  1. Good question. The fascination with diapers was there, but the plastic pants was a horny teenagers dream come true. Still can't get enough of the plastics, although the diaper is now a necessary component of every day life (as it has for the last 25+ years).

Did the early fascination further the need? Probably... Boy Scout -- always be prepared... Never know when you'll be horny or peeing.

Update I have lost much more control since the post last yr, but my ins will not cover them maybe medicare would cover if I was to get brave to have all of the testing done. Maybe my Primary Dr will just do what he can without all of the testing that I have read about on here.

Let me know when/if you get ins/Medicare to pay for them. It's so far out of the realm of possibility it doesn't even occur in this universe. Diapers just don't exist in those US worlds. When it applies, it usually relegates you to some sort of crap that's  substandard not worth crapping in.

I'm looking to expand my collection of diaps to 4 tape / tab diapers and I need to know ones that aren't like the pink princess one. I want ones that are white with cute designs like Rearz Critter Caboose.

Crinklz has several prints. I don't know for sure, but the ones I've bought are white with designs in black ink.

I'd rather they take some blood than go into a diabetic coma from sugars too high, have anemia or liver issues.  Blood tests are there to try and ward off any developing problems.

Man... You're no fun. Living on the edge is fun.

  5. As usual, I'm late to the game. I get the majority of my plastics from Changing Times Diaper Company. They sell Gary products which makes most of the plastics on the market. There are literally hundreds of sites that sell the Gary's under their own brand name such as Leakmaster. CTDC has the complete range of plastics in solid and print colors that meet your needs.

What you're asking for is very common. Usually leg/waist openings are elastic and not rapped with plastic. Forward facing leg holes are the norm. I don't know why it is, but I kill them pretty quickly. I also have PUL pants which after a few washing begin to feel rubber like but still prefer the good old fashioned vinyl.

  6. I am by no means an expert on this subject.

My first ex hurt her back working at a nursing home and had a hell of a time getting anything. She had all sorts of doctor's visits with little or no results. She ended up taking a settlement from her employer wihich included separation.

I, myself, had no trouble getting it as I went blind. Easy to prove; an open and closed case happened pretty quickly. Had to wait for short/long term from employer before it went into effect.

Can't get diapers though. Tried hard and failed. Michigan doesn't do MedicAid when MediCare takes over. Couldn't qualify as I made too much money.

@rusty pins yes the reason I am thinking of wearing a diaper to my doctors appointment is like you said to get a thrill by being seen by my doctor and nurses in a diaper. If I do decide to wear I will be honest and tell them it is my preferred underwear and I will do like you said and wait for the doctor to see it and let him or her know that a diaper is just my preferred underwear. Hopefully they understand and know about ab/dl people.

Like many others have stated, it's your hangup. Just do it. You'll find you were sweating bullets for nothing. They will not care about your choice of underwear.

Always standing and I never back into a wall to help.  I can diaper myself free standing and yes, bottom left tape, bottom right tape, then pull tight and do the top left and top right.  Sure I may have to reposition a tape for a more snug fit, but with dual tapes on most premium diapers and the Velcro tapes for cloth backed diapers, that is never a problem.

    The only way to go.

  9. According to my discussions with XP Medical, and as to my experience with ConfiDry, they went to hell. XP tells me that they were totally non-responsive to the quality issues. Those issues included poor quality control. Diapers were of inconsistent material, thickness and weight. Tabs were literally unglued, badly cut, or had differing amounts of glue on each tab. Absorbancy differed from diaper to diaper. In other words, they became unpredictable.

XP Medical informed me that ConfiDry did not respond to inquiries, complaints, or other forms of questions and correspondence. Consequently, they have decided to drop them.

On the other hand, or diaper, they've had the opposite response with Better Dry. They not only respond to questions, they also act quickly to resolve XP's questions and issues. Consequently, they've shifted from Confidru to Better Dry and have also shifted me some time ago. They address quality and tape issues quickly.

In the end, it seems that Better Dry was the always the better choice but took time to get there.

Price wise, they are a tad bit less, but you get 15/bag instead of 22.

