  1. For me it started with some slight daytime dribbling then out of nowher my bedwetting came back. Soon I was wetting every night and my daytime incontinence has got to the point where wearing a pad is a necesity
  2. That is exactly how I feel and just what my wife said to me when I started to wet the bed again.
  3. As I am already pretty much incontinent these days and am seldom dry at night taking the pill would only confirm things so why not.
  4. My wife is the same doesn't care in the least that I wear a nappy to bed and as long as I only wet my side of the bed it doesn't bother her. We were both chronic wetters as kids and she says it's no big deal.
  5. I do remember still wearing a usually wet nappy when opening christmas presents but don't think I would have wet again.
  6. My bedwetting is mainly due to my diabetes too. My wife doesn't care as long as she doesn't get pee'd on. Like me she was a chronic wetter as a kid and doesn't see it as a big deal.
  7. I'd rather just wear a nappy and get a good nights sleep too.
  8. I wet the bed most if not every night and have learned to accept and embrace my condition. I just wondered if anyone else has found this the best way to cope with being an adult bedwetter.
  9. I admire your decision to become a bedwetter once more. How is your quest going. Have you had to tell your house mates yet?
  10. When my bedwetting started again my wife simply ordered a waterproof cover for our bed and put a kylie on my side. It was my choice to start wearing pads at night which make me a lot more comfortable.
  11. I can only sympathise. It has happened to me once. Hindsight is a wonderful thing and I'm sure you won't take chances again. I certainly won't. I always wear a pull up when away from home.
  12. I don't worry anymore. I don't think anyone really cares anyway. If I was challenged I would just say I'm incontinent and have no choice.
  13. I think it depends entirely on how comitted to reaching your goal. If you really want to be a bedwetter then you will succed. As someone who enjoys being a bedwetter I can understand why you would want to acheive this but you must weigh up all the pros and cons first. Once this is done then go for it. Stay comitted to your goal, relax and enjoy the journey and don't worry about the side effects such as smell's leaks, ruined bedding etc. A true bedwetter has no control over these issues and must deal with them as thy happen and so must you.
  14. As someone who wets the bed most nights but actually enjoys being this way I can see why someone would want to start bedwetting. Once you have explored all the conciquences of what you are about to do and you really must do this as what seems like fun now could be a real pain later. Then from that moment on always think of yourself as a bedwetter and live your life accordingly. From the very first night of your quest you should wet deliberately and deal with it in the morning always telling your self you are a bedwetter so I will have wet nappies or a wet bed to deal with in the morning. Once you make this a habit it will become easier. We all know habits are easy to form but hard to break. The rest will follow if you stick at it. Stay comitted to your goal and you too can be a bedwetter like me.
  15. I was a chronic bedwetter as a child and throughout my teens. I am back to nightly wetting again. in answer to the questions 1/ I don't remeber a time during my childhood when I didn't wet the bed. My earliest memories would be when I was about 2 or 3 years old when I was in nappies day and night. 2/ My Grandmother confided in me that my mother wet her bed well in to her teens. Both my mother and granmother were incontinent in old age. 3/ I was kept in nappies at night because I constantly wet the bed until I was about 8 or 9 years old. Then on the advice of our District Nurse I was taken out of nappies as it was thought if I was wet and uncomfortable at night I would soon stop wetting the bed. Yeah right like that worked. After that it was years of soggy sheets and smelly wet beds that I just got used to and to be honest started to enjoy by my teens. My mother used to air my matteras on the lawn for all to see and it was no secret I wet the bed. Family members used to discuss it as if I wern't there. 4/ I was in my teens before I had any dry nights. I know if I had really made an effort I could have beaten my bedwetting when I was about 12 or 13 years old but by that time I was so used to being wet at night if I woke needing to pee I just wet my bed and went back to sleep. I just didn't care and had no interest in being dry at night by then. 5/ Just about everyone knew I wet the bed. I used to get teased about it but gradually it just became accepted Steve wet his bed and probably always would. 6/ I can honestly say my bedwetting never bothered me. I only remember complaining about having a wet bed once and being told to shut up and get back in it before it went cold. After that I never complained and just got used to sleeping in a wet and smelly bed.
  16. I have woken while peeing my bed and the flow was quite fast and I had no way of stopping it. My guess is this is normally the case. Judging by how wet my nappy usually is when I wake I would say I usually completely empty my bladder at least once during the night.
  17. I usually wear nappies but just every now and then I get the urge to wet my bed. Bedwetting is something I grew up with and started to enjoy it by the time I reached my teens. I think it was just a way of coping with something I couldn't stop.
  18. As someone who wets the bed most nights and to be honest enjoys being a bedwetter I can see both sides of the coin. What I would say to anyone wishing to be a bedwetter. Please think long and hard about what you are about to do. If you are certain this is what you really want and have explored all the conciquenses of your actions then go for it. You only get one life so as long as you are hurting no one you should live it as you please. Bedwetting never hurt anyone but will most likely really piss your family, partener etc off ( pun intended) My advice is just relax and let it flow. Get used to being wet as much as possible and stay comitted to your goal. Bedwetting is a habit and most habits are easy to fall in to and hard to break. Stick at it and you are sure to succeed.
  19. I am an adult bedwetter. I was a chronic bedwetter throughout my childhood and well in to my teens. I wasn't reliably dry at night until my early 20's. I had some further wetting episodes as an adult and have been back to nightly wetting for over a year now.
  20. I wasn't reliably dry at night until I was in my early 20's. I have had several episodes over the years and am back to nightly wetting again now.
  21. I am new here although far from new at bedwetting. It is something that I've dealt with on and off all my life.
  22. I am an adult bedwetter and have travelled widely despite seldom being dry at night. I find that cheaper motels don't really care whether you wet the bed. I have stayed in several where the matterases were already badly stained. B&B establishments usually protect their beds. I have stayed in several Inns where the protection was obvious with noisy plastic covers on the beds. Over the years there have been times when I have wet the bed but nothing was ever said. One place I stayed in the US the maid simply changed the sheet and left the still damp matteras. I usually try and take my own protection when travelling in the UK.
