  1. Hehe... yeah, you got me going as well... there are times I really hate this holiday.
  2. Gotta say, I'm a huge fan of this work and I'm really happy that you keep updating it here. Thanks again for a wonderful story!
  3. Well... an interesting idea about the nanites... it could be that when they were destroyed, they were not entirely flushed.... and so, when the new ones were introduced they latched on to the nanite corpses and somehow integrated their programming... would explain the incontinence as well as why Carly was able to swim for a long and aggressive time.
  4. You know it occurs to me that should their film be successful... Kelly's name has to be in the credits as the writer...
  5. Good christ... I knew something like had to come sometime but it still hits hard... no pun intended.
  6. I was very excited seeing this post last night but was only able to read it now... it really does put you in a mental state that I can't describe well. Thank you again... I know I've said it before but I just can't say enough of how well you have developed these characters, and I look excitedly forward to the next chapters
  7. The compromise we've been waiting on... going to be really interesting to see how this plays out with the rest of the faculty and... if the Littles are lucky... how it will change Big Little integration... I have BIG hopes for them all!
  8. Holy hell... I can only agree with what the others have said... that had so much in there that I'm so glad you were able to get into words. Thank you again for your wonderful story and I hope there is still a lot more to come.
  9. Minor edit... should be "their height" given the context. Unless it was a Freudian slip?
  10. I am curious about something though... was the hot sauce competition always something that was planned? Or was that something that came about as you were writing and thought,"this could be fun..." And it is great fun too
  11. Heh, King Camulus... for some reason I keep reading King Calamitous <Grin>
  12. On that last point it has to do with imperial vs metric... .22 in = 5.6 mm Not sure if it's because Americans came up with the ammo first but that's what's its always(tm) been known as
  13. And there it is.... The entire reason Littes, and true children, act up sometimes in truly malicious ways. Because that is the only way that they can cause an effect when their world that is so tightly controlled that any good or well meaning gesture is ignored. "Good behavior" is expected, encouraged, and consumed... but nothing ever comes of it other than the momentary hit of happiness for the Amazons. And that is where I really hope this story is going. Finding that "thing" where Clark can make a positive difference in the lives around him and still feel pride in that accomplishment. Even if it doesn't... I'm enjoying the hell outa this story and the journey you're taking us.
  14. Heh, I still remember bits and pieces from the previous version... and I SO want to read the entire thing again... and as much as I want the entire thing to be released like... now... I'm very grateful that your release schedule is as fast as it is... I NEEDS my fix! ?
  15. Agreed, it just makes me appreciate all the more, the amount of work you've put into this story. Bravo!
  16. That is a point that I think needs to be explored more, and one of the reasons I really like the DD stories. It's like the reverse of coming out to the world in whatever way people need to these days. In our world, people hide the way they feel about themselves until one day they come out and hope the world can accept who they have always been. In their world, society is hiding how they feel about Littles until one day they become "immature" and they can then treat them how they have always known them to be.
  17. Intellectually... it's got to be really confusing too for Janet... I mean, instinctually you feel and react without thinking, but then you have to fight what your mind knows... it's a good gom'jabar test, that's for sure
