  1. it's only really uncomfortable for me when i wake up to a heavy, swollen diaper and roll onto my side... that much bulk kinda hurts!

but seriously, agree with the leg pillow. i once saw a fancy medical grade one for when you have hip/leg surgery. it straps to your legs and is made of a stiff foam.

I use Abriflex pull-ups daily! I use the Level 3 and they last all day with several wettings! But I don't wet heavily either. Just little bits many times a day. I use them like diapers but can pull them off If I need to go poopoo.

i just wish they had a level 4. i was honestly hoping for them to be more absorbent so i could wear to work and other places and pull them off and on for #2, like yourself. i tend to pee a good bit multiple times during the day (probably too much coffee and tea at work) so a bit more absorption would be good. maybe i'll try some smaller sized boosters for them one day,

  3. i think i always was a diaper lover, i never wanted to get out of them. my mom says i was very reluctant and/or difficult to potty train and got out of diapers fairly late (whatever that meant by late 1980's standards, maybe about 3-4 years old, i don't remember). eventually i was out of them, and my little brother was starting his potty training. my memories are foggy at best here, so i'm filling in some blanks and assuming, so it might not sound good or seen cohesive. so we had a bag or two of pull-ups for him floating around, or maybe some of my leftovers i never needed/used and were a hand-me-down to him. late one night i decided i wanted to wear and snuck into his bedroom and got one on. i think i wet it, i don't remember, but i do remember it feeling good. and for some reason i snuck under his bed (it was a trundle bed with a large space under it for another mattress) and fell asleep. i don't remember much else besides my mom finding me the next morning and reprimanding me about putting on a pull-up. nothing awful, but dreadfully embarrassing for me. after that. i didn't give diapers another thought until my early teens.

some experiments with towels, large pads of toilet paper, garbage bags and finally finding a partial bag of diapers from my littlest siblings. they didn't fit worth a damn, but i liked the feeling. they weren't great, but they felt better than any combination of towels and bags did. but never at this point did i think to look up adult diapers on the newly released internet thing (i mostly used it for instant messaging and little else until high school, plus it was a fraction of a fraction of a shard of a shadow that it is now). i used up the diapers, and went back to towels etc for a good while. diapers never really left my mind, but they did kind of go away for a bit. when i started college i found out there are other people that like diapers! i found forums on the web and didn't feel so alone anymore. and the rest is history :)

  4. i met my g/f on okcupid nearly a decade ago. i wasn't up front about my diapers on the site, but i am pretty sure one or two of the profile builder questions were ABDL related, and obviously i rated those questions high importance. my g/f isn't abdl, but she does seem to have fun playing little once in a while, mostly just occasional cutesy talk and a love for stuffies and disney movies, but that's essentially it. after we were dating about 6 months or so, i came out to her about my diapers. after i told her, she thought about it for a few seconds, gave me a big hug and kiss and said she loves me diapers and all! she sees them as just another part of what makes me the guy she loves so much.

i tried one or two diaper dating sites, but one was a fraud, and the other was behind a paywall. the fraud site i knew was fake once i saw some profile pics that were the same pics i saw on an amateur site (now defunct). also after i signed up, built a bit of a profile, i immediately started getting "messages" from "women". but to message them back you have to pay a fee. after that and the copied pics, i knew it was fake and deleted my account. i was on there for maybe a week.

  5. abri-form/flex pull-ups are pretty good (as far as pull-ups go) but don't hold much, a few hours or so at most for me. great for in between larger, thirstier diapers or a quick, discrete out-and-about errand or two, but not for an all day wear, at least not for me. and boosters swell up and breach the leak guards, but then again, i probably used too big a booster, so more research is needed. maybe something like a small or medium totaldry booster would be a better fit than the abu boosters i used lol.

maybe try something like a tena super, or a northshore air supreme for a discrete commuter diaper. both are quiet, cloth backed diapers that hold a pretty good amount.

  6. i spent my fsa at northshore and llmedico last xmas, and plan to again this year!

i simply used the debit card to order, got everything in and kept the invoices incase they had any questions and contacted me. no word yet, so i'm assuming everything was fine and dandy :)

  7. @Linus on warpmymind there are a handful of total incontinence files, most of them by EMG and some by a few others. since total loss of control is not my goal, i haven't listened to any of them, so i don't know how they are. i know there are some that make you not feel your bladder, can't feel youself wet, total loss of any and all control of #1 and #2. read some reviews, poke around a bit, search for loss of control, i'm sure there's something on there that'll work. there's also some pay files that seem more intense and stronger than the free ones. they can get pricey, up to and surpassing $40 each. but those big ones are usually multiple related and multi-step files glommed into one package, including a few that go for total incontinence. there is a lot of chaff and fluff files on there by amateurs and such that you have to sort through to find the gems.

    good luck!

