  1. I've had zero luck with most tapes -- masking and duct tapes do not work at all. Packing tape doesn't work either. The stuff I get is supposedly real good but in practice NOT. The only tape that seems to work is the "gorilla" brand. Most of the time I can't get the backing off (it's double sided) and just place it over the tabs to make it a replacement tab. Holy hell getting it off though -- once affixed, not going anywhere ever.

    Good luck.

  2. With a 35" waist, the medium fit really well.

For the most part, they work very well. I find that I often exceed their capacity at night and have wet plastic pants; amazingly, the onesie also gets wet on the side but doesn't leak through to the bedding. It's a complete mystery to me how that happens.

The Betterdry is my daily driver. I have other brands of diapers, but for some reason keep coming back to the Betterdry by choice. It's almost automatic and is most definitely a conscious decision. Caution: These diapers are habit forming and create dependency.

I should emphasize for the sake of honesty that I am "wearing" diapers, rather than living in diapers, at the moment, IE, I am being selective about use, no messes, and am allowing myself potty privileges if my diaper is past 50% and I'm not in a position to swap my diaper any time soon. One thing this experiment has done is emphasize for me how much I am enjoying this, how "right" I feel. I am also happy to report that I can quickly settle into normal social interactions and just be myself - one concern I had was that being diapered might cause me to be less myself, less confident, less forward, something detectable. I don't want to impose this strange fetish on other people, I simply want to be the same person I always have been, while wearing a diaper.

That's just smart. Adapt to the situation. That's how to operate. You're a good boy.

From the same storm our rain gauge (Georgia) showed 3 plus inches in roughly 12 hours.  What would that be in snow, perhaps 30 inches!

From weather sources and personal trials/tribulations, one inch of rain equates to 6" of snow. 3" of rain is roughly equivalent to 18" of snow. Happy trails to you!!!

... these days I NEED a guard or goodnights or else I will end up with damp pants at some point, no matter how much i try shaking it off in the bathroom or trying to fully void, I WILL end up damp with no protection.

Congrats. You will continue to get even wetter as time wanes. Your male bladder sphincter is failing and will continue to spaz and weaken to the point that your toddler underwear will get wetter and wetter  without any help from you. That's when you know you've really arrived.

  6. The snow has finally hit northern Michigan too. Temperatures are dropping and snow is accumulating. After all, it is January. We're forecast a foot in the next few days. But, the forecasters are almost always wrong and try to instill panic. We ignore them. We deal with whatever we get including soggy diapers.

  7. It is Better Dry for the majority of the time. But, if usage is up, I'll substitute a Crinklz (it's just Aquanaut because I'm swimming in pee). There's claims that those two diapers are essentially the same and I'd have to agree. I have InControl Hybrid Elite for special occasions. I'm sure there's a Rearz equivalent (but have no idea what it is). The Elite is probably the best diaper I've seen and is el primo. Too expensive for daily use, but if I was wealthy...

    I LOVE BetterDry,

...But there's a bit of a tutorial required first...

When you first open the pack of BetterDry Diapers, they need time to expand.

Take a couple out of the pack so they can Breathe.

When you grab a fresh BetterDry Diaper, the wings need a thorough stretching, otherwise you might not get the right fit.

The Landing zone doesn't allow error, and it also doesn't provide any markings for taping reference.

This creates a blank white space with little information of where each tape goes,

And once the tape it's placed it's stuck there.  You could peel off and use the Second-Chance tape but I don't recommend it...

    HOWEVER,

If you don't mind stretching the diaper before you put it on, and learning "the hard way" where each tape goes....

The BetterDry diapers are fantastic for bedwetting.

They're very cost effective and super absorbant, especially with a booster and a ProTec Brief.

Bingo!!! I'm still pretty sure they've reduced or changed the SAP. I'm not sure if they're thinner, but they are for sure softer.

Lately, I've found them to work better when giving them a kind of fluff... whipping it from the top then whipping again from the bottom. That seems to add bulk -- and stretching them from top to bottom as well as side to side. Doing this also frees up the leg guards.

Weird. I buy them directly from Rearz, but I live in Canada. However, you can select US currency on the Rearz site, and they have a $75 USD floor for no-charge shipping, all of which suggests to me that they sell direct into the US. Try going to www.rearz.ca by typing in the URL, not via searching for them in a browser and then clicking on the result, maybe? I'm no tech expert, but that's how I get on Amazon's US site - some stuff on Amazon US is not available on Amazon.ca, but typing Amazon into a browser always takes me to the .ca site, so I type www.amazon.com into the URL bar.

Just use the .CA as if it is in the US. When checking out, select the Canada Post option for shipping. It is very reasonable and takes the same amount of time as if you bought in the USA. Overcoming the Canada/US crossover is really pretty easy and painless.

No. I looked at the catalog, when I saw "diaper cover" I know it was not for me. In fact, I am thinking of removing Rears from RUBBER PANTIES'R'US. And diaper WRAP;. people ditched those for babies 25 years ago. They were not good for active infants. I had misgivings when they bought out A C Medical

What the heck is a wrap anyway?

Yeah, shipping is probably high and best if you order a lot instead of only one or two items, but at that price I say get them if you can because the most popular sizes will probably sell out fast.

Shipping is actually pretty cheap. For each of my two orders, it was a little over $5 for each order. Not bad at all.

  12. Thanks @Little Sherri -- just what the docctor ordered.

They came yesterday and are fabulous!!! Very high quality size 6 Safari print. Two of them, each with its own high quality lanyard. They came in a high quality plastic storage box. Can't stop sucking on it. Very impressed. Signed up on their website too as I took advantage of $10 onesies.

Wow!!! They have a lot of stuff there for $10! I bought the Rebel glow-in-the-dark bodysuit. All the others are just too loud.

Thanks DailyDi for letting us know!!! You'all should glom onto this as fast as you can.

Call me a liar. I couldn't help myself. I went back and ordered the Alpaca and Safari bodysuits. Just can't turn it down!!!

Rearz has a great selection, and the ones that look the most like a good old fashioned pacifier are also their cheapest - they're like $4 each. Which is good, because you want to have a bunch of them if you're going to use them with any frequency - you want to be able to clean them and let them dry or else they will start to smell like mildew, basically. The Rearz size 6 adult pacifier is the one I'm referring to - it's easy to take apart and clean thoroughly and put back together.

I like the size of them because the nipple is long enough that the shield doesn't put pressure on my teeth. I used to try and use toddler pacifiers in the 18-36 months size, but the nipple wasn't long enough so there was a constant inward pressure on the shield. Basically, if your teeth start to ache after a couple of days, your pacifier may eventually alter the shape of your dental arcade. I sleep with one every night, so for me, fit was important. In 5 years, my teeth haven't been affected.

Rearz also makes a size 10 pacifier under the Fixx moniker, but I find those huge - to me it's like trying to fall asleep with a banana in your mouth. Which, granted, maybe some people enjoy, but for me, it wasn't comfortable.

Well, I followed your advice and bought two Rearz Size 6 Safari style with lanyard from Amazon. They were $20 which means they were about $8 each which is not a bad deal. If I like it, the next purchase will be a trifecta -- two Elpaka pacifiers, an Elpaka onsie, and a case of the Elpaka diapers. Won't that be cute?
