  1. When I am not wearing a diaper, I will wear regular underwear. Granted my underwear gets wet for several hours after I take off my diaper because I am used to having a diaper. However, I don't regularly wear pads or any other protection. How about you?
  2. Tape diapers. Pull on diapers don't have as good a fit and I am always worried about leaking. I only time that I still use pull on are at the gym
  3. I am thinking its most likely condensation. I like plastic pants over my disposables because it reduces the crinkle when I am in public, extra protection if there is a leak and now I have a third reason.
  4. Today I wore a Confidry 24/7 for 8 hours. I wore a plastic pant over it. When I took off the plastic pant, I noticed that there were beads of wetness like sweat on the plastic pant. My legs weren't sweaty so I don't think it was sweat. The leg gathers did not feel wet so I don't think I leaked. Can wetness penetrate a plastic lined diaper if you where if for a long time?
  5. Absorbency dictates the thickness that I choose. The diaper must be thick enough to hold multiple severe wettings when I am out.
  6. Definitely. It reduces the noise and the sag. I get mine from Babykins and Changing Times Diaper Company
  7. Disposable during day. Disposable with cloth (for side protection) at night
  8. My wife is aware and accepts me for who I am. She is ok seeing me in them but won't change me. For the rest of you, what is the limit of what your wife is willing to accept?
  9. After wearing a diaper for many years, I know when I have to change. Now I alternate between M4 and Confidry 24/7. Based on how long I have worn the diaper and how it feels against my skin, I rarely have leaks. I know to change soon when its close to 4-5 hours or if I feel wetness that isn't being absorbed quickly or its reaching my backside. However, surprises happen. For example, I was in the grocery store this past week when I knew I had to change. I had worn the Confidry for close to 5 hours and the wetness was climbing up the backside of the diaper. I went to get some ice cream for my final stop. The cold air hit me and my bladder suddenly let loose. I didn't think I had that much pee in my bladder. It hit me so quickly that I couldn't stop the wetting quickly enough and it soaked between the leg gathers onto my boxer briefs. Eventhough I wear a plastic pant above the diaper and boxer briefs, some fabric from the wet boxer brief got my jeans wet in the back. Luckily, I had coat on so nobody could tell. When I got home, you could definitely see a leak around the outline of a soggy diaper.
  10. I always ensure that I have wet my diaper at least once before I fall asleep. It helps me wet in that semi-asleep state.
  11. Try wearing a disposable booster or typical disposable diaper (poked with holes) and a cloth diaper over that so that you get the supreme coverage of the cloth diaper and still feel dry because you have a disposable product against your skin
  12. I agree with Hookedondiapers. You have to get used to wearing diapers at night. Try wearing as much as you can at night. Start wearing just to get used to the bulk and the sensation and consciously decide not to wet. As you get used to the bulk you can start wetting at night on purpose.
  13. Many of us wear diapers to bed and many of us wake up with a wet diaper whether its voluntary or involuntary. When you wake up with a wet diaper in the morning, do you have a full bladder and still need to go?
  14. Just to have some fun with this topic, what does "having an accident" mean to you? Is it truly loosing control or is it choosing to wet your diaper voluntarily? For me, "having an accident" means that I role-play in my mind getting desperate with a diaper on and not making it . Thoughts??
  15. I can imagine what urge incontinence feels like because I've gotten to the point of bursting and maybe a dribble comes out before I make it to the toilet (assuming I am not wearing a diaper)