Rearz...does not have the best track record regarding decisions in the ABDL world and they've had quite a few scandals that went viral in ABDL circles. But damn they do know how to make a good diaper.

Really? What's the scoop for the poop? I love scandals.

The email I got said only the mediums were going away, and I checked and the mediums are gone but the large is still there ( better hurry ) I see xp medical is in the two day shipping range for me. anyone deal with them? can I trust them? I would like to try the xp 5000 anyone know how they compare to better dry? Thanks for any advice you can give.

I have used XP Medical since 2018.

Their customer service is fast, responsive, and accurate. Agents are kind, accurate and good natured (playful if you approach it that way.

They contact me when necessary and don't increase prices without notification. This is a top rate company as far as I'm concerned.

Received an email from North Shore stating that the BetterDry was being discontinued and once their stock had been depleted that was it..

Anyone know if this is just a North Shore thing or have other vendors sent out notices as well?

Hope not... It's my daily diaper -- get it thru XP Medical. It's economical for a high-end diaper (from them) and replaced the crappy, poor quality Confi Dry 24/7 became.

    Northshore's probably eliminating competition.

I’m not sure if the question is about physical or psychological ‘feeling’.

For the physical, well, that’s just like wearing diapers any other time except that it’s ALL the time.  It’s a little bulky, it can be a little be hot, a little humid and it’s not always great for physical flexibility but I don’t mind.  Sometimes however it’s quite nice having your own private cushion to sit on.  After a few weeks, their presence starts to be less noticeable and in my case, I started to not notice being wet that much.  It became normalised.  Leaks happen and they suck but that gets better over time.

It seems that the price of the convenience of being able to pee in your pants is a substantial amount of inconvenience.  It requires time, effort, money and planning

The main benefit for me was psychological.

When I used to wear diapers intermittently I found myself in one of two headspaces.  One, thinking about how I’d rather be diapered and how long it was going to be before I could get back into a diaper and Two, IN a diaper but fretting about how long before I had to come back OUT of it.  My low level anxiety about having to NOT wear diapers was starting to get in the way of the comfort I derived when I WAS wearing diapers.

    24/7 resolved ALL of that.

    • There is no beginning.  There is no end.  I am literally ALWAYS diapered.  The borderless/endless cycle of diapering comforts me strangely and deeply.
    • I don’t need to think about non-diapered time because there isn’t any: just diaper changes.
    • I don’t have to control my pee because there is literally no point.  It’s all going into my pants anyway and diapers prefer dribbles to floods so I don't bother.
    • If I start bedwetting (which of course I did), well that’s one less reason to wake up and I’ll be well-diapered anyway so why care?
    • If my continence erodes (and that is slowly happening), it’s irrelevant.  I don’t use my continence anymore and I'll always be diapered anyway.
    • I am being the way I want to be, all the time.  I am what I am.  Who wouldn’t want that?

An absolutely fantastic response!!!! Coudn't say it any better!!!

Ultimately, I really cannot tell by feel alone that difference between normal underwear and a diaper. Sticking the hand down there and feeling bulk or plastic confirms the presence of a diaper.

Have you or do you wear underwear over your diaper?

I had this idea of doing this and went out and purchased a 3 pack of new underwear and put one on over my diaper, it looked good and did a fair job of concealing the diaper, however when my wife found out she was mad as he**.

Never in a million hears. My diapers are my ONLY underwear -- no matter where I go or what I do...

  15. Once you get over the "everyone will find out" paranoia stage and you work into the "I just don't care who knows" stage, then you've arrived. The circumstance or the kind of clothing just doesn't matter anymore (by putting on plastics over the diaper) which is an awesome way to kill diaper noise and people just don't pay attention outside of themselves and probably won't notice unless you sound like a garbage truck. I am keenly aware of those around me and they completely miss it --and when I tell them I'm diapered they either ignore my statement or they keep on doing/going without a hitch (like nothing happened).

  16. So, do you play on the wilds side? Hoping you won't wet the bed as you take the risk by not using some kind of bed pad and/or some kind of pee resistant mattress cover?

I take the risk and don't always use the bed pad (washable). I get burned a lot and still tooo stupid to learn. Thank God for the matress protector though...
