  1. I just made myself some rules for double diapers that I'm now... Obliged (?) ... Maybe not but I'm going to follow to see how babyish I feel. So I won't be online for a while because I've got to crawl and the phone is on the table. Bath and change time in maybe an hour and a half when the water is warm enough.
  2. The obvious bulge. The crinkle. The top of the second diaper inevitably sticking out above shorts. The fact that mommy can't see the evidence of a wet diaper until the front of the bottom diaper rips through and the fourth wetting shows. Unscheduled checks. The fact that it's impossible for baby to close his or her legs and the closest is about an inch. The fact that when your rule for your little baby is that when they have pooed their diaper, they are no longer allowed to walk but must crawl until changed (add a pacifier for extra emphasis of helplessness. Ie: They can no longer walk like toddlers but must crawl like helpless babies). And they better hope that if the geyser is not switched on, that it gets switched on before they dirty their diaper, because otherwise they can't reach. All things that make mommy smile.
  3. It's a boiling night / early morning (1AM) here and ... Extra Sticky 1) I'm sweating in a double diaper, Even before its wet; and 2) the extra Sticky (the fourth tape) on the outside diaper failed me.. again 😥🚼
  4. Why did this post stop getting replies?
  5. I have had no luck in the work department and have been unemployed for 26 years, but last July things took a turn when I finally got a CV done. Since then, I've been putting out CV's but heard nothing back, although I got positive feedback from two. The one is an admin type job that fits my admin skills exactly. That might be needed next month. The other is an in-store radio position, which isn't available immediately, but I've been invited to go in today to record a demo in case a position becomes available
  6. I know what CHiPs stood for
  7. I was just wondering if there was anyone else in South Africa here
  8. Dl should be obvious although it's more baby than dl. S(outh) Africa
  9. If she is Christian, chances are very good that there will be a level of understanding, or trying to. The Biblical principle of love being patient and kind would probably make the situation easier. What happened in my case was my ex found a diaper under my pillow one day. I didn't leave it there with that intention though.
  10. What are your top 3 things that give you the feeling of being a baby? For me it's being left in a wet diaper for hours (I normally do about five hours before washing), having a pacifier in my mouth, and (I discovered this only yesterday despite it being far from the first time I wore like this) the acknowledgment of not being able to close my legs when double diapered.
  11. So the last upper tape on the second diaper is once again being obstinate and won't stay stuck. Last time it led to a bit of a leak, but.. whatever. Any tips for getting tapes to stick the first time?
  12. I was just sent New Year's videos of snow at Sea level in Norway. I wish for snow. I've only ever seen it in 2012 up country here in South Africa
  13. Locking crib, and high chair
  14. I need to find something fast. Income didn't even pay bills and now I have no money till the end of January. I'm thinking of asking if I can help with tasks at the Hare Krishna temple in exchange for meals
  15. I got myself a Bluetooth speaker and now I'm broke for the next four weeks because income is half what it used to be and I didn't know a debit order would come off my account early Oh I also ordered a Jean Claude van Damme movie I didn't have.. it's going to be number 44 on DVD.
  16. California Highway Patrol... Sorry, CHiPs
  17. I didn't like broccoli as a child. Now I love it. I adore spinach. And a few things happened when I turned 37. I started feeling the cold. And I started loving liquorice. I used to hate liquorice
  18. I have a Christmas tree up all year, and last year I took the Days Of Our Lives tradition of putting peoples' (and cats') names on ornaments. Luna hung her own ornament last year, or I held her and told her what was happening while I did it. Christmas is a tough time for someone living on their own. Three Christmases I have been alone, and two I had nothing more to eat than a slice of bread. This year would have been the same but I've borrowed money to get through the weekend. I need new blood pressure medication anyway. When my money comes through I'm going to order two of the 5 Jean Claude van Damme movies I don't have and go watch two movies at the cinema.
  19. I was just going to make a post about this under general discussion. I'm glad I found the appropriate place to talk about it. There is NOTHING more babyish than a white diaper discolouring. And then staying in the diaper for up to five hours so that the whole world can see how much of a dependent little baby one is. Ed note: I know that in the case of being double diapered noone can necessarily see the evidence, but the feeling of wetness sticking to the skin and the bulk is a constant reminder of how little one actually is.
  20. When I traveled last year, I had bought a belt, and even when I was in Norway I needed to make another notch on the belt. Since I got back I have just continued to lose weight. I need to make another notch to keep pants up now. I already made another three since I got back. But the more space there is in a diaper, the better. Right?
  21. Just done that. I found out when I tried it for the first time earlier this year that it's the way to go.
  22. I've communicated before how stressful situations are relieved by diapers. Well, the last few months my monthly income has been about half of what it normally used to be, and doesn't even cover bills. I've just doubled (that way I don't have to worry about leaks at all) and ready for the night. There's something so comforting in diapers... That one can just allow stresses and life situations to melt away. I have a tendency to wake up very early (2.30 to 3AM) but if I can wake up wet that will be a dream. I've never been able to do that. I've always just wet before I go to sleep and then sleep through. Yes, I know. That's also waking up wet, but you know what I mean.
  23. Florida's tile pizza. Sounds simple enough to me
  24. I just used until the first diaper sank from the weight. It didn't exactly expose the top diaper to wetting though. But what it does do is avoid leaking or seeping through when one sits
