely in middle Tennessee! Phil
