  1. I did some research and determined the lowest price online. Then, I checked with XP Medical, my current supplier. There was a $5 difference in price. Then, I looked at shipping cost from XP. They ship at no additional charge for orders over $50 or more. If you choose to auto ship, then they knock off another 5% . Auto ship is 3 day FedEx. So with all things factored in, it's a good deal and i"ll stick with XP. And I don't have to go to Walmart to pick them up. For me, that's a plus. I'm glad the subject came up because it caused me to take a serious look at other alternatives. Thanks all .
  2. I may appear stupid, but what's KCWW?
  3. Wow. I'm sorry to hear. That's a double punch to the gut. I want to private message you, but, again with the magnification and reverse video, I could not find an icon or something in which to do it. She's at the cancer doctor this morning and didn't tell me she was on her way. She can no longer drive either and non one bothered to tell me she was leaving. I thought the appointment was Friday. Wrong again. Let me know and we'll figure a way to get together.
  4. To be fair, I'll trade you my wife''s walker, complete with handbrake and horn. She has never used it and probably won't as her time on this earth is earth is coming to an end. I'd fill your tank if I don't blow up the gas station in the process. Oops! Did I do that?
  5. Thank you very much! This really helps. The system will not allow me to "thank you" for your post. Apparently you're limited to three per day and have to use them judiciously. I had a heck of a time finding the "like" button. Somebody needs to explain to me what the other icons next to the like really mean and how they can affect you. I'm slowly learning. I didn't even know that button was there until I accidentally stumbled across it. Due to vision loss I have to magnify the screen 6x and reverse video which means I miss a lot. Thanks for your patience. You bet. Thanks for your input. I don't get Etsy and haven't yet been able to find anything. Any advice or help is greatly appreciated.
  6. Good question. If you can't get there because of physical limitations (like me) getting to the store can be a problem. I guess that's when you go to Amazon and get it delivered as stated in previous posts. Good luck!
  7. That's a good idea. It is worth doing when it saves shipping charges. Do you have to pay sales tax?
  8. Are you kid size? What is size 6? I want to wear Pampers too!
  9. XP Medical has informed me that the ID Slip Maxi diapers that I have been wearing for about four months are being eliminated from their offerings. They suggested I try Dry 24/7. Should I look for a new source for the slips or should I switch? Previous comments and reviews of the Dry 24/7 look pretty god. So should I fight or switch?
  10. Below member's info is a title reading "Members" with a plus sign and a number below it. Numbers range widely. A mouse over reveals the word "reputation." How is that number calculated or rated by other members?
  11. Yeah. I can't even go there. It just seems "off".
  12. Wow. Glad to see I'm not alone. I go through phases too. I got rid of my bottle and pacifiers as they really didn't do anything for me. Now I miss them wished I had them back. Can you be part AB?
  13. That ain't happening. I'm a BOY... biologically and otherwise period.
  14. Yep. You're right!
  15. I will heed your advice this weekend. I have a few pairs of sweatpants that also work, but are often caught unawares. I should keep them close at hand. Been caught thrice.... Once by HVAC , once by a plumber and once by the mailman (all of whom I know well). Life goes on...
  16. Thanks all. I like wearing baby clothes and have several onsies that I wear most of the time. I thought about just wearing shorts without shirt or socks and just enough to cover the diaper and plastics, just in case someone comes to the door or to go to the mailbox. Don't care if they're obvious, just enough to not cause an accident .
  17. I understand the "fear" of discovery and being discrete. That's how it was for me decades ago. Now I don't care and sometimes try to get people tol notice the bulk and/or the crinkle. Most people are distracted by the look or noise but very few will actually say anything before they're distracted by the next shiny object. I also wear onesies to help hold up the noisy diaper and noisy plastic pants. I look like a pencil with almost no hips and very little butt. Yeah, I don't get it either. But somebody must be buying or pushing them...
  18. This must be one of the dumbest questions ever posted. Maybe I'm making more complicated that it is. I apologize for wasting anyones time.
  19. I've worn cloth-like and it just doesn't feel like a "real" diaper (meaning a disposable with plastic backing). They sagged, came apart , tore and generally made a big baby mess , even hiked up with plastic panties. The plastic panties kept the mess somewhat contained. The best baby feeling is a cloth or plastic disposable with the ever present plastic panties. I like plastic (like I had to tell y'all that... NOT! ).
  20. That rocks! Back in a few....
  21. It's getting warm outside and sometimes 24/7 diapers get warm too. Anybody know where I can get "baby" shorts? Is just a pull-up sweat or gym short or is there more to it? Are there side snaps to make changing easier? I need your advice and places where they can be purchased!
  22. i was raised in cloth and plastic pants. I have a thing for plastic. Perhaps it is my age? Or was I potty trained too early?
  23. I also got a pair with a Blue Carousal print. It is 4 mil and heavily embossed with horizontal lines. Seems thicker than that. Don't really care for them but are fine over a diaper.
  24. There are two I've found that are close depending on your opinion . Both are from Baby Pants. The classic milky white (4 mil) are smooth but have some texture to the touch but ever so light. They are very soft and flexible and silent. They fit and feel good. They droop under their own weight when hanging off your finger. The other is the dinosaur print which adds just the right amount of texture. They are also 4 mil but with the print are much more substantial in wight and thickness. It probably adds another 4 mil. They are very soft and get crinkly louder with use. Washing them in warm water restores them nicely. I;m very happy with both styles, although the white are closest to the Gerber's that I remember.
  25. Hi guys. I agree that old style plastic pants are impossible to find. They all are "modernized" using forward facing leg holes and formulations. Never thought it would become so hard. But the ones I've found are darn good and are very satisfying. I am feeling like a horny teeager again!
