Hi dl_mike, well you may think you are a a "freak" but there are a lot of people here who would disagree with that statement ! And as far as using your Diapers for No1 and No2-I always thought thats what they were made for! And you will be able to connect with lots of people here, hope you enjoy yourself.

I have a selection of Tena Slips (various absorbancies) and a few Tena Pants also, but need to get another brand that is more absorbant for nightime use on occassions. I also used to keep one of every different type I had until they were so old that the tapes would not work, so just use them all up now.

Years ago had to try all the usual bladder drugs, but all they did for me was give me dry mouth so that every time I passed the kitchen I had to have a drink-really was a bit self defeating I thought. Desmopressin was probably the best of them all except that it almost sent me to sleep most of the time. Do not and cannot take anything at present due to my job. Bummer as I would like to find something that helps me !

I love "Cloth and Plastic Pants" but they just do not have enough absorbancy for me and are also much too bulky ! So it's disposables all the time 24/7 for me.

Just plain see through Plastic Pants over my Nappy-helps when you get a leak Also keeps any unwanted "Niffs" out of the way.!

Changing whilst out can be a real pain as well as a health hazard depending on where you try to change. Our local up market store has very private and clean toilets but it is in an absolute minority Most of the local town toilets (only a few of them left now) are either closed due to vandalism or are so filthy you wouldn't take a rat in there. So my best option is to well "Pad" up before I go out and not have to bother with using anywhere to change. As for disposing of the used Nappy/Diaper that can be a problem as most public toilets do not have bins as they get smashed or stolen.

Those Plastic Pants eh! I am just about to buy a years supply from a dealer as they are my usual ones but in bulk !! As beallacanb says-"it is hard to go without them" and dont forget they let you know when you are starting to leak.

Hi Buddy 97 welcome to the best Diaper lovers site, it certainly sounds like you are a Diaper lover with the typical "Binge" and "Purge" periods a lot of us go through. Always enjoy during the "Binge" periods and also remember NOT to throw anything away during your "Purge" periods as you will only regret the loss of your supplies !!

Hi ThomasinWVa, A little while ago I seriously considered this treatment but was put off by the fact that the Hospital I attend has only had one person have this procedure so far, and the results at that time were far from conclusive. It is a big step to take as I have a very small degree of control on a few occassions and am loathe to give that up, although I am always in a Nappy it is still a difficult choice to make. Given time results from this procedure will filter through and one will then be able to make an informed judgement as to whether or not to have it done with the pro's and con's being in black and white as evidence. Good luck with your decision whichever it may be!
