It is much more likely they were corrupted when that happened. All the stories that weren't edited and fixed were deleted.

naughtybabyboy22. the story forum was corrupted by a server issue.. they were not deleted to create more space.  the stories wouldn't open so they bad file were gone through and removed. Please don't assume we do things to create more space..  thank you.. spent large amounts of time going through each and every story , all so everyone could enjoy what was left. Most member that lost content were nice enough to replace the non working links.

Oh I didn't think they had, sorry if it seemed that way Glennie! We appreciate the efforts. I'll just be resubmitting them then
