  1. As previously posted, I agree. This is a very refreshing! We might have a fetish and lean towards to diapers but it's time the general public wake up and realize the benefits of diapers and pull-ups. I just had my 3rd colonoscopy this past week. I wore a pull-up the day before and the day after, including wearing one to the facility. This lady is one who would realize the common sense of wearing one too.
  2. Happy New Year everyone! Hoping for a prosperous year and an enjoyable year in diapers for all of us.
  3. No way can these handle 1/4 gallon. Tried 3 times. The maxiumun wet weight is 9 oz.
  4. I bought some Cushies, Super dry Kids and Megaboosters. After using one I wash it out and I'm thinking well it must be reusable. Does anyone know for sure?
  5. AngelFluff, never again! Real jerks!
  6. Back in 1996 I bought cloth diapers from the Murphy Diaper Company. They were great diapers. They are no longer in business. Does anyone know what happen to them?
  7. I've been using Tranquility ATN's for years. These diapers are great, if you want a superior diaper add a Huggies size 5 overnite with 4 slits. This is what I call a Hugquility diaper, far better than any other diaper! Keep in mind proper diapering techniques, tighter fits and fold over the plastic at the front leg section. The tapes on these diapers are poor, but what I do is use diaper pins in the tapes, this is something I've used for a year and it's great!
  8. Okay so I've been into diapers since age 4 or earlier. The interest in diapers again appeared in puberty and now at the age of 49 I'm into diapers more than ever. No doubt in my teens into adult life it was a fetish. Since I enjoyed diapers so much I was very comfortable with them. So it was no surprised that I made diapers a lifestyle. I wear diapers about half of the day and have successfully trained myself to wet at night. So at night for convenience I wear diapers and during the day for the fetish. So here's my question, if one starts an interest at age 4 or younger can it really be called a fetish at that age? Skip ahead to current day, based on my past and the convenience factor is this still considered a fetish? What could one call it?
  9. Does anyone know if there's a story behind this picture. It seems more than just a lady dressing in diapers? http://www.dailydiapers.com/content/a003.html
  10. Last night as I was diapering myself in my bed I had the radio on listening to a call-in medical show. A caller had a complaint about cramps while sleeping, the Doctor had said one problem could be he's not drinking enough water. He mentioned that one of the best times to drink water is at night. However he said most people don't want to drink that much at night since they don't want to get up and run to the bathroom. I drink a full glass of water right before going to bed. Just another reason to wear a diaper to bed! Years ago I heard wearing diapers helps to prevent hemorrhoids, the reasoning is the moisture helps to prevent them. Be diapered and happy!
  11. Okay I've had my bed cover for a month now for $19.95, free shipping. I bought from Secure Personal care, 36" x 54" {SR836}. I wish it was wider but other than that it's great! Seems like it will hold up through many washes. Thanks!
  12. Well I'm glad my parents never found out but if they did I would have felt better if they understood and what better way to show this by providing diapers. If this happened I would have been better off, I can't believe what I had to do to get them and worse storing my used diapers till I could throw them away, it was disgusting!
  13. My point would be if you were discovered. Wearing diapers isn't the same as buying pot. If they find out keep it simple and provide them what they want, diapers. Thisw way they don't have to sneak out and buy them and feel guilty.
  14. The other morning as I laid in bed with my wet disposable diaper I was wondering how nice it would have been in my young teens if I was just allowed to be diapered. I can remember my first DL experiences at the age of 4, my desire was suppressed until puberty. In my young teens my first attempts to get back in diapers was putting on an old t-shirt as a diaper. Then the nerve racketing experience going to a local market to buy a box of Pampers. I'm 49 so at this age there was no Internet to find I wasn't alone. I thought I was the only person in the world that did this! Up to my 20's I figured for sure by my 30's I would be over this, yeah right, the desire is stronger than ever before. Over 10 years ago I spent 2 years in cloth diapers every single night. Now for over 5 years I've been diapered every night in a disposable. Going back to my topic, during the rest of the day I was feeling very peaceful thinking how nice it would have been if I was discovered my parents they wouldn't mind and just get me adult diapers. I didn't think too much about the logistics of how this would transpire. But maybe if my parents found out that I like diapers {finding a box of Pampers} they would think okay he likes diapers, let him wear the correct size ones. If they came to me with adult{teen}size diapers and said wear these to bed for now on I'm sure being new to this and still figuring it out I would say no. But since I would have the right size diapers and the shame and the hiding diapers was gone, maybe I would slowly get into wearing them every night. I'm wondering if I had children what would I do if I found my teenager with a stash of diapers? I honestly believe I would give him/her adult size diapers and just have a short discussion about it. I wouldn't tell them about me but I would say there is some responsibility with using diapers, ex. if their friends find out and if you wear a wet diaper in bed or sitting on a chair you need to use bed/chair protectors.