  8. yes, several times after potty training. i'm not sure how long that lasted, maybe a few months, but i don't think mom and dad ever put me back in pull-ups or diapers for night.

also once or twice in college after a night of heavy drinking. thank goodness i was in a single room :P

  9. my dream of dreams is to be able to walk out back of my house wearing a t-shirt (or onesie), diapers, my sunglasses, shoes and hearing protection and shoot shotgun all afternoon. and maybe some small arms and rifle too, depending on property size.

but honestly, just being out of eyesight of any and all neighbors either by property size, foliage and/or fencing would be great! sitting out by the firepit, having a drink and enjoying the weather and a fresh diaper without a care would be awesome.

    ...one day... :)

  10. honestly, if they left you with bad memories and were abusive to you, i just wouldn't respond. just delete the messages, block them if you want, and move forward with life. i have an ex that was just a lousy person. she wasn't abusive, but she was just a lousy person and a cheater. we eventually parted as amicably as possible (long, dumb, crappy story for another time) and a few months after our last conversation i deleted her number from my phone. several months after that around christmas time, i got a call one day from a number i didn't recognize. it was her! luckily, she said she found a phone number she didn't recognize on a bit of paper in her room and called to see who it was. she didn't recognize my voice and i played dumb with it, said i don't know who she was or how she got my number and that's the last time i spoke to her. that was about 15 years ago. i'm so much happier for dodging her call/bullet. i'm in an amazing relationship now, i have a good job, and a house with a literal closet full of diapers!

sometimes they are ex's for a reason. keep on keeping on, and leave them where they belong - in the past.

  11. not much has changed in my household. me and my g/f are both considered essential so it's been more or less business as usual for us besides masks to go out and less visitors/visiting. but with the less socialization these days, i've been able to happily diaper up and not worry about anyone dropping by unexpectedly or needing to head out for errands on the weekends. so several of my weekends have been diaper weekends, from friday night to monday morning! but then i realized i was burning through my stash pretty quickly, so i've slowed down with those weekends a bit lol

  12. me and my g/f went camping a few years ago (and hasn't let up on when we're going again lol) it's a neat place about an hour into the pines and we got a shelter, basically a salt-box style shed with more windows and a wood stove (makes it SSOOOO comfy cozy in there on cold days and nights!). we had the place for several days and i brought a few diapers with me to use, but the feeling never really struck me. i knew i had them and i could put one on whenever, but it never really hit me to change into one. maybe next time.

  13. i have found that fluffing the diaper and booster help out with pee going everywhere (in a good way lol)

i've been going back and forth with getting a chastity contraption for diapers. i remember finding a cage that looked kinda like a catcher's mask on an australian site (i think) that i was curious about. it was hinged on one side and kept pressure off the bits without looking like it was too confining. but i was in incognito mode when i found it and didn't save the site, so it's lost for now and the search continues. i was thinking maybe something like an athletic cup would help out, too. something that keeps the weight of a heavy wet diaper off the bits and allow more liquid to flow downward instead of right out infront.

i was also looking into a hollow penis plug, essentially a short bit of shaped silicone or stainless steel with a hole in the center. it's only designed to go in 2-4 inches (but sometimes more), so maybe that with a tube on the end would help with distribution. but i'm rather concerned with the risk of infection. i'd imagine it's something like a catheter, but much shorter, so maybe infection risk would shrink with that? just something more to think about.

  14. i didn't always change before bed, but after a few nights with some bad leaks now i always change before bed!

it wasn't a real issue until the last year or so when i became able to wet while i slept (go me! lol) i would usually be able to hold it through the night or wake up and let it go with no real surprises. if i woke up and felt a leak while i was going, i'd stop and get up to change. but now i get into bed in a fresh, dry diaper (megamax with a XXL booster and PUL pants, if anyone was wondering. i can't recommend that combination enough!) and wake up many hours later with a warm, heavy and very wet diaper! such a wonderful feeling for me! :D

  15. best bet is to just try a bunch and see what you like. diapers vary heavily depending on how thick, absorbent, as well as any outer cosmetic designs you may want or not want.

also try https://www.llmedico.com/ for diapers, they have a great selection of samples, too. https://www.llmedico.com/samples/ they don't have anything from northshore, but they do have one hell of a selection to pick from. not much for boosters, btw, but for diapers they are great! plus they accept FSA, (if you have that) so that's an option. they are also very friendly and nice to work with. they carry primarily more medical diapers geared towards those that need them or are DL, but they do have a few with AB prints.

    good luck!!

