No one in our family has tried getting stoned for many generations.... Ever since great-great-great-great grandmother Mildred, from Salem, MA. was accused of being a witch. She got stoned... It left a bad impression on her.

Well Reddy should be getting home sometime this evening... Wondered how everything went today?? Any catheter issues? Leaking into the diaper? Problems with the flight? Did the doors stay on the plane? (Hey, that's an issue now days!) 😄😲🙏

BrownBobby... I think you mentioned blood clots somewhere around here. Did you have blood clots too? Did you also have to wear a catheter for an additional period of time?

Generally, pain is a sign that something is wrong. What size catheter can you take WITHOUT pain right now? It's probably safer to increase cath size slowly, over a period of time, giving things time to stretch naturally. What's your cath size goal?

Schadenfreude?? Great... Another big-ass German word I can't pronounce!!! It took me YEARS to say "Fahrvergnugen" !!! 😆😆 It's the Salsa.... Those little bits in the Salsa pass right thru ya, into the bladder. I know, weird, right??

Wow.... That's crazy! Though I think BrownBobby mentioned blood clots somewhere around here a while back. Well, I'm sure the 14fr is more comfortable than the 22fr was. My only thought is could urine possibly leak around the 14fr cath, since the surgery "opened you up" down there. You might have to wear a diaper to catch any leakage. I'm assuming you will have a leg bag now, for the next 10 days?

Yes, I hope he was able to sleep thru the night, and wet without being wakened by his bladder. It's always great waking up totally refreshed, with an empty bladder and a full diaper!

Not sure I understand... "where you tuck your scrotum up onto your body" Are you tucking your scrotum up "onto" or "into" your body?? I do often point my penis DOWN into my diaper, when going to bed, since I'm a side-sleeper and this prevents most leaking.

You said you're flying home on Wednesday... Are you going back to work the next day, or do you still have some time off to heal and adapt to diapered life back home? Do you have a waterproof cover on your mattress at home? You WILL have leaky diapers once in a while...

Remember, for the flight back, you probably want to use a booster pad (or two) in your diaper. After sitting for several hours on a flight, when you stand up, you may have a LOT of urine gushing into your diapers... Do you feel any pee going thru your urethra, or just the wetness of your diapers?

So how many diaper changes since the catheter came out? Are you going to run out of the Mexican diapers before your flight back? And how full is your wastebasket getting?

Were you able to get downstairs for breakfast this morning? Have you left your room yet, now that you're back in diapers? Is the pain mostly gone, with the catheter removed?

Exactly.... As I mentioned in an earlier post, I've "Lived the incontinent life", being diapered and stented, on all my vacations, for the last 10 years or more, doing any activity that I want. Usually I do everything, wearing disposable diapers, but I've even done several things while in cloth diapers and plastic pants. With the right loose fitting pants and long un-tucked shirts, my diapers are not noticeable. As far as diapers go, there are so many choices now days. Also, I often use booster pads in my diapers, when I know it's going to be a while between diaper changes. Last year, I was on vacation, touring a large city. Instead of carrying a backpack with spare diapers all over town, I wore a pair of cargo jeans with the big pockets. I put a folded booster pad in each pocket, and had a booster pad in my diaper. The pads are quite thin when dry. When the booster pad got to wet, I'd just duck into a restroom, and swap out the wet pad in my diaper for a dry one. This technique worked great!!

Curious to hear how Reddy's first night of diaper dependency went?!?!? Soaked diapers? Wet bed?

Reddy and /or BrownBobby can clarify this, but I don't think the doc took out all of the prostate and sphincters, just part of them, to cause incontinence....

Umm, yeah.... You might want to set an alarm for the middle of the night. Or you might wake up with a soaked bed.

Don't limit yourself... While I'm not incontinent, I have tried to live as an incontinent guy for different periods of time. For example, for several years, I have been taking my vacations stented and diapered for 2 or 3 weeks at a time. During these times, I have gone skiing, whitewater rafting, hiking, zip-lining, horseback riding, atv riding, biking, and some boring stuff too. So just because you'll be diapered, doesn't mean you will have to sit at home.

So it's been a few hours.... How long did that first diaper hold out?

Yes... That's gonna happen. I follow a couple incontinence forums (Not on Daily Diapers..) and several of the guys there, who had prostate surgery, said that after sitting a while, when they stand up, their diaper fills quickly. I don't know how to break this to you.... But I think you really need diapers now. 🙄 And when you DO feel good enough to do that, you might want to have a diaper covering you. The New You!!

And don't be afraid to post a photo of the wastebasket filling up with wet diapers! 😄😁😎

Cool.... If you take a nap, you might want to set an alarm... You don't know how quickly that diaper will fill up. How are you feeling? It might take a couple days for the real "Diaper Dependent" mindset to hit you...

YAAY !!! Reddy has to wear DIAPERS!! So did she give you any instructions? like stay hydrated, no heavy lifting, no whining about wet pants... 😄 I'm curious... "she took multiple trips of drawing and emptying the fluid from the balloon," How much fluid was in the balloon? Usually, with the caths I use, one syringe full, and the balloon is empty..

Better have a diaper ready! Tell her you've never put a diaper on, and you need some help...