  15. I'd like to find where Angela gets the Secure Solution Waterproof Sheeting. What I'm using now has the fabric on one side and the plastic backing on the other. I have a full mattress 'waterproof bag' this is the backup. I use the bed protector to keep the sheets dry. Phil
  16. Angela, I've done a search but I can't find this product. Where do you get it from? Thanks, Phil
  17. Does anyone know where I can buy a large bed protector? The size I'm looking for is 39" X 56". Up to now I bought mine from Sears but the brand from Sears now uses a cheap outer plastic that rips easily. Phil
  18. I just opened the first bag of my new case last night. I forgot about this topic until I opened the first tape, no more sound of the adhesive ripping. But as mentioned if the the new adhesive is better or worse I won't know since I use pins. Not sure if there is any other change, I think it's my imagination that the plastic seems smoother. Phil
  19. Go to your Doctor or a walk-in pharmacy clinic, they won't ask how you got it. Years ago in my crotch area I was cherry red, the dermatologist only said "wow", gave me a prescription and it started to heal within hours. This is after suffering with it for a few weeks, never again, this is what the medical community is for! Phil
  20. @sarah_ab, This is true but along the line of other really embarrassing things you mention is the fact that I use Huggies Overnites as a stuffer. Now I don't buy the Huggies online but if someone found my stash in my room I could let them just deal with the fact I need ADULT diapers but trying to explain the BABY diapers is something else. All I can thing is to say someone told me that children diapers are more absorbent than adult diapers and it just a smart tip to add them for absorbency, which is the truth anyway. It's sad how much grief we put in our life to do what we want but worry about what others might think. Phil
  21. @sarah_ab, I'm just saying if the fun part was gone I feel that during the day sometimes diapers are a very helpful need. I could never be a cop or taxi driver! Phil
  22. This is true but savings, stocks, funds and cash advancing, going fast but if I'm not diapered in bed I will need to buy a new mattress! Phil
  23. Sophie, you are very wise for your age! I guess it goes along the line, "what doesn't kill you makes you stronger"! Phil
  24. @glenndl, we have much in common. I wish though I had real time diaper friends. My post about yesterday is just a shout-out to other DL-AB's here, I LOVE MY DIAPERS! It's also proof that diapers can be practical besides being a fetish. But then again as I first posted, I'm preaching to the choir. However as I get older and if I'm exposed I will not give up my diapers and just explain I need them. Phil
  25. So today is a special day, another delivery of my Tranquility ATN's via FedEx. I've been buying diapers online for years. Still I fear delivery time and I always hope to be the one to answer the door. If someone gets nosy they can look inside the handle cut out and see more than what I bargain for! The worst thing I've had so far is seeing the driver carrying two cases across the lawn as the handle part rips from the weight revealing even more! Today I've been waiting for hours for FedEx to arrive. Today here in Nashville it's pouring again, an already flooded Nashville from 2 weeks earlier. So I sat down and checked on my delivery, I then see that it's been delivered just minutes earlier and left at the front door, great, let me get it before anyone else and before the box gets soaked. So I check, front and back but no box! I then jump in my car to check the rest of the block, all I need is a neighbor to know my business! As I'm driving the pea size hail is whipping against my car with the help of strong winds. So after checking the next door neighbors I rush back into the garage before I lose the windshield. I then called FedEx, I think the rep was from India, another topic I guess! So now they will contact the local hub. Then the rain subsides, I get back in the car and check the whole block, just as I pull in my driveway here comes FedEx, 40 minutes after they said they left it at the front door! Ugh, I don't need this! Phil
