Yes, I HAVE heard of workers comp covering things NOT covered by regular health insurance... I think when someone is injured on the job, they're put in a "Next Level" type of plan. That goes somewhat for disabled vets too... I know a disabled vet who gets diapers thru the VA, grab-bars in his bathroom, bedroom, kitchen... They even modified his house with a walk-in / roll-in shower stall. Again, way above what regular health insurance covers.

Yes, "Boomer Humor", mixed with a little sarcasm... You got it!! Also, some distain for what appears to be a kind of attempted insurance fraud. ( Some of us are still under the illusion that everything works better if we all play by the rules... Damn rules... ) And as far as diapers in Prison, well if you get Bubba as a cell mate, you might actually need diapers! 😆 (More Boomer Humor right there... ) 😳😆

Between this message thread and the one about going to India, there will soon be over half a dozen people who have made the leap to incontinence and diaper-dependence!

Ok, here's a tip for Grimpants... Go to a thrift store, like Goodwill or whatever you have nearby. Often, they have packages of adult diapers for around 5 bucks. These will be the cheaper type diapers that you would get thru an insurance plan, IF you had an actual need for diapers and your insurance plan covered it. If you don't have 5 bucks, or a job, you could probably get the money pretty easy... Just stand on the corner with a cardboard sign that says "I need money for diapers." If you want to make A LOT of money, make sure your pants are wet too.. More people will stop. ( And who said I don't have GREAT ideas?!?!? ) 😁

Regarding what you asked about the direction of the story, I hope it's more focused now on Darlene and Avery's relationship, with perhaps Christy in the mix too. I guess if I was writing it, it would develop more as Darlene and Avery in a sort of adoptive mother / special needs son relationship, with Christy becoming kind of a babysitter. It's kind of leaning that way already.

Yes, I wondered about too... Exactly what the effect would be if just the external urinary sphincter was impaired. The only info on it that I've found is what guys experience after prostate surgery for cancer, where they had to remove parts of the sphincters.

Ha !!! Yes, that would be kinda dark... 😆 Did you see the other new thread in this forum? It looks like "Peelee" had a similar surgery yesterday in India, where the doctor used a laser on him.... It will be interesting to see what his results are.

Reddy... You mentioned that you've talked with Wetgut13579... Have you talked to BrownBobby lately? Just wondered how he's doing. Do you still have to cath sometimes, to prevent another stricture?

"Did the Mexico clinic send the cartel after them cuz they were talking too much??" 😖 "Did some rare incontinence side-effect hit them all at once?" 🙄 "Did they all get severe diaper rash at the same time?" 😳 ( Hey, I'm retired, I got lots of time to think up goofy stuff.... ) 🤣😂😆😁

As far as I know, just the three original guys who went to the clinic in Mexico. But for what ever reason, it seems they have all ghosted us. I hope they're doing ok.