  16. i've only diapered myself while standing. maybe a few times early on in my re-diapering days i tried taping up laying down, but i haven't in recent memory. we have a bed in our guest/changing room, but there's just stuff on it... mostly old and/or seasonal laundry, but some other little clutter things too. and i just don't want to clean off the bed to try to tape up. plus i don't have a changing pad/old towel to lay out before i lay down. one day i do want to give it a shot, but until then i'm perfectly happy changing against the door frame :)

  17. i enjoy a (rather) large gin&tonic to get things happy and flowing :D

also some good beers or a few whiskies hit the spot nicely for me. G&T's are for summer and christmas time, whisk(e)y is for cool/cold weather and rainy days, and beer for days that end with "y" lol there are so many styles of beer for everytime of the year- saisons, farmhouse ales, pale and india pales for summer. marzens, browns, pumpkins and smoked beers for fall, wits, heavy stouts and barleywines for the deep winter. wits, hefeweisens and porters for spring. and nice lagers and ciders all year 'round! as well as a lovely irish-based holiday in mid-march ☘️

i'm not in my 20s anymore, i don't drink to get drunk...usually lol. i go for quality over quantity these days, both the potables i drink and the peoples i drink with. if we so happen to get drunk together, then it's a happy side effect!

  18. my g/f gets bad migraines often. she's sensitive to sounds and some light, but mostly it's just big head hurts for her. it puts her on her ass for the day (sometimes longer) and for the next day or two after it breaks she says she feels "fuzzy".

she has found some relief with taking grapeseed oil gelcaps. she says they cut her migraines down from a few a week to a few a month, even less. and their severity is down too. when she does get them, she has a head wrap with little gel packs in it she keeps in the freezer. if she catches the migraine early enough, she wrap can even stop it in it's tracks. but this may not work for everyone.

    hope you feel better!

Bambino tried. I mean, it wasn't really a success. I think Northshore or ABU are the most likely ones to get something made. I just really wish these had worked. The waistband looked so comfortable...

the bambino pull up was about as successful as the spruce goose. looked sweet, but severely under-performed.

the salt in the wound is that the waistband was very comfortable! it felt like a snug fleece blanket around my hips, and was about as absorbent as one, too lol it leaked not even halfway through my first go, right out the leg holes.

the northshore pull ups are nice, they can hold a good bit. but i think the better/best ones are by abena/abri form. they're definitely not an all day wear, but they'll hold up for a few hours of lighter use. the other day i wore one for about 5 or 6 hours before i changed, any longer and the couch would have gotten wet.

  20. such a cute and great story! :D

kinda reminds me of myself trying out diapers for the first time- the same mix of excitement, terror, confusion and joy! i was almost shaking wile reading this hoping she doesn't get caught!

more would be fun, but this would be a great "one and done" short story, too.

  21. having no real memories from that early on, i can only go on what my mom and family has said throughout my life and assumptions.

apparently, i was a real pain to potty train, a real late bloomer of sorts. the tales go that i didn't want to stop and get up from whatever i was doing. whether it was watching tv (back when PBS had many more shows on, also no real commercial breaks! plus i discovered how to work the vcr lol), playing with my toys or out in the yard, eating, snoozing, etc. i don't exactly know if i thought they were just convenient, or i really enjoyed them. perhaps both, considering i stole my brother's diapers and/or pull-ups at least once in my recollection. i do remember being happy when i put it on...and being beyond embarrassed when my parents found me wearing them (i was possibly 4 or 5 at the time, don't exactly know). i can recall wetting the bed a few times, but that's really about it. i remember i hated waking up all wet, cold and smelly then going to wake up mom or dad and have them freshen me and my bed at whenever the hell in the middle of the night.

so, i'm going to say most probably yes, i would still enjoy them today if i had worn them more when i was younger. i don't think i ever really stopped liking diapers, i just took a hiatus from age 5 to my early/mid teens :P
