  1. For anyone who is interested, there is a brief scene in the pilot episode of "Hart to Hart" which shows a woman dressed as a baby, pacifier in mouth, sitting in a crib. Apparently, she is in 'regressional therapy'. About 15 minutes in.
  2. I love Jane Wells. I have never read her blog, but I see her daily on CNBC and enjoy her sense of humor and take on the economy. It doesn't surprise me that she has such an open mind.
  3. I hadn't seen Depends boosters in a long time but actually just recently (within the last two weeks) saw them at a local Fred Meyer store. They are a good product and should be sold with Depends because you can't really use Depends without them. As for other boosters, I prefer Abena - they are pulp based, which absorbs faster than gel (bambino).
  4. Anyone who listens to Howard Stern knows that Richard Christie proudly wears diapers to concerts!
  5. Hey Vic, good work so far! So you haven't smoked for almost two weeks now - what healthy habits have you 'started' since then? I think it's usually easiest to burn the candle at both ends so I was just wondering if you started something new to improve your life in place of smoking - exercising? more fruit?
  6. I am in Seattle proper as well. Anyone into skiing/snowboarding, cycling, baseball, soccer, etc? If so, drop me a line!
  7. Actually, the very first bambino I ever wore split right down the back with a loud 'pop' when I was sitting down. This hasn't happened since but I think it was just a matter of the top tapes being a little too low around my hips so that as I was bending down that extra stress was just too much for the plastic.
  8. Quite the contrary! I think your post shows that you are a very sensitive human being.
  9. Hey Ranger, You might like this video;
  10. Did any of you guys participate in this?
  11. I don't know what you're referring to as 'real', but it is a real photo, and that is how the new york jets 'flightcrew' outfits look - it's just so crazy how much they appeal to our community!
  12. If DD were to have cheerleaders, I think their outfits would look something like this... http://www.thejetsblog.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/flightcrew.jpg
  13. Umm, I would say that maybe he was hitting on you, but judging from your profile and your hijacking of just about every thread with your 'merry christmas' maybe he was just weird or annoying, but not moreso than you.
  14. I agree with Diapered67 - Assurance at Walmart is the best store brand I've tried. That said, I would not say that they are worth trying even for novelty if you already have a shipment of Bambinos meeting you in NC; if you were in a pinch, then I would recommend them, otherwise save your money for something else.
  15. On a slightly related note, I recently spent a good number of hours cleaning out a bunch of old photos and letters - no, not off my hard drive, out of a shoe box! I don't remember the last time someone mailed me an actual letter or gave me an actual photo. Also, does anyone ever receive 'e-vites' anymore? Or am I just not that popular? Seems like a fad that died.
  16. I always thought the purple was an effort to disguise the color of whatever ends up in your diaper. If you notice, with a white diaper you can see that it is yellow or whatever, but in the purple molicare, it's just purple, but obviously wet. Kind of like an added discreetness, you know?
  17. I have to agree with another poster's comments - molicare tapes are much better than abena tapes; I rarely have problems with them. Also, molicare supers are my go-to diaper for working out in as they are thin, comfortable, and have those breathable sides. Interesting comments about the bambino tapes. I don't have a problem with the bottom tape but I do think the TOP tape is too low - it doesn't come over the top of my hips like it should (i.e. a belt). That's another reason I like the molicares - the tapes are at the right locations to keep the diaper secure on me.
  18. Stuff like this really makes me hate the press - they put "diaper fetish" in the headline but make no further mention of how it relates to the story...because it doesn't relate to the story!
  19. Interesting to get other people's takes on diapers. I like molicare super plus over abena x-plus because the crotch is wider in the molis - this means that it is less likely I'll leak while sitting down. They both are very comfortable, though, and as for tapes - I've had better results with molicare than I have with abena. The most important thing is to find the diaper that is right for you!
  20. I have never *really* been caught, or so I think, but I did have an interesting experience with a roommate a few years back; I had ordered a box of diapers from hdis, and found them near the entryway of my apartment. Both my roommates were home, and thus, had seen the box. The return label, btw, says "HDIS". A few days later, I see another box, from HDIS, sitting by the door, this time, addressed to one of my roommates! Nothing was ever mentioned between us - though, I did go in the bathroom at one point later on and saw a pair of plastic pants hanging by the shower. This whole event is easier to put into perspective now, but at the time I really didn't know what to make of it. I was definitely more on the defensive at the time than I should've been so there is no way I would have brought up the topic. For all I know my roommate could have been a bedwetter or incontinent or, a dl. I don't think I've ever been caught by my parents, and I hope I haven't, but if they did find out they never said anything and I don't really think they ever would. I think it would be just as awkward for them as it would be for me.
  21. AuntieAB, Yes, B4NS is relatively expensive. I have been willing to pay the price, however, because these are the first plastic pants that I can wear and know that they will contain almost ALL leaks. They really are amazing. I think it's the plastic covered elastics that help to create a seal against your skin - I've had times where I didn't realize just how much my diaper had leaked until I took the plastic pants off and saw a big puddle in them. Also, because the elastics are plastic covered, the pants air dry very quickly as there is no material that absorbs liquid. Hope that helps.
  22. Went to a Halloween costume store yesterday and saw a few "Big Baby" costumes. Firstly, it made me wonder who is dressing up as a "big baby" for Halloween and are they aware of ABDLs? Secondly, you can buy an accessory pack that includes a disposable diaper. It looked kind of like a bambino bianco without the tape landing strip on the front. This made me think that whoever puts on this diaper for their costume would not be able to take it off to use the bathroom without tearing the diaper. So, do they just use the diaper? Anyway, some thoughts to ponder.
  23. The plastic pants from this company are the best, hands down; the plastic covered elastics are great at stopping leaks. So far I have ordered 5 pairs of the snap up variety. My only problem is that the last two pairs I ordered the snaps are a bit weak and will pop open easily. I wrote them about this and they replaced one of the pants, no questions asked. My advice would be just to stick with the regular pull-on pants and avoid the snap-ups - when the snaps work, they are great. Otherwise they can be very frustrating.
  24. Great company. No complaints, so far. The abena onesies are great, too, nice snug fit.
