  1. Woke up this morning slightly wet then since it's Saturday, went back to sleep. Woke up again a couple of hours later, completely soaked diaper. Starting to enjoy changing into a fresh diaper in the mornings. Used to be that once I got up, I'd begin stressing out about staying dry during the day but now I'm wearing 24/7 and becoming more relaxed

  2. I've never been dry at night so I've pretty much been in diapers since birth. About 6 months ago I started having daytime issues so I now have some level of protection at all times. Still coming to terms with being "incotinent" rather than "bedwetter"

  3. I suffer urge incontinence and my continence has sharply declined over the last few months. I used to experience small accidents, leaking before making it to the bathroom and continuing to dribble afterwards. Wearing absorbant boxer shorts and an inco pad was enough protection during the day but now I get little warning to make it to the bathroom before I start to go. At times I can stop mid flow but often I can't. I wear pull ups during the day now as they will hold a full wetting but also convenient for when I do make it to the bathroom. I often find that I still "need to go" for quite a while after a wetting

I wear in public. If I'm in a situation which requires close physical contact, I will generally wear pull-ups. I no longer have sufficient continence to go back to underwear.

I know what you mean, I can still get by without having to wear diapers 24/7 but during the day I need at least light protection now. I usually go for pull ups as I often start to wet and can't stop it

Sounds like he means that every time he does wet, it's from standing up.

Not that every time he stands up he wets.

To clear up any confusion. I usually have some sort of leakage when I stand up. I'm guessing it's to do with releasing pressure. Sometimes it's a small leak that my inco pants can handle easily but it's also happened that I have a full blown flooding. It's not very often that happens but I do need some type of protection all the time now

I gave up struggling over three years ago and switched to nappies 24/7. It gets better with time. Now I am completely relaxed about the whole thing. I don't find being incontinent and dependant on nappies a big deal.

I hope I will start to feel this way too. I still think of myself as "having accidents" but actually these "accidents" are most of the time and I am pretty much incontinent

  7. I generally prefer wearing diapers than pull ups from a comfort point of view but emotionally I'm more comfortable with wearing pull ups during th day. Pull ups say to me "ok, I might have a small accident, I have these just in case. If I don't make it to the bathroom, it's ok, I can change right away" where as diapers are more like "I don't have urinary control so I need protection that will cope with all my wettings".

am I crazy?! I've always worm diapers at night so I'm very used to them but daytime not so much. Anyone else feel like this?

  8. Forgot to slip on my plastic pants last night. Woke up to a soaked nappy but fortunately the bed pad caught it all. Not so long ago, I'd change, wash and put on regular underwear in the mornings but now I have daytime accidents so it's a pull up now

  9. I've recently had to start wearing protection in the day time too. If I'm at home or just a short trip out, I wear a pull up but anything longer than a couple of hours, I wear a proper diaper. My problem is that whilst I can on occasion still make it to the bathroom, I dribble frequently and often feeling wet means I can't control my pee so capacity wise, pull ups can be a bit risky.

how are you finding the adjustment to wearing during the day? I've been in diapers at night all my life but still getting used to having to wear during the day and seeing myself as "incontinent"

  10. Hi Freta

I'm experiencing the exact opposite of you. I've always wet at night but now I'm having daytime accidents which has scared me quite a bit because whilst needing diapers at night is easy to manage, I don't really want to need diapers during the day too.

I think for those of us who are either daytime or nighttime wetters, it's not uncommon to start to either develop the other or at least experience it on occasion. For me, if I'm slightly damp down there from dribbling, I can be pretty sure I will have a gradual full wetting without realising. Awake or asleep. It dawned on me the other day that I have no use for ordinary underwear now- I need to be at very least in inco shorts and a pad

  11. I have always been a bedwetter but due to my own "laziness" I'm now starting to have problems with my daytime control. Basically through beginning to wear my nighttime nappy earlier on in the evening I now

    1. Will wet without realising when I'm relaxing

    2. Have to concentrate when I stand up to avoid accidents

    3. Make sure I'm in a nappy

  12. I don't always need protection when out but in certain situations it's absolutely necessary. Today after a long drive, I made a toilet stop but walking across the car park, I didn't make it. Thankfully I wear a nappy for long drives.

  13. It's nice to see that many of you like me are lifelong bedwetters, or thereabouts. For me it was a huge relief when aged 10, my parents gave up trying to keep me dry at night and asked how I felt about wearing a nappy. Waking up wet is normal for me but recently I've had a few daytime accidents which I don't like
